Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Shinagawa City

Kan is an incredible host and his place is lovely. The tiny home is filled with architectural details that create a beautiful and comfortable space. We were so grateful to Kan for making his tiny home a special place for us to spend our last leg of our honeymoon. The apartment is nestled in a quiet, residential neighborhood, which is ideal for taking a break from busy Tokyo. You’re near major transit lines and convenience stores, as well as a lovely park. Kan shared fantastic recommendations for breakfast and lunch nearby — and he was very accommodating to make our check in and out as seamless as possible. I’d happily return!

This was our first trip to Japan and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dans place! The house was exactly as pictured and the directions given were perfect! The home is fully equipped with everything you could need! Having the 3 floors was nice as we traveled as a family of 5 with 2 teenagers, so everyone was able to have their own space. I will say, if having a tv is important to you, there aren’t any in this home, but that was not an issue at all for our family! Dan provided great local recommendations and was very responsive with any questions I had. The house is in a great location for multiple train stations and corner stores. We will definitely reach back out to stay here again on our next trip to Japan!

It was better than I imagined!Not only did the children enjoy themselves, but the adults also enjoyed seeing the children in a way they don't usually see in their daily lives.There is also a supermarket nearby, and if you are coming from a rural area, you can buy what you want to eat at the service area on the way and cook it in the kitchen, so you can enjoy one meal in a way that is very different from a typical trip.What you can see inside the Holy Planet is just like being in the universe, and I was able to experience an extraordinary feeling that I had never experienced before.

This place was great! The host was nice although I never got to meet her in person. This is my first trip to Japan and this place was perfect! the Nishi-Megome station was nearby, although walking there with luggage would be a bit rough, but it is only 15 minutes. it also makes it easy to get anywhere from there. Loved it! Would definitely come back if it was available!

We loved staying at Jiro's place. It felt like we were getting the authentic Japanese experience. The neighborhood was fun and had very few other tourists. it was super close to public transit and 7-11 and Family Mart. We loved the tatami mats and the traditional bathroom. It was a lot of fun. Jiro was super quick to respond to questions.

Kanako was awesome!! We had a sudden 7 hour delay for our flight out of Haneda leaving us stranded at the airport for 13 hours with 2 pets and no where to go. I found Kanako’s air bnb and messaged her earlier in the morning asking if we could come by around noon even though it was before check in time because we needed a place to go with our pets asap! She responded right away and let us come by whenever we were ready. The place was clean, convenient and just what we needed! It was so kind of her to take our pets too. She is an awesome host!

Our stay here was fantastic! Host was very proactive and always responsive. They provided us with a guided walk through explanation of all of the amenities.

It was great for a family of 7. It was close to so many train stations. There was a playground and convenience stores. So many nice little restaurants. We had a great stay.

Apart from being a little far to Shinagawa Station, it was perfect. (It would be good to note that there are not many towels provided for consecutive nights)

The apartment is very conveniently located just a 5 minute walk to Osaki station (and it is quite a nice walk might I add through a really pretty path with all sorts of greenery). The room was spacious and great for two people, especially the bathroom. It has a roomy bath that is large and comfortable to use. The washing machine was very useful during our trip as well. One thing is the stairs are quite steep to get to the room, but as long as one is careful it’s okay.

A lovely place, situated in commutable proximity to the city centre. Very peaceful neighbourhood and a good supermarket near by. The only downside to this place was that the walls are quite thin so you can hear neighbours and the people above (especially footsteps) but this was tolerable.

The accommodation was in a great location next to a lot of good restaurants and within 5 minute walk of the train station. The host was also very friendly and helpful.

It is close to Keikyu and convenient, and there is a convenience store downstairs, so it is convenient, and the size is a little larger than a studio apartment, and the cost was good.

Beautiful and spacious place right next to the Takanawadai station so finding the place is not hard and also after a long day of walking and exploring you get off the train and walk 1 minutes from station exit and reach your accommodation. Where in the world can you get your own private gym in Air Bnb at this palce you do. The place is clean and exactly as described. I would say that if you are taller then 6 feet then you might have limited space in bed. The beds are tatami style and are comfortable with clean linen. The place has two toilets and 2 bathing area. Kitchen is clean and the utensils are provided but we did not do any cooking so did not see what is available. Another good feature is the water cooler so you do not have to but water for the accommodation. Seven eleven and lawson is short walking distance. Great place highly recommend Keiko is a great host and we will be back.

Apartment very close to Haneda airport, 10 minutes by train. Everything was new and very clean, well equipped. Uedaya was always helpful at all times

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

Lovely little appartment in a calm neighboorhood. Kami-kitazawa station is at 2 minutes walk from the airbnb and it’s pretty easy to travel to more central areas from there (shibuya and shinjuku for example). Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets which spared us a lot of time when trying to find something. Only detail is the train that passes by is kind of loud but we slept well nonetheless. Would come back to this place.
