Holiday houses in Sfinari

Our stay was fantastic - property looks better than it looks in photos, the location is great, and the hosts were extremely helpful. We arrived late (10pm on Friday) and they even offered to call the closest restaurant to pre-order us food as the kitchen closed right at 10. They had a ton of guides to the island which made planning super easy, and the hosts continued to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We would absolutely rent from them again! Also, the location is great. It’s an hour from the airport, but still very accessible to many great things. You’re about a 25 minute walk to a nice beach, a 15 minute drive to a supermarket, and a 10 minute walk to a great restaurant. Would recommend!

Villa Arietta is a dream house. Located in the beautiful hills just outside Kissamos, 10 mins by car from the sea. The house is marvelous and has all the comforts you need to enjoy a perfect holiday. We were two couples with one toddler and a baby and both indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect for our needs. Also, thoughtful little touches like a welcome hamper with local products, and numerous amazing toys for the kids to use in the garden. Arietta and her husband have been extremely helpful and accommodating throughout, and communication has always been quick and proactive. We loved our stay and we really hope to come back again. Definitely recommended, one of the best places we’ve been to!

Un séjour inoubliable chez Dimitria et Pablo ! Ce sont des hôtes incroyablement gentils, accueillants et très réactifs : dès que nous avions besoin de quelque chose, ils étaient là. La villa est tout simplement magnifique, encore mieux que sur les photos ! Très propre, parfaitement équipée, tout est pensé pour passer un excellent séjour. Le gros coup de cœur : la piscine à débordement avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et en plein axe du coucher de soleil… magique ! Le jacuzzi est aussi un vrai plus, avec lui aussi une vue incroyable. Chaque pièce de la maison offre une vue splendide sur la mer, c’est vraiment exceptionnel. Et je le répète : Dimitria et Pablo sont adorables. Je recommande ce logement à 100 % !

Really enjoyed our stay at Phy-Sea villa! Marianna was a great host who greeted us with a tray of fruit and cheese upon checking in and provided us with several wonderful dining and activity recommendations. The place itself is peaceful and close to Chania while feeling like you are getting away. Though there are many beaches close by, we also liked having our own pool. Looking forward to coming back!

From the warm welcome to the thoughtful surprises — the delicious food and the homemade cake — everything made us feel incredibly special and at home. The house is absolutely charming, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 1 week (4adults and 4 kids) having been to Crete a number of times before. The villa was up in the hills (you need to hire a car to get anywhere and driving on the small lanes is not for the faint hearted) but this gave us the beautiful views over the bay and a lovely sea breeze. The house was immaculate with all the essentials and mod cons including chilled filtered water from the fridge. The ice machine didn’t work so one of the team popped around with a big bag of ice the next day which we used instead. We also experienced a sandstorm (happens about once a year) with Saharan sand being deposited on everything. The cleaners were around the next morning and the pool was cleaned beautifully. The pool itself was heated to a lovely temperature so the kids could enjoy it all day and the hot tub was even warmer so the perfect place to sit and enjoy drinks. We used the outdoor built in barbecue and sat outside for dinners (great views). Karolina was very responsive! Recommend!

Einmalig schönes, charmantes Tinyhaus, wunderbar zwischen Johannisbrot- und Olivenbäumen gelegen, schöne Terrasse mit ausreichend Schatten und Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten (wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen). Die sehr freundlichen Vermieter wohnen in unmittelbarer Nähe (s.Foto 3). Danke auch an die sehr nette Servicekraft Vicky, die zwischendrin die Wäsche gewechselt hat! Die Nähe zur Loutraki-Bucht ist fantastisch, das Wasser dort kristallklar und herrlich zum Schwimmen geeignet. Interessant für zukünftige Gäste: die in anderen Rezensionen gelobte Taverne ist aktuell (Juni 2025) geschlossen, sehr nahe ist ein Luftwaffenstützpunkt, sodass gelegentlich Düsenjets- auch nachts- fliegen. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!
