Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Shelter Island

This is a lovely upstairs apartment about a half mile from a small marina with several good restaurants. You will want to get to the beach in Madison, a state park, rather than the Clinton beach which has high fees for non-residents. With that said, the gate is not attended after 6 pm when I sat and ate a lobster roll and then explored some of the history plaques to be found on the point. Catherine’s place was the perfect site for me to rest after a Hoffman retreat.

We had a great weekend at Nicholas’s place. It was very peaceful in the woods, and we enjoyed using the record player and looking through the books spread throughout the studio. Nicholas was very responsive when I texted with questions and we used his provided recommendations to find breakfast and dinner. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. The apartment is even nicer than the photos can show, especially the high ceilings, and it's an easy walk to anywhere in Greenport. Amanda has provided every amenity you could need, including a full laundry. There's a very nice coffee maker, so don't forget to either bring coffee or K-pods (it takes either). Amanda was very responsive to any questions we had. If you're a breakfast person, Crazy Beans was a great classic diner spot, and we had a great Mexican lunch at Lucharito's.

This was our second stay at JoAnn's place and everything worked out great. Her place is comfortable, clean and well located for our needs.

Barbara’s place reminded me of the way airbnbs used to be. It felt like home-away-from-home. The accommodations were high quality and clean, and there were even some tasty snacks! We loved our stay. Everything was as pictured. Stony Creek was wonderful, and we look forward to visiting again next year!

Stayed at this lovely home and I am so lucky to have found this idyllic spot. It is a well lived home that you get to stay in . The hosts are generous and kind. Both Paris and Clifton were helpful and responsive in their communication. Gave excellent recommendations. Paris welcomed us at the check in and it was so great to get a chance to talk for a little bit. I actually appreciated that a lot. The views are stunning and the space is really well done. It is what people wish for in their dreams. Thanks for such an excellent stay guys! Hope to be back soon.

Beautiful house, perfect for a getaway to the north fork. Very close to a beach. Very clean and comfortable. Elizabeth is a great host. Highly recommend.

This was our second time renting Brian's place for a getaway and this stay was as excellent as the last. We love this house so much and Brian could not be a better host. His communication is stupendous; he was always immediately available to respond to any questions we had.

This is one of the most soulful places to stay on Long Island, Greenport, our second visit. A true family gem with laidback vibes and stylish features.

I stayed at Mary's rental with my sister's family including a 4yo and 6yo, as well as my 72yo mother and the house was a perfect fit! The downstairs bedroom and full bath were perfect for mom to avoid the steep stairs, and the house was well equipped with a ton of kids books and some toys. Proximity to town was the highlight, we were easily able to walk with the kids which was perfect since the weekend was too chilly for the beach. Mary was responsive if needed but the house is well stocked and easy to navigate so we felt at home right away. I will absolutely be renting from Mary again!

The house was perfect for my family. I loved the convenience of the one-floor layout and way it allows views of the pool and deck from the almost everywhere so we could enjoy it even when the weather didn't cooperate and we couldn't swim. The family /living room was comfortable and great for relaxing or watching a film. The lower level playroom was great fun with ping pong and billiards set up in two areas. We found everything we needed including electric outlets where you need them. The location was great for us and our rides to Montauk and the other towns in the area for museums and restaurants and views. The only thing less than perfect was low water pressure in the master bath sinks and shower, which Abigail said the plumber was addressing. She was extremely responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay fro our rainy June weekend. Southold is a quaint town with some excellent local places and fine dining as well. Took a trip to shelter island with the car on the ferry. Went to a cool vintage store in Greenport. Bed and space were super comfy & cozy. Book this spot you won’t be disappointed! Looking forward to visiting again in full summer weather:)

Spent to my birthday here with my husband, dogs and toddler. Had my gender reveal birthday cake, outback under the sunset. Truly magical.✨ The backyard was ideal. Was able to tie the dogs to the deck with a 20 foot leash. It kept them contained to the backyard & away from beach goers on foot and other dogs. The dunes kept the backyard private you’re not staring at your neighbors. Felt so secluded. I also have some mobility issues and you couldn’t ask for an easier way to enjoy the beach & get your toes in the sand. The house & deck are spacious and easy to navigate with a walker. Was able to add extra days to our stay. Would 100% stay here again.

John and Cathy are amazing hosts. This was our second consecutive summer stay in their condo and it does not disappoint. The place and the amenities they provide are amazing and they are a wonderful couple who respects your privacy but are there for anything you need. I recommend anyone to stay here and know they would want to return. Thank you John and Cathy for making our second summer with you a fantastic vacation!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cliffside for our wedding weekend! Alice was very flexible with us, which we appreciated because getting married is chaotic enough LOL. Would highly recommend staying here. The unit was spotless and had a wonderful view. We could not have asked for a better stay!

We really enjoyed staying at Lynn’s place! Very clean and had a great view of the ocean from the deck. Lynn was very responsive and made the experience seamless. We would definitely stay with Lynn again.

If we don't give a good review, can we keep this to ourselves?! Patti was a perfect host; the views were fantastic, whether from the outdoor porch or inside through the French doors looking out on the water. Access to the small beach and pool were excellent and we were close to several good restaurants (many of which Patti suggested, including some on the water) for take-out during the pandemic. Wifi was great and everything was very clean and as advertised. We generally fly for vacations and long weekends but had to stay closer to home this year and this was a perfect choice.

Had a wonderful stay with my family. Clean, comfortable, great location. Good communication. Had a little trouble with the front door first day but someone was available quickly to help. A+

Had an amazing stay in Greenport. The condo was exactly as listed, extremely clean and has a ton of amenities. Tom communicated from when the reservation was booked until the end, he was readily available, answered quickly and gave tons of informations. The location is ideal with the private beach and pool and a quick 5 minute drive into town. The condo offers a great little kitchen, a wonderful balcony with a water view and an unbeatable sunset and all the amenities you need for your stay. Pool towels are provided, plenty of bathroom towels, there’s a coffee machine, 3 tvs, a variety of dishware and there’s coin operated laundry in the basement. The staff that works the grounds and property are also super friendly. The town of Greenport and other surrounding towns are all close, you have endless options for vineyards in close vicinity and there’s tons of amazing restaurants within a 5-15 minute car ride.
