Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Schoorl

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We were traveling by bike and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly hostess. Thank you very much for this great start to the day. We felt totally comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). Actually a real insider tip, ....psst,but don't tell anyone :-) Thank you, Inge and Ben for the great time! Thomas & Astrid

We spontaneously booked with Beke for 4 days and everything went very smoothly from the beginning. She welcomed us very warmly and we immediately felt very comfortable in the beautiful accommodation. The house is very lovingly furnished and has everything we wanted. A nice place to relax. The surroundings of the house are also very beautiful and it is even possible to reach the beach within about 70 minutes through the nature reserve. We could also easily reach the beach by car and park for free in the nearby area. The proximity to Alkmaar, a beautiful cozy town, is also very pleasant. There are many nice restaurants and small shops. We enjoyed our time at Beke very much and will be happy to come back. Thank you again for the loving hospitality. Even though this lovely home was located so close by the beach, a walk of 5 minutes, it felt very private and the surroundings are quiet. The home was exceptionally clean, beds were extremely comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and felt like a cozy home. We enjoyed walking to and on the beach, had a delicious dinner in the village and in nearby villages as well. The hosts were very proactive with communication and responded quickly to questions. I am recommending this 100% to anyone interested a stay in Wijk Aan Zee and I am hoping to book this again on my next visit. What a fantastically beautiful place. Wonderful in nature, beautiful blooming garden and tranquility everywhere. Welcoming, full of comforts, fresh flowers in the rooms, distilled water, really everything was there. Should even stay a little longer. In short, fantastic!

Serge is a great host. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful stay in his apartment. Serge was available around the clock, gave us great tips for activities and showed us his farm. We were also able to get to know the horses there up close. The apartment was just like in the pictures, beautifully decorated, and very clean. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come back on our next visit to Holland.

Yasmin’s place was amazing! Unfortunately we had a short stay so we didnt get to experience everything she had to offer but the amenities were great and it was a beautiful location as well. She is also super friendly and communicated well. We would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment has a modern a spacious kitchen and it was a pleasure to have our morning coffee there. There's a cozy little yard where you can hang out and a stylish newly renovated bathroom. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and communicative. Definitely the nicest airbnb we've ever been to in Amsterdam!

I enjoyed my stay in Muiderberg. I needed a convenient place to stay for one night in between moving house and this apartment was the perfect solution. The host was very flexible with the check-in time and even let me park a large van in her driveway. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and had a nice atmosphere. It's actually much nicer than the photos used on Airbnb. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a quieter place to stay nearby Amsterdam or to someone who wants some days away in a cute dutch town.

The apartment is small but nice has everything you need. Thildy and her husband are super friendly and helpful. We ordered breakfast the first day and it was delicious and sumptuous. Especially our little one was thrilled with all the great toys, the trampoline and the hammocks in the garden. The surrounding area is great for bike rides or trips to the beach and dunes. Washing machine and towels cost extra, which we are not used to from AirBnB. But all toys are free and Thyldi helped us on a private issue, which was very kind. We had a really nice and relaxing time there!

A beautiful location, weekend and enjoyed the area and the beach at Egmond aan Zee and wonderful space under the canopy where you can sit in the garden. Apartment with everything and very neat and clean and enough space. Kirsten very welcoming and everything as described is correct. It is definitely recommended for a weekend getaway.

Our stay at Lisette's is always amazing 👏 We spent a great time together with the cutie of Jet. Lisette's place and Limmen are greats places to have a peaceful and quiet escape and easy to goto other big cities. we totally recommend it! and of course, we would love to comeback soon 💖

The cottage was beautiful, very peaceful with views of sheep and the hosts happy chickens walking about. We were able to get public transport into the centre of Amsterdam fairly easily, the bus stop is super close by and they come regularly. Having two bathrooms was great as there were 5 of us! The honesty box was lovely and very helpful for when we first arrived, this contained cold drinks, snacks and honey from their own bees. Thanks for having us! 🥰

We had a wonderful few days at Jody and Huib's beautiful place. The chalet is fantastically located – both the sea and the IJsselmeer can be reached quickly, and some places worth seeing in the area can also be easily accessed. The accommodation was sparkling clean and superbly equipped – there was really everything you need for a comfortable stay. There were useful utensils in the kitchen, and even in the bathroom everything was thought of – perfect in case you forgot something. The rooms are very tasteful and decorated with a lot of love for detail – you feel welcome from the first moment. The private garden access was ideal for our dog who could move freely there. However, the absolute highlight was the direct water access with private area – simply fantastic. We will be happy to come back and can highly recommend the accommodation as well as the hosts Jody and Huib:)

Wonderfully comfortable chalet! Good beds, easy to heat, nice sofa and table, attractively decorated.

The cabin is simply a dream in the middle of the countryside! So lovingly made and you can relax so wonderfully and let your mind wander. Just as beautiful as in the photos, so definitely recommended! It is wonderfully quiet, but you can also be in the next town in a few minutes. The apartment is clean and cozy and you have what you need. I'm sure we'll be back! Judith and Juul are so nice and helpful, that's not a given! :)

The accommodation was great, as described and in the pictures. We enjoyed it very much. Only the access road was officially closed and therefore we had some problems getting to the hut at first. Nevertheless, we had a great accommodation and would come back anytime! Plus point: dogs allowed!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was super clean, lovingly decorated and exactly as described. The location was perfect – quiet but still central. Mandy-Remko was very friendly, easy to reach and provided us with great tips. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

The cottage is very nicely decorated, cozy and provided everything we needed. We particularly liked the small garden, at the end of which a sheep meadow begins. We were there by car and made various excursions, e.g. to Harlingen (very pretty port town) and Tescherling (beautiful island). In Den Oever itself, you can walk wonderfully on the dyke. A large supermarket is not far and there is a delicious fish shop by the harbor that was always well attended. We enjoyed our time very much and were able to relax very well. We will be happy to come back!
