The property has its own private dock accessible for personal motor boat use and is equipped with a Canoe, 2 Kayaks, and Pedal Boat for guest use! 5 mins to Downtown Saranac Lake and 20 mins to Lake Placid. Dog friendly, with over two acres of land!

The Olive Branch

We are located 100 yards from the downtown area, and 300 yards from Lake Flower, but in a nice residential spot. We grow our own food in our front yard and on our large porch. House is over 100 years old, comfortably furnished. Style is "Early American Garage Sale." Very close to canoe and kayak rentals, and minutes away from 3 boat launches and boat rentals. 1 block from new Adirondack RAIL TRAIL. Your hosts were involved in eco-tourism for many years and can provide a wealth of information.

A 1880’s farmhouse with all the modern amenities yet keeping the charm. It is between Lake Placid (5 miles) and Saranac Lake (4.5 miles) in North Elba’s tiny hamlet of Ray Brook. It has a fenced in yard with room to play and a back deck to watch it all happen. We allow 2 small or 1 medium ( 20 to 40 lbs; 15 to 20 inches tall) well behaved, fully vaccinated, house trained dog.s. Close to all North Country activities, she is one mile to Saranac Lake and a 10 minute drive to Lake Placid. Or just stay at the lake and enjoy the porch and community HOA's lakeside property. F/Q bed with pullout sofa for an additional guest. Drapes for bath privacy. It's cozy. Marcy is a respite for all.

Sunset Cottage is cleaned in compliance with CDC COVID-19 Lodging cleaning standards before you vacation there. Sunset Cottage is only 15 feet from Tupper Lake with a sandy spot for launching canoes/kayaks and a large dock where you can moor your powerboat if you bring one. Dock seating and swimming with a dog friendly stair. Fire pit with firewood on the lawn with Adirondack chairs for your use. Two, kayaks come with the rental. Newly renovated interior with beautiful Adirondack decor.

Village Cottage-Walk to Downtown/Rail Trail

Very cute cottage is within walking distance to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, the rail trail and nightlife. Good side yard with outdoor furniture. Enclosed porch for rainy days. Huge soaking tub. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We do not charge a pet fee but will charge for any damages incurred. This is a cottage next to where we live. We are self check in but you may run into us.

Third floor non smoking apartment . The kitchenette contains a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster oven,Keurig coffee maker. Private bathroom, off street parking for one vehicle only. Additional vehicles must be parked in the village lot. Walk to downtown,10 miles to Lake Placid, plenty of outdoor recreation such as hiking and kayaking nearby. Access to the Adirondack Rail Trail is nearby. This space is suitable for three people comfortably. There is 1 Full sized bed and 1 twin bed.

Waterfront Loft

This private guest space in the second floor of our garage has it's own entrance, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom in a very convenient location. We are 5 minutes from Saranac Lake, 10 Minutes from Lake Placid, and 25 minutes from Whiteface. Located on a peninsula of Oseetah Lake, we have waterfront access perfect for ice skating, snowshoeing and XC skiing in the winter right from our doorstep. The lake offers sweeping views of Ampersand and the surrounding mountains.
