Cabin holiday rentals in Santa Cruz

This was a wonderful stay! The home felt cozy and warm, and extremely private too. The hot tub was super easy to utilize and the bathroom was amazing as well. Super beautiful in the evening with the string lights hung up and the record player available. Had such a wonderful stay and would love to come back again if I am in the area!

Lovely place to stay. Kitchen and bathroom were modern and lovely. We Cooked every meal at the house and it was a breeze. The heated bathroom floor was a lovely bit of luxury. There is a house close by, i didn't quite realize how close, honestly it wasn't a problem at all. Heard a saxophone being played at 6am briefly..once. If you an overly private person, perhaps the other house is a bit close, but, honestly it's also fine. Overall, wonderful place to stay, we felt extremely relaxed.

Our stay at Emkay’s was magical and peaceful. He truly thought of everything and added special touches that made us feel welcome and comfortable. We spent our first day enjoying the private creek and beach area, and each night we relaxed in the hot tub before bed. I highly recommend staying here and taking in the beauty that surrounds this wonderful place. We will definitely be back!

Hands down the best Airbnb we've visited. Very secluded and gorgeous property. The property is special and well-appointed. We loved the private beach. A great getaway from the hustle and bustle. Emkay was extremely friendly and helpful. They worked very hard to make this area a great stop on the journey. The unit was small and cozy, but it had everything we needed. We'll be back again.

Had such a great time staying in the Jazmine cabin. It is quite small, but expected. There are so many things to explore and see within walking distance and food is a 5 to 10 minute drive into town (I fell in love with the small town of Soquel). Emkay and Lara were amazing hosts, it's a bonus they live on the property. Which by the way is so zen and beautiful. I can't say enough about the "beach" area, it is so peaceful. Emkay and his family were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. We took our 2 little dogs and they had a blast exploring the property. I will be back. Great place to stay! The surroundings were beautiful and very close to beaches and hiking that I was not aware of previously.

My friends and I had our first out of town girls trip at the Lavender House. We had an absolutely amazing experience! Getting to the property was fairly easy, however, the turn off to the farm stay can easily be missed- so pay attention! Toni gave us helpful directions as well. If you have a low ride car or truck, be careful as the pavement is a bit rocky! The Lavender House itself was beautiful. We had everything we needed for our trip. The kitchen was filled with amenities and the bathroom was stocked with extra toiletries! The TV has cable and regular channels, no streaming networks like Netflix. We got to walk around the property to see the various animals on the farm. There’s a map provided of the property showing all the trails you can take. Additionally, the Lavender House is close to Santa Cruz Beaches and redwoods! Toni was a helpful and communicative host! She ensured our needs were met and we are very thankful. We look forward to staying here again!

This is a charming cottage in a beautiful location. You can go back and forth to Santa Cruz (30-35 minutes) but we also enjoyed Boulder Creek and Ben Lomond. Tao’s Edo Sushi right in Boulder Creek was a great discovery. Cottage is just as pictured and everything was clean and comfortable.

Staying at this cabin nestled in the heart of a redwood grove in the Santa Cruz mountains was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn't just a place to stay — it was a carefully curated experience. The host has thought of everything to make guests feel at home and beyond comfortable. The attention to detail was incredible: high-quality toiletries, a well-stocked pantry with essentials (and then some!), soft, luxurious bedding, and even thoughtfully placed candles that added a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Every touch felt intentional and generous. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host. Incredibly accommodating, kind, and flexible — they went out of their way to ensure every one of our needs was met with care and promptness. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to hospitality. Waking up surrounded by towering redwoods, with birdsong filtering through the trees, was unforgettable.

The cabin was exactly as described;tucked away in the woods with peace and serenity. we felt welcomed and right at home. Delightful touch with the candles and also clean and accessible with no complications. We would definitely recommend this airbnb!

The home was amazing, and the surrounding areas of trees and wildlife was amazing as well. We listened to the birds in the forest and the last morning got to see five dears drinking at the stream. It was breathtaking.

I can’t say enough great things about my stay (over a month long) at Lola’s place! It was absolutely beautiful, tranquil and had a huge yard for my two dog to run around and explore. Lola was always very responsive and friendly. Great escape from the city life but only moments away from Redwood City and Menlo Park. Will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Don’t miss this rare gem!

Really enjoyed our stay!

Robin’s Nest was such a beautiful getaway! Settled in the peaceful redwood forest above Santa Cruz (I rode my bike into town, which was fun!), it was a great place to escape the bustle, but close enough to enjoy some of the city’s amenities, food and culture. The bed was comfortable, kitchen was stocked, and the front deck/yard was such a lovely place for breakfast and morning coffee. I definitely plan on coming back when I need another escape!

This place is beautiful! I plan to come back. Also, I slept like a baby. I really like how I could hear water running from the nearby river.

Definitely would recommend staying at this little cabin. It was the perfect size for two. Super comfortable and cozy all around. I loved how local stores were right around the corner from the cabin, super convenient! The location was very easy to find, navigate, and not far from other places to explore like SF, Hiking trails, Monterrey Bay, etc! Josh was super friendly when he saw us around and Kendra allowed us to have friends over. 10/10 stay overall

Absolutely perfect in every way. What a blessing to be able to spend a few days at Sunny’s oasis. Very peaceful and secluded, tons of privacy. The house is big, plenty of room to move around. Everything was spotless. Definitely 10/10!!!

Kathleen’s place was exactly right for our needs, and the cottage’s vibe really resonated with us. The cottage is really unique.And we were there touched that Kathleen even tuned the piano!!

Jon and Amanda were amazing host and super friendly. They responded really quick and were very helpful from the time we arrived until we left. Loved the scenery from the windows, the view from the patio, the lights at night look amazing, the fire place felt really cozy. Would definitely want to get that experience again at the Fuselage!

This is my 3rd time staying here, and I'm already looking forward to a 4th. It's a delightful cabin with a treehouse, nestled in the redwoods right along my favorite childhood trail. To sit out on the deck is to be in the forest. And it's a quick walk on the adjacent trails to see where Ferndell Creek becomes a waterfall, joining both Bean Creek and Zaynate Creek. If you want a quick redwood getaway, stay here, ignore Henry Cowell Redwoods, and do the Fall Creek Trail to Ridge Trail Loop instead. It's 4.2 miles, 750 elevation gain, and nearly all of it follows beautiful redwood creeks. The locals are so lucky to have this as their backyard.
