John's place is the perfect place. it is 2nd row and you have a view of the ocean. A perfect porch to sit and drink coffee in the morning, a glass of wine at night, or just to sit and listen to the waves. You have a very short walk to the beach! The house is great, has great space, very clean, and there was great space around the houses so you didn't feel on top of other guests. My teens enjoyed the TVs for the evenings. It is walking distance to a restaurant, ice cream shop, and 10 min from coffee or souvenirs!! perfect location!! We will be back!!

The house was super clean and had everything you would need as far as amenities. Loved the fact there was NOT a thousand stairs to climb especially with coolers etc. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and family and they are great people, very caring to your needs. He even gave us some fresh fish tacos that a family member had caught.. Yum We found the beach is easiest if driving to it (about 3 min) to carry canopy, cooler etc. You need to purchase a beach sticker at the local store. $15 for a day or $30 for the year. For us, it was to far to walk to. There is a golf cart rental very convenient right next door which is great and the small business in not annoying with traffic or loud noises..Its nice and quiet place, love the blackout curtains. Best of all they provide a filtered water cooler so you don't have to drag bottled water!!! Fenced in yard was also a plus with dogs..Cold ac! Small charcoal grill (they provided charcoal and liter fluid). Queen bed was comfortable.

Great location just down from the beach and the jetty. Large covered upstairs patio with comfortable seating which was handy on the one rainy day that we had while we were there so we could still sit outside.

My daughter and I enjoyed The Gem. We loved the home. The beach was very peaceful. We are hoping to make it an annual trip. My daughter and her friends enjoyed using the beach toys and board games. I was so happy I could bring my pups. This was the first vacation without my late husband and just my girl so having all the “extras” really helped me. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay.

We had the best location and cleanest house for our Surfside Beach vacation. We were able to load up the truck with our beach stuff and drive just down the road to the beach and set up. It doesn’t get any better than that. The house had everything we needed from games to the ocean view and sounds were amazing. Ben was responsive with every request we had and he made our visit worry free. Thankful we found it and look forward to going back again!

This is a great beach house, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The view of the Gulf is amazing. Sitting on the porch with a good book and listening to the waves was one of the best parts of the stay. We were there for about 10 days, and by day 5, we were walking barefoot straight from the house to the beach. The house has a fenced yard, which a lot of homes in the area don’t. If you’ve got small kids or pets, that makes a big difference.

Jessica’s place was the perfect place for our vacation! The place is beautiful and had everything we needed. The pool was the perfect touch & we enjoyed fishing off the pier. The outdoor day bed was so relaxing with a beautiful view. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Jessica was very responsive and accommodating! We would definitely stay again.

This home is perfectly located, right on ICWW, and steps from the ocean. It’s nice watching the barges and sunsets (absolutely beautiful) in the evenings, and having coffee and watching dolphins from the front deck in the mornings (though my kids said they’re actually porpoises). The boys enjoyed fishing off the pier, doing cannonballs in the pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. Kitchen utensils, pots, pans, cutting boards, cookie sheets…. Fully stocked. I liked the location of this home being near the corkscrew bridge, it’s much easier and accesible to go to and from restaurants and shopping. Also, the front and back decks have a gate that will close and lock, so if you have a dog it’s really helpful. It’s a quiet area, not busy, near public beach…. Just a few folks fishing, relaxing, and birdwatching. Thank you Fuller Family for opening your lovely beach house.

Great beachside house with pool! If you want the salty air and ample sleeping space, but are more fulfilled swimming in clear water and going to the beach between this is a spot!

Great place clean. Really nice furniture large TV. Great kitchen lots of pots. Lots of clean bathrooms comfortable beds. Really nice spot. Well worth the trip.

Matthew’s place was perfect! My friend’s and I stayed there for our annual girl’s weekend. The place was a perfect location, the pool was clean, the house was clean, and the fencing around the place gave us privacy. We also loved the extra bedroom and kitchen downstairs; that was a perfect touch. I highly recommend staying at this house and would certainly book it again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay, the home was just like the pictures, extremely clean! You don't have to go anywhere we stayed at the house the entire time and it was so relaxing. We traveled with little ones and it was a very kid friendly home! Kandas was super responsive! if you forget anything there is a dollar general near by that has everything!We are definitely coming back!

I would 100% recommend this house. It was very cute, spacious, had everything we needed. The hosts was very responsive and helpful. The pool was great and occupied all of the kids for hours. I enjoyed being on the River and being able to see the beach at the same time. I look forward to another weekend here.

The beach house was extremely nice inside and out it had an excellent Pierre with fishing lights that work well but overall it was a good day I recommend it to anybody trying to get away and have a good time.

We decided to take a beach trip for my daughter’s birthday, and I came across this house when I was looking for a place to go. We have always liked smaller fishing communities near the beach. This was our first time trying out Sargent. I loved that the house was on a boat channel and we could fish right off of the dock. They also had a couple of crab traps. We had SO much fun catching blue crab and caught several large keepers! Mike, kept in contact and was very accommodating with anything that we needed. He also had great suggestions on what they caught the crab with and the seasoning they liked to use in the cabinet to cook them! The house was clean and as described. There were a lot of different seasonings in the cabinet and extra shampoos and soaps they left for us in the bathroom which was a nice surprise. We were very pleased with the house and enjoyed our time spent there as a family. Looking forward to our next visit!

I booked this house as a graduation gift for my husband so he could go fishing with his buddies, and it couldn't have been better! Not a single complaint from the group—the guys absolutely loved it. They had a great time relaxing, hanging out, and enjoying the space. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and most importantly, they all slept comfortably. The location was perfect—close to the fishing, food, and fun. Thanks again for helping make their trip one they’ll never forget!

The place was clean and very easy to get to. It was only a short drive from everywhere we needed to go! Very quiet and just what we needed for a mini vacation!

The house was great. Downstairs bunk room was perfect for kids. Parking, patio and dock were all great! We brought supplies but the house was very well stocked with anything we forgot!

This was a great alternative instead of overnight camping in a tent. Great for an overnight get away. Had so much fun relaxing around the firepit. We will definitely consider renting again!

We stayed here a few years ago when the house was new, and we tried again last year but a hurricane came the week of our trip, unfortunately. I am happy we were able to come back this year. The house was just as perfect as the first trip when it was new. Danielle is very responsive and gave us all the information we needed to make it a great vacation and a hassle free trip again. The house is very clean and had everything that we needed.
