Beachfront holiday rental in Scalea

Spacious and clean apartment with very comfortable parking inside the property. Outdoor space in the garden reserved for the apartment with tables, chairs for eating and comfortable deckchairs with sea view. Donato and his mother were very kind, I asked to be able to check in early and there were no problems. Great location to reach the beach on foot in just a few minutes. Super Recommended.

Chiara's place is perfect for discovering Sapri but also the surroundings. At check-in, Chiara gave me all the information to proceed on her own (she had an unexpected situation) and made herself available for every need. The apartment is extremely cool so you don't feel the lack of air conditioning, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need and has brand new appliances; the bathroom is also new, with all the comforts. Finally, the private parking spot is really a convenience to the property. Overall it was a good stay and Chiara is really a hospitable host

We really enjoyed staying at Villa Venezuela. Sandro checked on us during our stay and also left us a welcome basket which was very kind and appreciated. From the covered balcony you can see the mountains with an unobstructed view of the Maratea Christ Redeemer Statue and on the other side are beautiful sea views. The sunsets are spectacular! The villa is within walking distance (280 m) to a great little coffee shop, Amadeus Lounge Bar, where we had an aperitif and cappuccino. The road is busy but we were not too bothered by it. The house is large and comfortably appointed. We did go to Fiumicello Beach and the Marina but unlike other reviewers we would not recommend walking to either. The roads are very narrow, without sidewalks and are quite busy with traffic and busses. Both had free parking available. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect! This place was a serene getaway right on the beautiful Tyrrhenian Sea. Upon arrival, the house was just as described and photographed with plenty of private en suite bathrooms and lots of open common space. The kitchen was well-equipped (and stocked with some delicious surprises) making it easy to serve a group of 10+. The bedrooms were clean and spacious with beautiful lighting and some had ocean views. Nicola was super friendly and flexible with arrival time. He came to let us in and give us a full tour to make sure we knew how every amenity functioned, including the espresso machine. The house was very clean. The couches and beds were comfortable. The size and layout of the house make it very comfortable for large families or groups to use while maintaining individual or couple privacy. Our group of 10 will definitely be back! Fantastic place - matches pictures exactly. The view is one of the best we've seen in the whole area, makes you regret going out to dinner instead of sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. The access to the sea is directly underneath and fairly easy - you have to climb over a few rocks at the bottom, but it's fun and sand-free. Water is crystal clear and snorkeling is nice on either side, lots of boats stop in the area to take in the beauty. The house itself is excellent, full of well-working AC units. Cleaned exceptionally well, there are lots of small touches that make it very charming, an excellent patio. Kitchen very functional and pretty. The garage below is large and handy with a car. The car access to the neighborhood is pretty narrow/steep, fine with some practice, but could be tricky for Americans. If renting a car, recommend at least a moderately powerful model to make the exit smoother. Host was wonderful and responsive.

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom beach house located directly on a perfect sandy beach with sunset views and calm warm water for swimming. Great wifi, Netflix TV Fantastic well furnished patio for dining and sunbathing, relaxing, with a great outdoor hot shower, BBQ, umbrellas etc. Viviana is a lovely host who made sure we had everything we needed, her welcome pizza and snacks were much appreciated as were her great restaurant recommendations. the nearby ruins were worth the visit and dining options in Bellevedere and Diamante are plentiful . we were 4 adults who loved our week at Vivianas Beach house

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, a ventilated terrace from where you can admire the sea. 200 Mt is the beach and a great Sicilian bakery The owner is kind and thoughtful Tip: The wifi since the connection does not always work in the area

We were welcomed on our arrival, even though we were late due to the means of transport. The house is as described. The stay was excellent and they were always ready to respond in case of need. Super recommended!

Giulia and Guido (the caretaker) are available and present if needed. The accommodation matches the description, in fact there is even more!! In the house there is everything you need to eat, dishwasher, washing machine and clothesline. The sea view apartment offers beautiful sunsets and there is the possibility of walking there through the beautiful olive garden that surrounds the residence of the residence. There is also a beautiful swimming pool with a lifeguard always present! Quiet and beautiful place to enjoy a little well-deserved relaxation!! I highly recommend it with the hope of coming back soon!!!☀️

Two days of absolute relaxation with the family We spent two days surrounded by greenery and the beauty of this villa with a breathtaking sea view, corners of the house to fully enjoy every relaxation. We were welcomed by Marzio and his family and made us feel like part of it. We'll be back soon to this magnificent property

Apartment on two floors complete with everything you need located inside a residence with a pool, excellent communication as the host is on site. Downtown Scalea is a couple of minutes away by car. Recommended

We had a pleasant stay. The apartment is as described in the listing, equipped with everything you need and very clean. The sea view from the balcony is awesome. The noise from the street and the railway was somewhat disturbing.

We spent a week in August at Villa Florio in Maratea and were extremely satisfied. The house is very nice, well divided and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The outdoor spaces are immersed in a well-kept green area, with a beautiful holm oak in the south. Here, you can enjoy breakfast from the sea or relax in the sun in total privacy, all accompanied by an enchanting view of the Gulf of Policastro and breathtaking sunsets. We highly recommend Villa Florio not only for the beauty and uniqueness of the place, but also for the kindness and hospitality of Maria Teresa and her partner, who made our stay even more special. Maratea and Basilicata are lovely places, and this villa is the perfect starting point to discover them.

We spent an unforgettable week in Marina's apartment. This may be the best place to live if you want to relax in Scalea. The apartment has a wonderful terrace with a view of the old town. Breakfast will be remembered for it at all times. There is also a grill on the terrace, where you can cook fresh fish for dinner. The house has very fast internet, the kitchen has everything you might need for cooking. we were leaving with tears, so we didn't want to leave this place.

We loved our stay at Home Sweet Home—the garden and views are incredible, and it was a charming place overall. Although the gate was initially stuck so we couldn’t get in to the property, Barbara was very responsive and had it fixed quickly. The spiral staircase upstairs and the low ceiling in the bedroom are challenging to navigate, but young/healthy people shouldn’t have a problem in the space. The amenities with constant hot water and heat were fantastic during this off-season. The walk to the Porto is extremely convenient, and we really enjoyed how quiet and private the space felt. It really seemed like we found a hidden gem in Maratea, and we hope it continues to be special and somewhat of a secret!

Gennaro's place was a true gem, we stayed for almost a week and felt right at home! the place is spacious, clean, recently renovated and has everything needed for a family vacation. Sapri is really peaceful and small, so everything is within 5-10 min walk. Gennaro was friendly, responsive and proactive and gave us local tips! Thanks Gennaro!

Rossella, the host, is very kind and always available. The apartment is very nice, much more than in photos. The area is beautiful, quiet and perfect for walking in the harbor area, close to many restaurants. I highly recommend having a car or other means of transportation just to enjoy the area due to lack of public transportation outside of July and August.

The stay exceeded all expectations. The location couldn’t have been more ideal and being just a few steps from the beach was amazing. This is the spot to choose if you are looking to get away from other foreign tourists and was very authentic (I think we were the only foreign tourists in town). The hosts were very welcoming and responsive (assisted with coordinating transport, provided recommendations and went above and beyond). Villammare is a short walk up the road and had great pizzerias and gelaterias. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all of the necessary cookware, in case you want to stay-in for the night. The semi-private beach was shared with several other seaside residences, mostly families, making it a calm and relaxing place to hang out and swim.

Spacious, clean and well equipped accommodation right in the centre of Praia a Mare. Close to good restaurants and bars. Floriana was specially helpful and concerned that we enjoyed our stay.
