House holiday rentals in Shaver Lake

Our stay at Darren's beautiful house was wonderful! The house is very large and roomy with an incredible pool/hot tub to help soak away sore muscles after a long day at Yosemite. Darren was an excellent communicator providing really good information about Yosemite, rafting, local restaurants (which by the way were excellent), and things to do in the area. If we had questions, he was extremely prompt in responding. It was a perfect house for our family of 6 adults providing all the room we needed for the week. We each had our private space but also a nice kitchen and dining area to eat and cook together. The town of Oakhurst is really close with lots of restaurants, grocery store, etc. It was about an hour and a half to get to Yosemite South Entrance or Arch Rock from the house. We would stay at Darren's place again in a heartbeat.

The welcome was very courteous and attentive. The place was very warm, clean, and peaceful. My family and I were delighted. Everything was very convenient, and we enjoyed our visit to Yosemite Park. The water falls were just beautiful. If you stay here you won't miss your home guarantee, you will miss this beautiful house after leaving:) If we make a new trip to this town for sure will come back here.

Tom and Teresa are simply wonderful people. They’re so accommodating and just incredibly nice. The communication was stellar from the first moment, the house is spacious, clean, and fully stocked. Even more importantly, they’re just genuinely good people who care about their guests. 11/10 - just terrific!

Beth was an amazing host and the place had everything you will need to feel like home. We had a couple of deers that visited us and that made my day . At night you can sit on the porch and stargazing. Beautiful property . We will definitely come back

Place was nice, clean and spacious and host was very helpful and responsive. We were just a bit underwhelmed with the pool and the backyard being a bit overgrown but overall we enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay here. We were welcomed as we first arrived and were shown around the property and made sure to know how to use all the great amenities this beautiful home has to offer. The jacuzzi and pool were amazing after a long day of hiking. And we felt at home with this amazing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Everything was clean , multiple comfortable rooms and beds. The pool was a blast! And the outdoor area was great for breakfasts, late dinners and stargazing. We will be back!

The home was a perfect setup for our family of 8 adults and eight children. We were concerned being there in the middle of May that the pool would be too cold, however it was warm enough for the kids to enjoy it everyday we were there. The location was great for a day visit to Yosemite and other local adventures. Family time was the goal and the property was great for that.

This was our 2nd time staying at Joe's, perfect for 2 families with all the upstairs bedrooms, bathrooms, and games, fire pit outside is great for marshmallow roasting, and hiking out the backyard is awesome. Will definitely be staying again. Joe communicates well and is very responsive.

Amy was an amazing host. She was always responsive and very helpful with our questions. Friendly too! The place was lovely, clean and very well equipped. Very thoughtfully decorated as well! The pavement lights at night were 💯. Although the place was a little distance away (like 8mins from town centre), it offered a very peaceful and private environment - great for when you just wanna relax and get comfortable after a long day. The location is also great if you intend to spend a few days in Yosemite and not want to stay within the park itself. The drive is not far at all. Would definitely stay again if I were visiting the area in the future.

My wife and I loved Jesus’ suite, it was perfect for our stay and not too far from Yosemite and Sequoia National parks. The place was very clean and comfortable to stay. Would love to come back again, Thankyou!

This was the perfect location for our group. The location was gorgeous, the house was perfect for us, and the amenities were wonderful. We had a group of kids, adults and seniors with us and it was the perfect place. Jeremy was very responsive and made sure that our stay was the perfect peaceful getaway that we had hoped for. Can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to be here.

This is our 4th or 5th time staying at this cabin. Our favorite place to stay. We love watching the sunset from the backyard. Super quiet neighborhood. Quick drive to China Peak. Best place!!

Beautiful home, so many activities, and half way between the Fresno Airport and Yosemite. We had a group of 4 and we all enjoyed having our own rooms and such a nice common area to enjoy games and movies each night. The hot tub was great as well. The home is in a secluded area and was so quiet and enjoyable. We saw some turkeys, deer, and beautiful sunsets😀

We had a fab stay at Jens place. Sitting in the hot tub after a busy day of exploring was perfect. The views were amazing and we had a fab time at Yosemite and then at the nearby Bass Lake, would recommend getting a boat out on the lake! The accommodation was lovely and well equipped with lots of little touches which made us feel at home and relaxed. Would recommend this place to anyone!

This is a lovely cabin in Shaver Lake! We had family visit from Australia for Christmas this year and we were lucky enough to find this great cabin! We had 7 adults and 1 child and we honestly had so much room. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils and the chefs stove/oven was amazing! We cooked a lot during our stay! This cabin felt like a home. It had plenty of space inside and the outdoor area surrounding the cabin was very spacious and peaceful. We were lucky to get snow the second day of our stay and it was breathtaking! Our family got to see snow for the first time! The road was also plowed so we were able to drive with ease. I would absolutely stay here again. The host was very responsive when it came to messages. 10/10 would recommend! Happy Holidays!

Highly communicative hosts -- proactive, highly responsive and gave us suggested things to do in the area. Clean, comfortable home. Great internet reception all through the house. Good restaurant choices in the Oakhurst. We came for Yosemite but close by Bass Lake was well worth visiting. Comfortable king-size and queen-size mattresses. (We slept well!) Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Two small quirks: the house backs up to Hwy 41, so the traffic noise was noticeable, especially while sitting on the deck. Also, there's no door into the master bathroom.

Nice, clean and spacious house. Anne was very responsive. Enjoyed the place very much. A bit expensive but got good value for the price. Overall very nice stay.

Michael and Taylor were fantastic hosts. They were very accommodating, fantastic communication and the house exceeded our expectations which is very difficult to do. We felt completely at home and everyone had a wonderful experience. The back patio and kitchen were the highlights of our evenings. We spent the time cooking and enjoying amazing sunsets fully relaxed. Highly recommend.

This house was a great place to retreat to after long days at Yosemite and Sequoia. Our kids loved playing in the creek and the by the waterfalls. The area is super quiet and peaceful. There aren’t many restaurants close by to choose from, so we did a lot of cooking. But Neika’s kitchen had all the equipment we needed. We never wanted to leave this magical property.

Great spot about an hour from the Fresno airport and about 30 minutes to Yosemite park entrance (another hour then to Yosemite Valley). Location was perfect for us as we did not get a peak entrance ticket so needed to enter the park prior to 6am and close location meant we weren't getting up way too early

Samantha’s rental was just what we needed during our visit to Yosemite. Like others mentioned in their reviews, she was thoughtful in all the amenities she provided (including a white noise machine!). The place was simple, clean, and in a location that is close to restaurants.

This house is perfect in every category. We stayed with family members to celebrate my daughter’s graduation and to send her off to college and could not have picked a better home. We made memories of a lifetime in large part due to this home!
