Old, cozy cottage in the countryside, yet close to everything

Next to Hjälstaviken's nature reserve is this cottage, which is a wing building to Husby-Sjutolft's vicarage. Parts of the house are probably from the 1700s. The house is 60 square meters with two rooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom with shower. You live next door to the host family, but have your own "backside" with a balcony down the afternoon and evening sun and views of the agricultural landscape. In the area, there are nice walking paths and trails around Hjälstaviken, at Ekolsund Castle and in the forests around. Grocery store is within 10 km.

It is a beautiful environment where you can take a walk, a bike ride or swim in Lake Mälaren. Magasinet is separate from the host's home, with its own driveway. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet, or visit all the exciting sights in Mariefred or Strängnäs.

Your own private bathroom with shower is not located in the cottage. it is 10 steps away in the basement of our main house. Works as a self-catering for a long time, but also if you just want to stay overnight. Lea's basement is tastefully decorated with high ceilings, fireplace, kitchenette, toilet and shower. There is a double bed (160 cm and a day bed for two. There is also WiFi and a screen with Chromecast.

The cottage is located on our farm with nature around the corner, in the middle of a historic environment, eight minutes by car from the city center and with off-road trails for hiking, running or MTB biking outside the door. In the yard, besides us, there is a dog and two cats. In summer, there is a trampoline, board games in the garden and a small barbecue and patio in a pergola.
