Such a beautiful part of the country. Perfect base for exploring on foot… with some great pubs within walking distance. We visited the Alma Inn - great food, beers and views. We also took the time to explore Mill Bank - there are many info boards as you walk around the village to help you learn of its history - past and more recent. Who would have known Big Daddy was brought up here. The property itself is compact, but has everything you need for a short break. Generally extremely quiet.

The cottage was cosy and homely, with super cute and thoughtful interior touches throughout. It’s in a great location, perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, Leeds, York and more, all within easy driving distance. Also dog-friendly, with beautiful walks right from the doorstep and a warm, welcoming local community. All in all, a great stay. Would definitely recommend!

Had a lovely two night stay great location only a short walk into Marsden and the station as we had a concert in Huddersfield on the Saturday night, following day we did a walk across Marsden moor lovely scenery quite challenging in places and breezy on the top, Railway pub in Marsden great for a drink had a lovely meal at the Olive Branch only a short drive out of Marsden David’s place is opposite the Standege Tunnel definitely worth a visit he even allowed us to check in earlier than we had planned which was great.

Had a great stay in this immaculately modernised and comfortable apartment on the edge of a cute village. Well placed for lovely drives and walks. Everything you could need is provided, including a very well stocked kitchen, an excellent welcome guide and a few provisions. Andrea was very helpful with instructions on the location and parking and although we didn't need her help during our stay, we felt that we could contact her anytime. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
