Great place! Clean, comfortable and walkable. Super close to Marvão and other activities in the area. The apartment is better than the pictures and very spacious.

Thank you very much for these days at Tapada da Raia. The place is wonderful, surrounded by nature and next to an incredible vegetable garden, full of fruits and vegetables, that Zé, the guardian of the space, presented us with a lot of passion. The house offers a lot of tranquility, which made the stay very special. We made the most of the house, the pool with spring water, the barbecue and, of course, the adorable company of Black 🐴 and Loco🐶, who came from time to time to visit :) Thanks again to Zé and Henrique for this special stay!

Just blown away by our stay at Casa dos Galegos. Daniel was so friendly and helpful and the little touches he brought such as the welcome basket and sweet treats and cherries from his land during the week really made it feel extra special. The space is beautifully designed and super comfortable, inside and out, the inside has high end hotel touches while the outside is the perfect place to relax all day in such beautiful surroundings. I’m a cat lover and absolutely loved being surrounded by such happy, friendly cats mostly sleeping sweetly in any shade they can find! The surrounding area is stunning and we loved exploring all the nearby villages and popping over the border to Spain for tapas! We started most days with a hike of which there are plenty of well marked trails and perfect sized routes of 5-7km as well as longer ones for the more adventurous (and less hot days!!) The homestead is truly an ex-libris from the Marvão region. Those who seek tranquility with all comfort and wrapped in the magic of the climate of the Serra do Alentejo, here you can enjoy an unparalleled peace. The house is super comfortable, well equipped and with all the requirements met to spend a few days with family or friends. The very spacious bedrooms all with well-equipped living room and kitchen, an unobstructed outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a generous pool always useful on hot days. All this in the middle of many fruit trees and with the mountains serving as a postcard. With regard to the hostess, Inês, was always very kind, worried that we would feel at home and always ready to help with any questions. Definitely an experience to repeat.
