Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Shasta County

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was beautiful, luxurious, and felt like a private resort. The layout was perfect with huge windows facing Mt. Lassen and a gorgeous swimming pool that our kids basically lived in. The AC was amazing—kept the house perfectly cool even in the Shasta heat—and the fans in each room were a nice bonus. Strong Wi-Fi, TVs in every room, and a fully stocked kitchen made everything easy. The fancy fridge even made two kinds of ice, which was a fun touch! We saw wildlife, enjoyed nearby spots like Holiday Market and Goodtimes Pizza, and had both Dutch Bros and Starbucks just minutes away. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!

My son and grandkids came up for Father’s Day and this was the best location as my daughter and her family live just down the street! This house is located close to everything ! The home is very cozy and roomy. The backyard was great in the evening with a propane fire pit and tv on a patio with lights. Communication was very friendly and prompt! Would definitely book again!

Aaron's house was just what we needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated lots of room for all of us to have some privacy, and room for everyone on the couches. Lots of nice touches, like dog treats, coffee beans, and welcome candy. We enjoyed the foosball and ping pong tables all of the outdoor space. It was nice that we couldn't see any neighbors too. Would definitely recommend!

Dana's place is serene and peaceful. The home was really well stocked and we especially appreciated the surplus of floaties and the dual washer and dryers. Our family had a great time and felt right at home.

We stayed for a week. This was our second time visiting Serenity House. We loved the ranch location. We found it to be relaxing and serene as promised. We were excited that the deer were constantly visiting, even a mama deer and her twin babies...what a treat! Your home is so quiet and peaceful...just what we needed. The house is very comfortable and well supplied. We loved it and hope to be back again. Loved the hot tub too! Kathy and Gary

Great place that is centrally located and allowed us to bring our dogs with us to visit family.

Awesome. The pool was exceptionally fantastic. The outdoor tables and sofa were great. We had a memorable family weekend at this place. The home is off the beaten path, in that it is down a gravel road. There are no restaurants or shops to walk to, so you have to like country living to rent this place. There were deer and squirrels visiting. Yet, it was about three minutes from the freeway (which was barely audible). The pool is enclosed in a sturdy steel fence. Our dog loved it here. The kitchen was well stocked. I recommend renting a boat on Shasta Lake from Anklers, about a 10 minute drive from this place.

My husband and I with three of our grown children (and their plus ones) and two grandchildren all stayed here together for our other daughter's wedding. This house was perfect for our large family needs, from the large kitchen and dining areas, to the multiple bed and bathrooms, and especially the rec room where we made many memories! Dera was super accommodating and always prompt in communicating! It was reasonably priced and we definitely got our moneys worth! Absolutely a great space to enjoy with a big crowd!

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect—clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The host was responsive, thoughtful, and provided clear instructions and great local recommendations. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was cozy with high-quality linens, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough for remote work. I especially appreciated the peaceful outdoor patio and quiet neighborhood. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the small touches (like coffee, toiletries, and extra blankets) made it feel like home. It was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!

The cabin is very well equipped, good quality furniture, & fully equipped kitchen. The place is very well put together & neat. Would highly recommend. Also, Daniel is proactively responsive & makes sure we are comfortable

Excellent stay, as advertised. A bit remote but pristine, quiet and beautiful. The floor to ceiling window in the living room was amazing. Sat on the porch and watched the stars at night. Ate breakfast staring at the first across the valley. Loved our stay here.

What a beautiful place to relax. Very close to Lassen Volcanic NP. Rekha & Shyam thought of every when it came to check-in instructions, it made the process so easy. We would stay again!

This place was magical. We slept upstairs in what felt like a nest in the trees. Cozy, comfy bed, staring right out at magnificent pines through an enormous window… I never wanted to get up. The shower was modern, hot, and had great pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat “in” two of our nights there, including a great spice rack. We made good use of the washer and dryer, too. Comfy couch with blankets for snuggling, amazing library of books… If you are hoping for a getaway to get a lot of work done using the internet, this is not for you - the WiFi service waxed and waned and was never terribly fast - though it was at its best in the wee hours. This was an absolutely memorable stay and part of me is always going to miss that “nest.”

Mineral is an ideal location for visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. While Chester has more facilities, it is further away, and if you prefer solitude and proximity, Mineral is the ideal choice. April's cabin was exactly as described, and had everything I needed for a short or even extended stay. Clean, everything worked, quiet, instructions were clear. ZERO complaints.

we felt in love with the a frame. location was good with a market about 5mi away. Lassen national park was a close drive. very peaceful and quiet. house was clean and had what we were looking for. Anna Marie was responsive.

We had a wonderful stay! There were only four of us and there was room for more. The kitchen was well stocked and Kavian is an excellent communicator. Very responsive, friendly and accommodating.
