This is a private, single-unit rental accommodation located in a secluded space surrounded by nature. Time passes slowly, and every moment remains quietly in my heart. A rural landscape unfolds before your eyes, and beyond it stretches the beautiful scenery of Mt. Hakkasan. From the deck surrounded by flowers, you can watch the beautiful sunset over the mountains. In the evening, gather around the campfire, roast marshmallows, and enjoy a relaxing time under the starry sky. Enjoy a BBQ while listening to the sounds of nature. [House Story] This house was born out of a childhood dream of living in a Nordic home.It all started with my longing for a cozy cabin and the tranquility of nature, like something out of a story. After living in Sweden and New Zealand, I returned to Japan and, together with my husband, Andy, took over a cottage that was scheduled to be demolished just one month later. My husband and I have carefully renovated this house, piece by piece, like a work of art, to create a space where the Nordic philosophy of connecting with nature and the beautiful natural surroundings of this location come together in harmony. 4 km to Lake Biwa There is a convenience store within walking distance A large supermarket is also a 10-minute drive away. Kyoto Uji, Entire house rental "BESSHO"

Entirely private inn "BESSHO" A renovated prefabricated building on a former factory site, limited to one group per day. It is a warm space created by a woodworker who added touches little by little. The faint sound of trees, the setting sun, the silence of the mountains, the chirping of birds - a peaceful time spent with nature. Enjoy a little time away from everyday life and spend time with nature. On the forest road to the north of the inn, you can feel the footprints of the people who once cut through the mountains. Enjoy a barbecue on the adjoining terrace while admiring the seasonal nature. You can spend your time as you wish, whether it's sightseeing, a workation, mindfulness, or a stay with family and friends. ◎ Instructions for use This facility is a rustic inn that makes use of the natural environment and does not provide services by resident staff like hotels and ryokans. You may hear work noise from the woodworking shop on the premises, and there may be people and vehicles coming and going. There are also many creatures living in the surrounding area, and they may occasionally enter the building. We recommend this stay to those who can enjoy this environment.

The nature is abundant, there is no car noise or noise, and the garden is a very calm space. You can enjoy a very unusual open fire or an outdoor BBQ.There is a firewood stove in the room! (winter only) There is a gazebo in the garden, and you can BBQ on rainy days without wind. There is a Fire TV Stick! The stove and charcoal (3) are included in the listing, so you can enjoy BBQ if you bring your own ingredients. We can accommodate up to 5 people. If you drop the firewood, you can enjoy an open fire! You can see the ropeway of Hakodateyama ski resort from the room. The inn overlooks the forest in a quiet villa area. You can even set up a tent to practice camping and enjoy a BBQ! The interior varies depending on the season. Local priority. It is rural and the mountains are close, so insects will always come out. It is not suitable for those who don't like insects, small children, or those who are worried. We do not accept groups who want to make noise, party use, or minors who smoke or drink. There is an animal fence in the area around the ⚠️villa, so there is no bear damage. Monkeys, don't come close, but please don't leave food or trash outside.

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

《May 2019 TV can be watched.》 It is located 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto station. It will be lent to a Kyoto townhouse style building. I put the finest furniture and the finest bed. You can also use wifi. The bath is about the size of two adults and uses Japanese cypress. It will be a very beautiful room just opened in January. Please try and stay at once. The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

To ensure you enjoy the stay to the fullest, I set check-in and check-out time to both 12:00 Noon. So you can stay up for 24 hours with one night booking. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
