Very clean and spacious place! The bed was comfortable. Would definitely book again when out visiting in the area!

I've stayed in at least a half dozen other airbnb places in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area over the last years, and this location was by far the nicest. It's very quiet and nicely appointed; easy parking and easy access; close to downtown Palo Alto; and above all, Bob was a wonderful host. Very easy to communicate and responses were almost instantaneous. I hope to have the chance to stay again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

⸻ I had such a wonderful two-week stay at the farm. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly—especially the sweet little black cat named Teva, who wore a green collar and quickly became a favorite companion. Toni was so kind and responsive, always making sure everything was just right. The farm felt very safe and peaceful throughout my stay. Being in a cabin on a farm, a few bugs are to be expected, but it wasn’t an issue—I came prepared with essential oils, which worked well to keep them at bay. The cabin itself is cozy and compact, but the many windows let in so much natural light that it felt bright and open. The shower was great too—good water pressure and ventilation, though it might be a bit snug for some. Overall, it’s a lovely little escape—close enough to San Jose for convenience, but with a feeling of peaceful seclusion that makes it feel like a true retreat.

Place was great! Small, but that was great for us. Loved that it came with the bikes, surfboards, hot tub, fire pit, etc. we used everything! Evan was very responsive to questions and helpful with recommendations.

I love Tom's place! This was my second time staying. It is a beautiful oasis. Super quiet, peaceful, comfortable space, perfect for writing, working, and rest away from the city, yet still convenient to all the amenities of Los Altos. Tom is a lovely host and goes out of his way to be accommodating. This is one of only a few affordable and high quality Airbnbs in the area. Highly recommend!

Chrissy was great. She made check-in easy and the place was as it was marketed. I had no hassles. I will say I found the bedding a bit hot to sleep in, but the a/c worked and pulling some of the warmer layers off the bed made a difference. Overall I was very happy and comfortable.

This is the 3rd time I've had the pleasure of staying at this unit and it never disappoints. It is comfortable, roomy, and just perfect for my short business trips. They communicate well and are available to help if needed. I hope to come back!

Exactly what I needed for my long weekend in Santa Cruz. Soquel is super quiet and it’s minutes from Capitola Beach. Great option for me as a solo traveler on a budget.

The location is a destination in and of itself! Gorgeous property with cozy and homey furnishings. The linens were fresh and smelled so good! Beautiful views everywhere you look inside the suite. They event out pillows in the bench next to the window so you can gaze and watch the sunset. My favorite part is the garden swing next to the orange tree. The hot tub is luxurious as well—great for a couples retreat or break from the busy city

This continues to be a lovely place to stay and our favourite in the region. We have stayed at this location a few times over the past few years. The care and cleanliness are kept up and the garden is always beautiful. This season it was yellow roses and blossoms on the strawberry plants. Thanks Tamara and Tim for your extra help with a parcel delivery. We hope to return on another trip.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here! We were greeted by our host Emkay and he even grabbed a cart for us to put our belongings in for easier transport! The cabin was cozy and everything we needed was inside! The property is beautiful and we enjoyed taking our Cat down to the creek and exploring. Our hosts left us a bottle of wine and it was such a great final touch to end our anniversary trip 💙 Thank you Emkay and Lara for such great hospitality! I had a great stay! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and relaxed. Though the place is small it makes extremely good use of the room available. Being situated in the backyard, there is a good feeling of privacy and one can also be sitting outside for breakfast or to work. I can only recommend the place.

It was a genuine pleasure to meet Bear Haus! Really a lovely person! The two “haus me” homes (MicroHaus Pro and the M1 Pro) that we stayed in are exceptional in every sense of the word! I can’t wait to go back!

Jon and Amanda were amazing host and super friendly. They responded really quick and were very helpful from the time we arrived until we left. Loved the scenery from the windows, the view from the patio, the lights at night look amazing, the fire place felt really cozy. Would definitely want to get that experience again at the Fuselage!

What a wonderful stay! We loved feeling so far away even though we were so close to town and the coast. In proper winter fashion, we stayed cozy and cooked hearty meals. Any cooking improvisational moves we needed to make, Patricia was there to help us out. The persimmons, the fairy lights in the rain, the chatty chickens—it all lent to a beautiful stay. I really enjoyed my time at George’s cabin. It was so incredibly peaceful. The room and the bathroom were very clean and smelled great. The bathtub is amazing, and I loved taking a bath every afternoon. My phone is att and it worked a little for texting, but that’s it. And I loved that. It was great to be removed from the world, but also able to quickly drive to so many great locations. I went on a hike within 30 minutes of the house every day and all were beautiful. George gave me plenty of space, but I did get to meet him, and he was so friendly and kind. Totally recommend this place!

Wonderful hidden cottage for my solo (with pup) restorative retreat and so close to beach and hiking aannnd great restaurants and coffee.

We were looking for a special place for our 40th wedding anniversary and this cottage far exceeded our expectations! it was simply beautiful! and our hosts were incredibly helpful. we hope to return again

This place was so lovely! Surrounded by beautiful trees and the sounds of the creek made for great writing spot. Also, great hiking nearby. The A-Frame is adorable and nicely decorated. Sweet spot!!

I had a great three-month stay at this peaceful accommodation in Eric and Rebecca's garden while visiting Stanford Research Park. The hosts were incredibly kind, regularly checking in and offering helpful local suggestions. The space was quiet and tranquil and the sunny outdoor area made for perfect breakfast spots among the birds and fragrant flowers. Eric and Rebecca shared delicious oranges from their tree. The location is excellent – 15 minutes to San Antonio train station, with nearby bus stops, Safeway, etc. The free Palo Alto Link service to the research park is just five minutes away, making car-free exploration easy. Secure bicycle storage is available. The accommodation felt modern, clean, and well-maintained with great natural light, comfortable sleeping, and a functional workspace. The bathroom and shower were modern, and the kitchen included fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and storage (no cooktop or oven). Perfect for long-term research visits – highly recommended!

Enjoyed funky decor at Liz’s place, being a quick easy walk to the beach, bed very comfortable. Only quibble was we couldn’t get door code until we arrived & one light bulb needed replacing. But overall we were very happy & would return. Enjoyed patio & privacy.

We were lucky to find an opening for the dates we needed it for. Everything provided for the 3 of us visiting. Very quiet neighborhood - you just have to pass through several businesses to get to the place but once you are the property, it is peaceful and quiet. Love the attention to detail, and the walkway lights were all solar powered and triggered by motion detectors and they all worked flawlessly. Check in instructions were missing in Airbnb page but a quick message to the host and I received a response immediately with the necessary information. very responsive host. Thanks for everything.
