Scenic spots include Sandanbari, Sendanmatsushiki, and Engetsu Island, all within a 20-minute walk. There is also an information center nearby, and you can rent a bicycle, so we recommend renting a bicycle for the day. When you go to walk the Kumano Kodo, there are two buses in the morning from the nearest bus stop. Shirahama is recommended for those who want to enjoy both the sea and the mountains.

Kumano Kodo Kominka-ryo HAGI Dinner and Breakfast Plan, Room 301

This is a purely Japanese-style room. It is an old private house, but all the shared spaces have been renovated, so you can use them. We also provide an open deck with a view of the starry sky at night and a work room with air conditioning and heating to make your stay comfortable even for medium to long term stays. Dinner is a very large meal made with local seafood, meat and vegetables. We also sell bento boxes for lunch the next day.

Kumano Kodo Inn Hagi (Supper & Breakfast)

Kumano Kodo Inn Hagi is an old shop in the Nonaka area near Tsugizakura-oji just off the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route that has been renovated into a lodging. Kumano Kodo Inn Hagi is located between signpost 32 and 33. The entrance is on a road just below the Kumano Kodo trail. The house with the blue roof in a small collection of homes is a good landmark. ※Please inform me if there is any food that you can't eat.
