Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Shingletown

We were driving from California to Washington with our dog and left our planning until late to see how far we'd get before we needed to stop for the night. We were fortunate to find Greg's and Rebekah's place was available and they were super responsive. It happened to be a heat wave and we were happy the house had air conditioning - it was very comfortable. The large, grassy fenced back yard is terrific. The carport parking with side access to the kitchen is great too. I want to especially thank Rebekah and Greg after their cleaner found that we'd left medication in the refrigerator and were too far up the road to turn around - they went out of their way to figure out a way to get it to us, which rises above the typical host/guest transaction and is commendable - thank you! We would stay here again if/when we travel through this area.

The home was perfect if you are staying at Redding and exploring area around Redding. The home was clean and very spacious. Both of our families had a very comfortable stay.

My family and I had a great time. We had everything we needed for cooking. The home is cozy and comfortable. The view breathtaking. We would come again for sure!!! Annalisa was a great host!

We enjoyed our long weekend in the bungalow! The place was just as described, and Brandy was very responsive before and during our stay. The area is very residential, but not far (a 20+ minute walk down a hill) from restaurants and downtown Redding. All essential amenities were available, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer on the back deck.

We found the house to be very comfortable and clean. Beds were comfortable and they had actual curtains, so not much light came in (which I really appreciate.) We only stayed one night and didn’t use the kitchen so I can’t speak to the amenities there. But it’s right next to the lake, which makes for a nice, peaceful walk. Rodrigo was very communicative before our stay to update us on a few things, which was great. We’ll definitely consider staying here again!

Beautiful place and very comfortable. Ted made sure that should I have any issues he was immediately available. Couldn't recommend his house enough.

Enjoyed our stay at Jesse and Hollys house. The house was very beautiful inside with tasteful decorations and open space. The backyard was nice and peaceful at night. I enjoyed sitting out looking at the clear skies. Great location within driving distance of restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay there again and recommend anyone to stay also. Glenn

This was maybe one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at - clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious. Host was very communicative. Suited our needs perfectly.

Nathan and Hillary were great hosts and had good communication throughout our stay. The location was great and the neighborhood was very quiet. The home had plenty of room and was exactly what we were looking for. the pool area was beautiful and we spent a lot of time there as it was over 100 degrees! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. This is definitely a perfect getaway! I was roadtriping and stopped by Shingletown. Candess’s farm is huge and very beautiful. It’s for sure a wonderful place to have friends gathering, bbq, pool, animals, and all the natural beauty! The cabin is super super cute I literally screamed out when I stepped in, it’s exactly what you would imagine in the tales. Only thing was it didn’t have any service and I happened to get some work to do, and they kindly invited me to use the guest room which has internet. The night was amazing!

This house was luxurious, the views were spectacular, the accommodations were super comfortable, the linens were so soft and smelt Devine. The inside and outside entertainment areas were furnished beatifully. Our kiddos had a blast going back and forth between the pool and the game room, with the movie theater style popcorn and PS5. The layout was designed with family's in mind! We definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants a private Oasis all to themselves..

We had such a lovely stay here. The home was so beautiful and the kids lived in the pool. So peaceful sitting out back with the waterfall flowing into the pool and the kids swinging in the backyard. So much space in the kitchen and the beds were all very comfortable. Highly recommend!

We loved the stay and proximity to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The on-site amenities were great between the pool, hot tub, and variety of toys for the kids in the garage. The beds had great sheets and pillows and we appreciate how clean the property was for our arrival.

Nice home with modern furnishings and a lovely pool. The salt in the pool is not noticeable at all, and I liked it better than other pools because there was no strong chemical smell and it didnt leave my skin itchy.

Darlene's place was so peaceful with a nice private outdoor space for our morning coffee and evening leisure time. Our son loved the pool! Every place we needed to go was within a few minutes drive. Very nicely located if going to Bethel.

My stay at Linda's was only 1 night but if I am back in the area I will book again. She was flexible with my check in time when I needed to arrive late and her place is very comfortable. I had my kitty with me too and was very appreciative of her willingness to have my kitty too. Her place would be very comfortable for a much longer stay with the full kitchen and ample seating inside and outside.

Private, serene, and breathtakingly gorgeous are the words I’d use to describe Leah’s place. Keith, her father is as friendly as a teddy bear and upon checking in made us feel very welcome and safe. We 100% will come back to stay here again. If you’re looking for camping without all the frustration of setting a tent and bed up and all that, plus like to shower and use a real toilet, you can’t beat this place. A true gem in the trinity mountains. Nothing was left out, we had everything we needed and then some. Thank you guys for a new favorite place to escape the crazy world. -The Powers Family

It was a wonderful stay with my family and neice, the place felt very cozy and was much bigger than what we had expected.

Our stay was wonderful. We were able to visit with family that lived in the area. Get out and about and return to a very comfortable home in the evenings. Thank you Ryan for making our trip great. Hope to return again soon. Kathy and Frank Lake from Colorado.

We absolutely loved the space—such a beautiful cabin in the woods! The backyard was especially amazing; we had a great time around the bonfire under the stars. Everything about the place was fantastic, except for the hot water situation. Since we were a large group, the last few people had to take cold showers. Other than that, it was an incredible stay!

We had a great time with the family at this lodging. We were on the last two days of a 10 day family camping trip, and decided to spread out and relax after a week with the six of us in the tent trailer. There was plenty of room in the driveway (inside the gate) to position and park our pop-up camper. The kids loved all the amenities, especially the game room and the hot tub., and the solid high speed internet. Kitchen was well-appointed for cooking, lots of climate control options provided, and we had fun playing scratchy old Hank Williams and Benny Goodman records on the record player. The location was very central to the things we wanted to see. While lingering snow foiled our plans to peak Mt. Lassen, Old Station is between Lassen and Burney Falls, which was a great accessible attraction. And the town of Burney, with relatively cheap gas and grocery stores is a short detour on the way home. Thank you Joy for sharing your place with us!

Very clean and comfortable. Very quiet in the evenings. (Kids playing in the pool next door during the day... but what do you expect on a holiday when it's in the upper 80's!) The only issue we had was the door from the bedroom to the bathroom is a very noise sliding door and it's impossible for one person to use the door at night without waking the other person in the room. Beyond that, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

We loved our stay! My daughter got married at her house in Coffee Creek. The cabin was perfect for my family to stay in. You had everything we needed and more! Thank you!
