Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sault Ste. Marie

House was as described and the host put lots of thought into the little things. Very well stocked and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Centrally located for day trips. Sandy beach very close. Had a great time and would stay here again.

Overall great stay. Pet friendly and there is an enclosed backyard. Gregory had hired someone to shovel/plow snow, but they came quite early in the morning, which was unavoidable, but something to consider in the winter and you have young children or have brought along a dog.

Pamela's place is a great place to stay. Accommodations are as advertised and she was wonderful and very friendly. The place is very clean and has all the conveniences. I would highly recommend her place.

This was perfect and met our needs exactly. Our sons played hockey in the MAHA tournament at LSSU. It was walking distance to everything. Very close to town and campus.

This is the most fully equipped kitchen we have seen in all our Airbnb's so far. We were able to cook the basics with simple seasonings and commonly used sauces on hand. Everything I needed to do some home baking for our son while we visited him at college. Very clean, beds were comfortable, instructions were well laid out and easy to follow. This place was exactly what we needed as a home base to spend time with our very busy aviation student between his classes and flights.

I've been coming to Howard's cabin with friends for 5 years now. The place is always great and Howard is very helpful! We hope to be back again next year!

I have stayed at alot of air bnb’s since I travel for work and I can truly say this was one of my favourite places if not my favourite place! The house is beautiful and has everything that you could ever need while staying out of town. They covered and thought of everything. I will be back to the area and this will be my first choice if available.

The house is everything as he describes it. it was nice to be there and have space and be comfortable. Lots of bedroom space , all rooms were nice and clean, with little ones we worried about things upside down. It was also nice that the kitchen has everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Krista's place. She provided us with recommendations via messages for great places to ski, and the apartment had a comprehensive list of suggestions as well. My wife and I cooked one or two meals every day, and the kitchen was fantastic to work in. The bed was comfortable, and the living room was spacious, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We loved walking around downtown Sault Ste. Marie, especially Queen St., where we found many after-Christmas bargains at various shops. We also dined at several restaurants within walking distance, which was very convenient. Overall, Krista’s place made our trip memorable, and we would definitely stay here again.

Our stay here was great! The place is as advertised, clean, comfy, and well equipped. There is a great sun porch for enjoying views of the lake. Location is perfect as it’s a short walk to ferries and restaurants. We would definitely recommend Bridget’s place and stay again!

This AirBnB can be a bit unusual from other places I’ve stayed. The exterior photo shows a plain building but the studio is just the opposite. When booking this place be sure to look at the interior photos. It is extremely clean, very new and very well equipped. It is a tiny studio but has everything needed in the kitchen for your stay. The bathroom is large and spotless. If you’re looking for a private place this is it. I recommend this place and would stay here again on my next visit.

It was a great second time I’ve stayed here. If I have one complaint it is that the couch is uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time.

Our 2nd visit was just as wonderful as our first, 34 years ago! Cedarwood Condos were a great location for us; the bicycles were the best secret; we used them every day! It was wonderful to be close to Stonecliffe and all the amenities; as well as a quick ride downtown for the day/afternoon. Such a jewel on Mackinac Island!

Great little place with a killer view. Far enough away from the crowds but close enough to get into the fun easily as well. Would highly recommend renting the bikes. They're a great price and makes travel easy.

Had a great stay at the condo! Was there for a friends wedding at the Stonecliff, and this was literally around the corner from there. The area is so beautiful, we just ended up staying around the hotel instead of going downtown. Patrick is really responsive, and even help me late at night to get back in when I locked myself out. The place was as is and overall would stay again if I stayed on the island.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Condos. It was quiet and away from the busy Main Street area. It is next to the Inn at Stone Cliffe so there were a few options for eating. However we were disappointed that the Inn would not rent us bikes since we were not staying there. You would need to get a taxi or walk the 2 miles to Main Street if you want to rent bikes. We loved the view off the balcony and the bed was comfortable!

This place was absolutely beautiful! It was such a great place to have a peaceful get away. The hosts were very helpful and proactive and they were just so slay!!! i would absolutely stay here again, if i dont buy it from them first!! 😂😂

Fantastic spot! Lots of room. You’d think being above a storefront it’d be noisy. It’s not! Store is opened limited hours, and you wouldn’t even know it was there. Plenty of privacy, plenty of space! The view of the water is amazing. Practically walking distance to the Mackinac Ferry that will take you to the island. Hands down, would ONLY stay HERE on our next trip to the area!
