Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Seahouses

We were a group of six friends and stayed in this lovely part of Northumberland for a long weekend. The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The garden has sun all day and we enjoyed sitting out for breakfast and early evening drinks. It was lovely to be so close to the beach too. Rebecca was a super- responsive host, gave clear info about how to find the house and where useful things like beach towels and picnic rugs were stored ahead of our arrival. She also sent great tips about the local area and suggestions of where to eat. Thoroughly recommend.

Had an amazing stay at Seaview. Property was so clean and well laid out. Nice modern kitchen and shower room. Great garden for us and the dogs and the views are stunning. Such a great base and within a few seconds walk of the 2 best pubs in the village along with all the local shops so close by. Would strongly recommend John’s house. We had a fantastic time.

Such a lovely, spacious house. Even better than the photos. Easy to park and very quiet. The outside space catches the late afternoon sun. Amble is a beautiful place, with good restaurants and bars, literally round the corner. Recommend The Tithe, and the Italian for good food and The Lounge for great open mic night. Beautiful walks to Walkworth and Houghton along the coastal path. Thankyou for a great stay.

Well positioned for NE coasts and the Scottish border region, plenty to do both locally and further afield. Accommodation was perfect layout and immaculate - super clean with everything you could need for your stay. Helpful and friendly hosts.

A very comfortable apartment in a brilliant setting, ideal for a week away. The view from the bedroom was amazing. Loads of walks nearby, Cragside a couple of miles away. Andy and Lyd were friendly and helpful and the provision of bird seed to feed our feathered visitors was a very nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again.

Very peaceful stay in a well appointed, clean & comfortable house, easy access to beautiful Beadnell Beach.

Everything was just as we expected Shilbottle was maybe a little quieter than we expected but it made no difference to our stay. The central location was perfect for seeing the local attractions, beaches and places. We had our dogs and the walks on our doorstep were perfect for us.

This is a cosy little place in a great location for both Alnwick and the wider area. Helen's messages were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.

Georgina’s Airbnb was absolutely perfect for my mum who was staying while attending my wedding locally. Great amenities, spotlessly clean and looked gorgeous. Georgina even offered to give my mum a lift to the wedding which was so lovely of her and gave recommendations for local hairdressers. 10/10 from start of booking to the stay, just brilliant.

Wonderful place to stay nearby to Hallington Mill for our friends wedding. Zoe was a fantastic host and was very welcoming. The property was clean with fantastic views, comfy bed, great bath/shower and everything we could’ve needed. Thank you!

Fantastic little abode - highly recommend for a night away in Newcastle.

You could not not ask for a better of location. Walking distance to Alnwick fabulous Gardens and Castle, plus the Barter book shop. Not forgetting the Tree house restaurant Keith and Carole were very helpful and great fun I would recommend a visit to Harry's bar on the first night where you will meet some wonderful people and taste some great ales. Alnmouth bay is only a 4 mile drive as the beach is fantastic if you fancy a paddle.

Fabulous accommodation - just right for our short stay. The Metro into Newcastle was a short walk away. Lynne and Gary gave us a warm welcome - would recommend

This was our third stay at this lovely flat and we can only reiterate the reviews we posted previously... Great flat in a perfect location for touring Northumberland as well as looking around Alnwick. Clean and nicely furnished. Easy parking with the parking disc. Communication excellent. I had a query on arrival which was very quickly resolved by a very helpful phone call. If you want to self cater there is a Morrisons less than 5 mins walk away. Otherwise there are lots of restaurants and takeaways. This flat is highly recommended. We will return!!

A little gem of a cottage Very cleverly designed It was in a great location so near to all the amenities in Amble We did a road trip up to Alnwick and Seahorses. Over the sand dunes, in Amble, are amazing quiet beaches where you can sit read and look out to Coquet Island. The cottage had a lovely feeling to it and I loved the roll topped bath A definite place to return to .Amble has lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. We tried a few and loved them all Thanks for having us 😁

Lovely flat in a good location, the onsite parking as well as additional public parking very close by is ideal. Exceedingly helpful and communicative host.

Linda's apartment was a great place to stay to visit Alnwick and the surrounding area. it was close to shops and restaurants but also very quiet. The apartment was beautiful my clean and well equipped and also extremely comfortable. communication was great and access to the apartment was easy. We would recommend this property for a visit to Alnwick and surrounding areas.

Very comfortable, everything you could need was provided. Helpful information in folder within the apartment which answered all the questions about the apartment and the area. Parking easy with clear instructions provided. Amazing view of castle and great to watch the lighting of the beacon in remembrance of VE Day from window. All in all, a great apartment in a great location with seamless communication with owners. Thank you.

Ideal position for exploring the Northumberland coastline and surrounding area. Alnwick is a pretty town and John's flat is within easy walking distance. We loved our stay, thank you

A comfortable and homely place to stay for work in Newcastle. Close to a reliable bus route into town. Jen was friendly and thoughtful and we felt right at home. It's a place that's good value, unpretentious and feels like Airbnb used to be!

The accommodation was as described and is very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Lovely outside and garden area in peaceful surroundings. The Pack Horse pub is a few minutes walk with good food and friendly welcome. Great for a break away with the dog. The place has been very thoughtfully put together with great care. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We stayed at the flat for a week. It’s a great base for exploring the Northumberland coast. A quick walk into Bamburgh. Easy parking. The flat was as described. Very clean& comfortable. David’s instructions were clear & helpful. We appreciated the welcome treats. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
