Sara’s house was a great place to stay while visiting Sao Miguel. The house was clean, well stocked, private, peaceful, and situated above the town of Maia with beautiful views down the coastline and great sunsets! Our kids loved the pool which was great to return to after doing day trips. The beds were comfy which was a plus after lots of adventuring. It was within easy driving distance of many of the key sights. Sara is a great communicator, provides lots of helpful info, and responsive to any questions. We would recommend this place to anyone while visiting the Azores!

We loved staying at Azure Sunset in Mosteiros. It was pristine with three comfortable bedrooms and a beautiful backyard pool and jacuzzi. The house is located at the end of a quiet street just off the water. The views from the backyard are splendid—the rocky coast of the Atlantic. We were able to watch gorgeous sunsets from the backyard, or walk 7 minutes to Mosteiros beach, which was so special. The house was ideally located for exploring Sete Cidades, Mosteiros beach, and the Ponte de Ferraria natural thermal pools.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this airbnb! The house itself has a gorgeous blend of family history with thoughtful and stylish renovations, the views are of course incredible and the town is beautiful if you are looking for a peaceful escape. Dino himself was also a great host - responsive and helping us with a clear intro when we first checked in. Thanks for a great stay Dino!

We can’t say enough great things about Miguel’s place. The house was perfect for our group of four—a beautiful, peaceful space to relax and recharge after long days of walking and hiking. The photos honestly don’t do it justice; it’s even more stunning in person. The sea pool is absolutely incredible—one of the highlights of our stay. We would return in a heartbeat!

One of the best Airbnbs we had so far! Extremely clean and comfortable, with great outdoor space with heated pool and cozy areas to hang out. We appreciated easy and fast communication with the management and helpful recommendations for the local restaurants. Hope to come back again!

Cleide was very sweet and welcoming. The house was very cool. The heated pool is very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Henrique was great and very helpful. the place is great, spacious, well equipped. the location is a bit on the quiet side. great if you want to calm down and relax. however, we found the east side of the island to offer more for us (food, hotsprings, hikes)

This place is amazing! We enjoyed the apartment for two weeks as our home base to explore Sao Miguel. With its location in Lagoa it is the perfect getaway from the business of Ponta Delgada but still close enough to go on early whale watching tours.. or to any direction on the island. The kitchen is very well setup - we could prepare meals on multiple days but also enjoyed the walks to the nearby restaurants.. With breakfast and dinner on the roof top terrace this place is a unique find and we will be happy to stay again! Thank you for making such a place a reality!

I have stayed at MANY airbnb’s over the years and Jorge’s property is in the top two of all (The other being in Mendocino, California). Jorge was an amazing host, the location was incredibly relaxing and beautiful, and the home was comfortable, well-stocked and clean. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this property to anyone who will be traveling to Terciera.

What a unique and beautiful home for our São Miguel trip with 6 adults and one toddler. Maria left a welcome basket for us, including a stuffie for our 3 year old! The main house was spacious and charming with a mix of old and new touches. Beds were comfy and there were multiple places to sit and relax. The grounds and view from the home are gorgeous, and the resident cat was very sweet. The house is in a more rural part of the island on a steep narrow road making it a bit tough to be easily walkable but that’s a matter of not being used to the streets. There was enough in town to meet our needs and it was easy to get everywhere. Couple notes: where the bedrooms are, there’s no insulation between the floors so be prepared to hear what’s going on below or above you. Also there was no dryer, but Maria kindly helped us set up racks and dehumidifiers to get our clothes dry. Overall an awesome spot and I highly recommend!!

We cannot say enough about how much we loved this place! The host was amazing and extremely accommodating. The house is beautiful with SPECTACULAR views. Everything was close either walkable or a short drive. Did I say that the host was amazing yet!???!!!! Bruno made our stay comfortable and relaxing. He is one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with.

We came from a quiet island in the Pacific Northwest to an even quieter island in the middle of the Atlantic: Santa Maria. Casa do Mar is at the south end of a small, quiet village in an ancient volcano crater, all looking out on one of the most incredible beaches in the world. The water is crystal clear, warm (compared to PNW in May) in hues of sapphire and turquoise. Amazing. The house is larger than the photos suggest, lots of room for two, huge bathroom, and excellent outdoor spaces. The Jacuzzi? Unbelievable. Don’t start thinking it’s a 24-jet, 40°C luxury fibreglass hot tub. It’s not. It’s so much better, and the mild temperature means you can spend tons of time floating, looking out over the infinity-edge of the jacuzzi into the endless Atlantic Ocean vista. If you don’t rent a car be prepared to hike the steep, terraced walls of the volcano crater if you want to get anywhere else on the island, or there’s a great taxi service island-wide. Oh, and Roberto? The Best Guy! Tchau!

Andre has a beautiful home and the location is amazing at the edge of the lake in Sete Cidades! The views from the livingroom, dining room and front porch were amazing of the lake and surrounding mountains! There are many hiking paths to walk to and/ or bike to and/or drive your car to. We just loved all the wood tables, countertop and carvings. Beautiful! The home was well appointed, comfortable and perfect on the lake! There is a very delicious bread kitchen to get fresh out of the oven bread. We were provided with an amazing welcoming basket of goodies that included yogurts, granola, milk, butter, local rosemary honey, local sweet rolls, local pineapple, apples, oranges, local cheese and a bottle of wine!!!! And to top it all off there are bikes and kayaks to use! Definitely recommend staying at Andre’s home!

The accommodation is very quiet and private with a beautiful and breathtaking view! There is EVERYTHING you need (coffee, well-equipped kitchen, painkillers, feminine hygiene products, etc.) We felt right at home and were able to enjoy the accommodation as well as the island to the fullest. Ricardo was very attentive, friendly and uncomplicated in communication. He gave us a lot of helpful tips (almost like a small travel guide). This helped to quickly find your way around the island :) We can definitely recommend the accommodation to everyone! :)

This wonderful house is even more lovely than it appears in photographs -- it was so comfortable and serene that we had to rouse ourselves to go out and about. The view of the sea is ever changing, and fascinating even in grey weather. Carlota and Nuno were very responsive hosts. We appreciated their thoughtful welcome basket and recommendations. We highly recommend this accommodation as a home base for visiting Terceira.

This house is in a great location for experiencing the town of Furnas. Furnas was in a good location to get around the island to see other spots too. We really appreciated the walkable location to nearby fruit shop, restaurants and the rest of town. The house has a nice size living space and comfortable bedrooms. The host was very responsive to any questions prior to and during our stay. The house comfortably fit our family of 7. We would definitely recommend this house.

We had a wonderful time with Jörg and Plonja! The reception was warm, the communication super uncomplicated. Everything was exceptionally clean - we have not experienced any other accommodation in the Azores that was so well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen are great, the outdoor area with pool, sauna and sea view is a dream. Despite the proximity of the hosts, you have full privacy. We loved the feeling of being in this rural setting. It was a 20 min drive for groceries or restaurants but that was worth it. It was a good base to explore Biscoiti, Furnas, Angra and Farol. The Dona Amelia cakes and wine our host left were a nice touch!

Vera’s place was incredible! They were super responsive, gave great reviews and even left us a bottle of wine, chocolates and a guidebook for our stay! The home is beautiful and being able to relax by the pool or lounge space outside before heading for dinner was the cherry on top! Would 100% recommend staying here

A little paradise that we actually didn't want to leave … :-) We loved watching the bats and listening to the funny concert of the cagarros from the porch every night. And Marina is a super kind and welcoming host!

Aleksandra is an amazong host. she genuinely cares about jer guests ' experience. Before amd during the trip she was excellent woth providing quock replies/communication for recommendations, details about the osland/loacation, tour companies, etc. When we had a minor issue it was quickly resolved. Sparkling clean, charming, and truly a hone a way from hone. I enjoyed the garden immensely. She greets her guests in person with warm hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at Elisabete’s home! Her communication was excellent and always timely, making check-in and our entire stay seamless. She went above and beyond with her thoughtful recommendations for places to eat and must-see spots around the island, which truly enhanced our trip. The home itself was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Plus, the location was perfect—close to everything yet peaceful. Elisabete is a fantastic host and we’d absolutely stay here again!
