It is located on the route of very nice hiking trails, 10 minutes from the best cross-country skiing sites in France. 1 hour from Geneva, 10 minutes from the beach of Lake Lamoura.

Our house is located in the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park at an altitude of 1000 m. Former 19th century farmhouse, it was successively a summer camp, a gîte and then a family home. We renovated it with quality natural materials. The 230 m2 house is intended for lovers of old stones but also Art and Design in search of a comfortable haven of peace to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature, 1 hour from Geneva and 1 hour 45 minutes from Lyon.

This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. Spacious, warm, it is located in the Haut-Jura Nature Park. Hiking possible from the accommodation, ski slopes (cross-country and alpine) a few km away (Les Rousses, Mijoux), lakes and waterfalls... Many fruit farms for foodies! "La Varine" Cottage

Your accommodation is located on the ground floor of the house where we live. Your room is the old cellar of our house, so your sleep is guaranteed without outside noise! Nana opened her restaurant this summer 2021, it is located next to the cottage. Upon reservation, she offers take-out pizzas on Wednesday and Sunday evenings, and on other days traditional French cuisine, on Saturday an African dish, the menus change every week.
