Holiday rentals with breakfast in Scilla

This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

Domenica was a wonderful host and so helpful! We had to book this place last minute because our other lodgings fell through and the host was so accommodating and lovely! The space is beautiful and the location is amazing. I will definitely book this apartment again when I come back someday!!

Grazia ist eine wundervolle und sehr fürsorgliche Gastgeberin! Wir haben uns sehr wohl und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Sie hat uns Tips für Restaurants und Ausflüge in der Gegend gegeben und uns Wasser und etwas zu kleines zu essen bei der Ankunft hingestellt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Nicht zu viele Touristen und eher ruhig. Außerdem haben wir uns sehr über die persönliche Erfahrung über AirBnB mal wieder gefreut. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Endroit paisible pour visiter le nord de l'Etna. Nous avons pu profiter de l'extérieur... et notre enfant de 2 ans a profité de Rocky (le chien) et des deux chevaux ! Les hôtes sont très réactifs et amicaux, on se sent comme si on visitait de la famille.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt! Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause! Die Lage ist ideal und der Ausblick unschlagbar. Wir haben es geliebt und würden wiederkommen!

Все понравилось, хозяева очень отзывчивые , все в пешей доступности набережная рынок, магазины порт, кафе, рестораны . с удовольствием вернёмся еще)

Where do I start. Beautiful house up in the hills around 5km from town. On arrival we were welcomed by Vitoria and his family and immediately felt at home. Evening meal with wine was offered for €25 each, glad we accepted as it was the best meal in Italy so far. Typical Calabrian food mostly from their farm. Served outside on the terrace by all family members and w Service was like you would get in a restaurant. On arrival, fridge had water, bread, fruit juice, salami and fresh milk along with a fresh bowl of oranges from the garden. Fresh baked croissants delivered for breakfast along with fresh peaches. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. On leaving, Vittorio’s wife supplied us with home made Nduja Calabrese and jars of pickled vegetables. Cute and very friendly dogs. What a wonderful family to stay with ❤️🇮🇹❤️👌

Abbiamo trascorso 3giorni a tropea per il week del 2 giugno. Armando, l'host, é stato super disponibile dal primo giorno rispondendo a tutte le mie domande nell'immediato. l'appartamento é spazioso, pulito e tenuto molto bene, inoltre é in una posizione ottima vicinissima al centro, noi abbiamo posato l'auto e ripresa solo per il viaggio di rientro. Consiglio assolutamente, noi ci ritorneremo sicuramente. :)

Absolut schöne Unterkunft! Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und geräumig. Tolle Aufteilung der Zimmer. Die Balkone sind ein Traum. Toller Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist gut zu erreichen und perfekt Startpunkt für super Ausflüge in der Gegend. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno perfetto! L’alloggio era esattamente come descritto: pulito, accogliente e ben posizionato. Il vero valore aggiunto è stato Stefano: un host eccezionale, sempre disponibile, gentilissimo e meglio di una guida turistica! Ci ha fornito consigli preziosi su cosa vedere, dove mangiare e come muoverci, facendoci sentire a casa fin dal primo momento. Un’esperienza che consigliamo senza esitazioni, torneremmo volentieri!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo fantastico appartamento per due giorni. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, appartamento molto pulito, provvisto di tutti i confort (climatizzatore, lavatrice, ampio bagno, ferro da stiro). Appartamento non grandissimo ma con ottimo terrazzino, zona cucina ben attrezzata e provvista di tutto l'occorrente per colazione e pranzo. Parcheggio molto comodo e il mare a due passi. Ottima esperienza.

Kiva asunto. kattohuoneiston terassilla kiva syödä iltaisin koko perheellä. Meri oli lähellä ja oli helppo käydä uimassa. myös linja-auto pysäkki oli lähellä. myös ruoka-kauppa muutaman minuutin kävelyn päässä.

Emanuele è stata veramente una persona gentilissima squisita l’appartamento oltre ogni aspettativa moderno arredato bene super accessoriato ecologico con tutti i comfort. zona tranquilla, non ci sono rumori si riposa benissimo collegata bene tra Catanzaro e Catanzaro lido quindi ben servita che dire forse uno dei migliori appartamenti che ho trovato in tanti anni che uso Airbnb come questi pochi in giro quasi tutti sono trasandati o tenuti male per il resto vorrei ringraziare l’ospitalità di Emanuela e soprattutto per avermi concesso di utilizzare il suo appartamento che è stato per me una delizia.

Elisa’s home was absolutely stunning! The views were incredible, and Elisa was so helpful and kind! We were a few hours late due to a cancelled train, and Elisa not only stayed up late to still welcome us, but arranged for a taxi to come get us. She was so kind, thoughtful, and helpful! I cannot recommend this place enough! A perfect stay!

Ich war für eine Woche mit meiner Mutter bei Antonio. Er und seine Frau waren unglaublich nett. Haben uns direkt geantwortet und auch bei Problemen wegen der sprach Barriere, konnte man schnelle und einfache Lösungen finden. Tolle Unterkunft, die Lage sehr schön, das Meer war nicht weit. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, was für Unternehmungen dort und Umgebung sehr praktisch war. Wenn ich nochmals nach Kalabrien reisen würde, würde ich gerne nochmal dort unterkommen wollen!!

Bellissima esperienza, impeccabile in tutto. Il b&b si trova in una zona strategica,a pochi minuti dal centro. La stanza è funzionale, pulitissima e immersa in un ambiente silenzioso,con un rapporto qualità/prezzo imbattibile.Ho amato anche la colazione e che dire delle proprietarie?Adorabili!Consigliatissimo

We had a great stay at Alessandra‘s! She and her husband Pietro are lovely hosts, they invited us several times to their place for a coffee/drink, we had great chats with them and they gave us useful information and recommendations for the area. We also made a very interesting tour with Pietro who is also an official guide of the Asperomonte National Park. Alessandra was very swift in communication and flexible for our check in time. The room we had is small but has a little fridge and balcony with a nice view, breakfast was very good (juices, water, joghurts, fruits, toasts, jam, coffee, tea etc.) and the terrace to have breakfast has a beautiful view over a part of Bova, the sea and the mountains. We would definitely recommend staying at Alessandra‘s!

First and foremost Diego was an amazing host, helping me with my bags up and down the stairs and cooking the most amazing breakfast each day. The room is exactly as pictured, so cute and with an amazing view of the ocean.

The listing matches the description. The room is clean and has a pleasant view. The building is easy to find and in great condition. The hosts are friendly, kind, and helpful. Overall, a great experience!

Wonderful hotel like airbnb in the middle of Reggio. Breakfast was good and the mini fridge in the room was very convenient. One thing that could be improved is that the check-in information could be provided without having to ask for them.

We loved staying at this Airbnb. Stunning balcony with views over the coastline. It was a very quick walk to the centre and 2 minutes walk from the supermarket. Giuseppe recommended places to see while we were here and helped us with transport option when getting to the Airbnb and for our stay. He was very attentive and a brilliant host. Can’t recommend enough!

Ludovica's B&B is certainly the place to stay if journeying to Giardini-Naxos. Ludovica was a wonderful host and greeted us on our arrival with some excellent tips for navigating the local area. She was incredibly helpful to us throughout our stay. The villa apartment was clean and homely. Ludovica and her colleagues provided a lovely continental breakfast every morning with an array of savoury and sweet items that would cater to anyone's taste. The B&B can also be commended for its prioritisation of the environment in using energy, water, and waste-reduction strategies. We loved our stay and it made our time in Sicily all the more special. We are very grateful to Ludovica for her time!

We had a fantastic time staying at Fabio’s home in Taormina. The location is perfect for walking straight into town and only a 5 minute walking to the gondola, which takes you to the beach, or the steps that you can walk down instead. When reaching Fabio’s home he was kindly waiting outside to greet us and help with our luggage. Although there is no permanent parking outside his home there is a regular free bus that runs to and from Lumbi Parking and a bus stop 5 minutes from his home. Thank you so much, for having us and we will be sure to stay at yours again if we do visit in the future!
