Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Seine-Maritime

We were a family of 6 staying for a long weekend over Easter. Lauren's communication was excellent and we really appreciated the detailed list of supermarkets, shops and things to do - having not been to this area before we were reassured that it would be a good choice. The accommodation, especially the downstairs areas in the kitchen, lounges and table outside were spacious and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in Normandy coming from the UK as is only a 2-3 hour drive from Calais and an excellent base for places like Bayeux, Honfleur and Deauville. Pleasant and responsive host. Very nice cottage by the sea + small garden. Quiet. In the heart of Veules-les-Roses, one of the most beautiful villages in France and truly 300-400 meters from the sea. Beautiful sandy beach + cliffs as a backdrop. We had a great Pentecost weekend there.

Ben and Georgie have an amazing place in a great location! I would love to tell you all that we hated it in the hopes to gatekeep it for ourselves, however that would be unfair to Ben and Georgie who were absolutely fantastic hosts. The barn has been brilliantly converted, with four great bedrooms and everything you’d need to enjoy and relax. The outdoor space was the highlight for us. Definitely worth going for the spa facilities, the jacuzzi was great and the sauna was far better than we expected. Thanks again to Ben and Georgie! We’ll definitely be visiting again!

What a beautiful house with a stunning view over the river. We all enjoyed our stay very much. The large balcony was a highlight, we spent evenings here watching the boats go past. A lovely period farmhouse in a quaint village. Would love to visit again.

We always dreamt of visiting the French countryside and having a local village that caters to all needs! This place was a dream come true and the host was always responsive and even allowed a late check out free of charge! It was the most amazing 4 days and our Lab loved his first trip out of the UK! I highly recommend anyone to book this place!

We really enjoyed Joel and Jocelyne's house. More beautiful and spacious than the photos suggest, it was perfectly clean. Our hosts were most welcoming and the tips for enjoying the area were endless. The house is located on a beautiful plot. Our only downside is that it is not allowed to enjoy this nature since the walk to the tenants is only allowed on a small plot around the house. But that's really our only downside. The accommodation was very well located, in the heart of Honfleur and close to restaurants and shops! Also very good in hot weather because the apartment keeps cool very well :) A little extra for the private garden, which was very nice!

The place is very well located not far from the city center but also from the beach. It's a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Excellent stay in Honfleur in La Cabane de Zélie! Very well located and very comfortable accommodation with a small terrace as a bonus. Everything is in walking distance from the property. Simon is very friendly and attentive to needs.

Very nice well-equipped house with a magnificent view of the sea. Too bad for us, the sun wasn't there, but we were able to fully enjoy our days in a spacious house where there were 7 adults. Laurence

We had an exceptional stay in this cottage, which is undoubtedly one of the best rentals we have ever known. And yet, we have done a lot over the years, in all seasons. This cottage is actually a second home, and you can tell right away: the owners leave their personal belongings there, which shows how much they trust the tenants. This creates a unique atmosphere — you immediately feel at home. Everything is perfectly maintained. We wonder how many hours are spent on housework. The beds are very comfortable, and the living spaces are spacious and bright. The pool is a real plus, especially for the children, who loved it. It's a huge asset. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised, because the photos on the site do not really do justice to the beauty and generosity of the place: a large garden, a small adjoining wood, a real feeling of calm and space.

Ludivine's accommodation corresponds in all respects to the description. My four friends and I loved the quality, especially of the veranda and the bedding. We are less than a ten-minute walk from the city center and the funicular. No problem to park and it's very quiet. Thanks again! We'll be happy to go back.

We spent 2 relaxing weeks at Alice's place. Alice was an excellent host, communicative, responsive and making extra effort to provide us with information in English and also speaking to us in English. We (and our 2 dogs) received a warm welcome from Alice and she stayed in touch through our stay and answered all questions quickly. The highlight of Alice's place was the outside space with covered, comfortable seating, a choice of places to sit and eat and a very warm swimming pool! Inside were comfortable beds and a powerful shower. The area was beautiful and quiet with many walking and cycling opportunities and certainly one we'd like to return to. The nearby town of Pont Audemer has everything you could need and is very pretty. We would recommend Le Sadi Carnot and Le Vieux Puits.

Fantastic house for 10 people… beds were super comfortable and lovely bedding. All ensuite bathrooms were perfect. Great location just outside HONFLEUR and Deauville where there are a great assortment of restaurants. Went down to the beach to watch the sunset nightly, what a peaceful spot. We went here for an extended family break with small kids. It was perfect! The garden was big with beautiful cherry trees that tasted absolutely delicious! There was so much space for the children to run around and a beautiful terrace so sit out on in the evenings. The house was perfect and kitted out for all we needed. There aren’t many amenities around so you have to drive to the shops but that was fine. The walk to the beach was lovely and only 1km away, the children loved playing there. Louise was very helpful and very responsive, the place was very clean and not cluttered. A very stylish house! We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! Thank you!

Beautiful house that matched 100% the description given on AirBnb. We had a water outage due to bad weather in the area and our host was able to help us find an alternative solution very quickly. I highly recommend ++ for large groups or family reunions!
