Lakefront log cottage, peaceful location w/ sauna

Experience the true traditional Finnish lake cottage life. This log cottage was built in the 1800's with hand carved logs. It is located on a beautiful lake shore with fantastic views. Here you can enjoy nature and total silence and peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. Peaceful Finnish cottage in the heartland of Saimaa, only 11 kms away from the town centre of Savonlinna. You can enjoy total serenity and swim on a private beach. The compact house has a fold-out sofa downstairs and two beds upstairs. A spacious sauna is a joy to relax in and has washing amenities. A large terrace has a barbecue grill and a dining table, where you can enjoy stunning views of the lake while enjoying your food. The outhouse is situated next to the main building.

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.
