Family-friendly holiday rentals in Saronic Islands

If I could give Andreas more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. From the moment we booked, his communication was outstanding. He proactively reached out and helped us navigate a taxi strike on our arrival day, ensuring a smooth start to our trip. He personally welcomed us and shared thoughtful recommendations — every restaurant, whether off the beaten path or near the main sites, was exactly what we were looking for. Andreas went above and beyond by helping us make all our dinner reservations and making sure we felt completely taken care of by periodically checking in throughout our stay His apartment is immaculately clean, with a peaceful outdoor space where we enjoyed morning espresso and birdsongs — the perfect start to our days. The location was ideal: close to everything we wanted to see, but tucked away enough that it felt calm and relaxed. This was one of our best Airbnb stays ever, thanks to Andrea’s hospitality, attention to detail, and warmth. Don’t hesitate — book now.

A real lovely place to stay — feels lived in with some real unique pieces! Walking distance to a few eateries and cafes, as well as to the metro and to Philopappos hill. Pretty convenient location. Thank you for having us!

The place was large, spacious, clean, and safe. Great area with easy walk to pretty much everything. Theo was very responsive. The rules were not overwhelming and very reasonable. I think if you’re in Athens for a few days with more than 2 people this place is definitely it!

Anna and Teo were very responsive and helpful, especially with a tour guide and pickup at the port and drop off at the airport. Very nice to provide little snack and drink gifts too. Perfect location - close to everything.

By far, this was the most pleasant experience my family has ever had at a vacation rental. As an airbnb host myself, I didn't realize how much a host can improve the quality of the trip! Not only was this home everything and more that you expect from the beautiful listing, but the host's whole family came together to create a memorable and once in a lifetime experience for my family. We were so touched by their friendliness, generosity, and hospitality. The home itself was much bigger than I expected, with 5 separate bedrooms with stunning water views. The town of Lavrio is just a 5 minute drive away and is the cutest town to buy fresh fruit and veggies, as well as fresh caught fish. We also had the best iced coffee from the different cafes in town. We stayed for 5 nights, and enjoyed just the right amount of touristy attractions and beach lounging. We are so thankful for the opportunity to have stayed here!

We had a great time. Everything was super smooth. Communication excellent and clear, check-in no problem. The location is unbeatable in Athens. Everything walking distance, fantastic food places all around. Would come back anytime!

Absolutely stunning. The view from the apartment is second to none, and looks even better in real life compared to the photos. Within walking distance of many great attractions and restaurants. Quick to reply. All in all superb experience.

Leah's apartment was perfect. Just a 3 to 4 minute walk to the metro and 5 to 6 stops to downtown Athens. It was exactly as described and pictures were accurate. She was quick to respond to all of my messages. I didn't have any Euros on me yet and she drove me to a bank to use the ATM. She then drove me around the neighborhood and showed me her favorite places to eat and get coffee. We ate at a few or ordered in. There is also a cute bakery near the metro. The house does smell like cigarettes but that didn't bother us. If you have asthma this might affect your stay. This is Leah's personal home, which I liked due to her making extra money and not supporting a company who buys up properties and forces locals out of home ownership. If we ever make it back to Athens we would 100% stay here again. Thanks again Leah for a great stay!

The views from this place alone justify the booking. In one direction is Palamidi and the other is a mountain sunset. Stunning views from a humongous balcony. The home had everything necessary, including convenient cooking wares. Everything in town is easily within walking distance. We loved the place and would definitely book again.

I had a wonderful stay at Souzanna’s apartment! They were very accomodating with my late check in time, and met me on arrival, where I was given the full house tour. I loved that they had music playing when I arrived so it already felt like home. The place is bigger than I expected, with interesting decorations all around the flat, there would be an item of interest for everyone to find. Very comfy couch. There were ear plugs provided which was helpful as it’s on street level. Would definitely stay here again!

We only stayed at Κατερινα’s guest home for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was exactly as pictured/described, and the home was adorable and comfortable. We had no issues finding it with Κατερινα’s instructions and it was also within walking distance to some amazing restaurants as well as the temple of Apollo! She was kind enough to leave breakfast foods/jams that were not only delicious, but so convenient to have before a busy day exploring the ancient sites. We were lucky enough to meet Κατερινα a few times when coming and going and she was so so kind. I have no bad things to say about this little home - if it is available, you must stay there!!

The arrival in Athens to this area was eye-opening. We were on/near a busy street and there were restaurants down below. What was the surprise? No noise! We felt like we were home but with all the amenities outside we could walk to. Tried several of the nearby restaurants, walked to pharmacy and shopping. This place is so perfect I made a note to stay here again. And I never repeat a place! So excited to go back to be welcomed by Haidi’s perfectly clean, perfectly location apartment!

Ioannis’ apartment was the perfect place for our stay on Hydra. The apartment is very well located just off one of the main streets up from the harbour. It was spotless and well equipped, with everything we could possibly need during our stay including basic cooking essentials and even a few toiletries. It has AC and fans to keep you cool, and has a little courtyard to sit out in with a beautiful lemon tree (and a talkative cat). What really made the stay special was Ioannis’ hospitality. He met us at the harbour with Penelope the donkey, who carried our bags up to the house. He showed us the best supermarket and ATMs to use on the island and talked us through how everything worked in the house. He smiled and waved when we saw him around town during the week, and then met us on the last day to carry our bags back down, even bringing a little present with him for us to use. The whole experience was fantastic, and we’ll be recommending the house to our family and friends!

Livin apt is well located in between the city centre and the nice Mets area with lots of bars and restaurants. While on a big street, there is no noise (the bedrooms are located at the back of the apt). The bathroom and toilet are small, but practical. With 3 people it felt very spacious, I would say over 4 would become a bit tights. We we're particularly happy with the great communication as we booked on the day of the arrival and the check-in was exceptionally smooth.

What a wonderful place to stay with such beautiful hosts! The place is so charming and Froso is so caring and thoughtful. The close proximity to the city centre is perfect yet you feel nicely secluded away from the hustle and bustle. I recommend this place so highly!

This home was so beautiful! It was a perfect size for our family of 8 (4 adults, 4 children). The views could not be better. The pools were great, we spent a lot of time in them. The beach is a short walk. There is a restaurant down the road we ate at multiple times with fresh fish daily, or you can drive a short 25 minutes into town for many restaurants and grocery stores. The hosts were very responsive, house was very clean, comfortable beds. Overall an amazing stay and we would highly recommend!

The purpose of our trip was to attend a concert at the Lycabettus Theatre. We didn’t expect the apartment to be as perfect as it was! The apartment is clean, trendy, cool from the air con and the private pool was just the best!!! We loved the area, with it being slightly out the way from city centre. Kolanaki has so much hidden gems with great food spots! Thank you for having us X

An absolutely magnificent place! Hard to imagine that you can find a place like this in a large city! It was a short walk from restaurants, supermarket and the metro. Rooftop pool with great privacy was wonderful on hot days and also swimming at night with the city lights in the background. Rooftop terrace was overlooking the city and with views to Lycabettus hill and nature on the other side. On many evenings we ordered food in and ate at the rooftop terrace. We were a group of six and could not have been more pleased with our stay. Dimitris was very helpful and a great host!

There were 13 of us as a family in the accommodation. Overall, everything was great and we were able to spend very nice days in the villa. The only points we noticed: - No key for the bathroom on the ground floor and upper floor. We also had guests there and with so many people it was unpleasant. The host himself only noticed this when we checked in. The last visitors were held responsible for many defects. But nothing that we found to be a shame was replaced or repaired. - Sometimes there were problems with the hot water for the shower after midnight. Even after trying for a long time, there was no warm water at night and we had to wait until morning. This was not so optimal, as there were so many of us and I wanted to get ready for my wedding in the evening. - We had 2 baby beds, but the mattress was missing for one and we did not get a replacement. Otherwise, everything was great and we would recommend the villa.

We loved the private location, very peaceful by the pool, lots of sitting areas in the shade or sun. Plenty of pool items and kids stuff, loved the playground and trampoline. Turtles wonder the property. Beautiful views. As described it’s at the top of a hill, 15 min walk down. Groceries can be driven up by the sellers. Food can be delivered. Taxis we found worked easily with Uber taxi. Lots of entertainment tv, DVDs, etc we didn’t use but they’re there. : ) Overall we loved it, and Thanos was a helpful and communicative host. He has a good manual with lots of suggestions to make your stay easy to plan!

The home was exactly as described and was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own room. The property has stunning views and is very private and secluded. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend to others visiting Nafplio!

It’s hard to decide which is nicer: the apartment, the sea views or the owners. All are excellent. We were staggered at how lavishly Artemis had laid on groceries for us for when we arrived. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean and well appointed. The AC units in every room work really well, and the netting on the windows kept unwanted bugs to a minimum. The pool is kept spotlessly clean as a matter of honour and (warranted) pride by Illyrios. The showers in the bathrooms are powerful and have plenty of hot water. The fridge-freezer is spacious and works well, as do the other quality appliances such as washing machine, kettle and microwave. The views are soothing and the area quiet. The hosts live downstairs and are very respectful of guests’ privacy whilst at the same time being available to give help or any extras you might want in the kitchen. The beds are comfy and the linen spotless. Location is great if you have a car. Don’t give it a second thought: just come!
