Cabin holiday rentals in Savonlinna

Everything went as expected, a beautiful and clean place where it was nice to relax. Of course, we expected to have been able to do outdoor activities, but the beautiful outdoor terrain worked just as well!

Harri's chalet is very well equipped. We didn't miss a thing. As stated in the listing, towels, kitchen towels and sheets are not provided. We had therefore planned this in our suitcases. The environment is very pleasant and quiet. A perfect view of the lake! We even had the chance to see a moose, a magical moment! A car is essential to access the stores. For example, Savonlinna is about 50 km away. The only negative point was the cleanliness on arrival, requiring cleaning before we settled in. Harri was very understanding on this subject. We still recommend it because we had a very good stay.

Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings. Just a passport for our party for its size and location. Lovely steam in the sauna when it's warming up properly. The hot tub was enjoyed in the moonlight. Very smooth and flexible communication with the host. Thanks!

If you're out for modern pampering, this is not for you.But if you want ti be alone by the lake, without a shower and regular toilet, but wit a row boat, wood fired sauna and hot tub, compost toilets (but also electricity, full kitchen, cellular coverage and tv) and most if all the amazing beauty around (incl. mosquitoes) memorable, then definitely go fir it. we had a wonderful time.

A gorgeous cabin in such a beautiful spot. We have never seen such beautiful sunsets and have never felt so calm and at one with nature. Would absolutely love to stay again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for large groups. The place felt brand new, and the view of the lake was simply breathtaking. The BBQ area was the best we’ve ever had at a cottage, and we loved having a pool table to enjoy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lake itself was large and beautiful, and rowing there was an unforgettable experience. The hot tub and sauna were also fantastic additions. Highly recommend!

This house is what you want for yourself. Kari has created a really beautiful place for himself and his family. Everything you needed was really there.

Everything was provided for us to have a chill weekend there. Nice bbq place and cozy living room. We enjoyed our stay there.

A peaceful place in the heart of nature by the lake. Wood-fired sauna, ready-made rafts, a large dock and a magnificent lake. The persimmon was blooming and the cuckoos were announcing themselves. The wren lived in a birdhouse. I would have liked to stay longer.

we spent one week in Ville's cottage and It was wonderful. in case of small issue Ville responded immediatly and his father came and fixed It. so we just had to care about hiking, cycling, rowing, fishing, swimming and having sauna.

We stayed at the cottage to do outdoor activities and the location was excellent. The cottage had magnificent views of the Puumala bridge at sunset. Very cozy and comfortable cottage.

A little slice of heaven this one! Just THE perfect place to relax. The cabin has everything you need (and more!) and is presented beautifully. Sadly, we were only staying for one night but managed to pack in rowing the boat, a sauna & a sunset swim in the beautiful lake. Veera was a great host, responsive and friendly. Would recommend very highly!

Good price and nice place.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

Lovely little cottage to spend a romantic weekend. Great sauna with easy access to swimming, comfortable bed for two, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We'll be back.

The place is lovely, felt very warm and cozy. Next time we would book it for a longer duration :)

A lovely cottage house, fully equipped with really everything you need. It’s a very peaceful place in the forest, ten minutes walk to the golf club house. The lake with sand beach is about a minute to walk, and it was our biggest pleasure to jump from the sauna to the lake. We found many mushrooms and berries in the near surrounding. If you love nature, if you want to feel and listen to the silence and peace, you’re here on the right place. We all fell in love with the cottage and its surrounding and we will come back for sure next year.

The cottage and its equipment matched the description. The place was picturesque and peaceful, with good steam in the sauna, and a great view of the lake as a bonus. In beautiful weather, we spent time outdoors and dining on the deck.

My family had an amazing weekend getaway at Elena's cottage by the lake. The house is beautiful and had all the amentities we needed and more. The natural surrounding are beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful. We would definately stay here again!
