Amazing stay! Private and our little dog had the best time will definitely be visiting again.

We had a truly wonderful week at Sorrel House. A perfect house for family celebrations. We were celebrating two birthdays and we could bring all our friends and family together over the course of the week. Viki and Kevin are great hosts, very friendly and responsive. The house itself is srunning and beautifully and tastefully decorated with each bedroom having its own individual style. The beds are the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The linen was 100% cotton and felt luxurious. The house was spotless and had everything you could need. Viki and Kevin cooked us a delicious meal one evening. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The pool table was a bonus and was well used and having your own bar was a real novelty. You really do feel like you are staying in your very own hotel. Beautiful walks right outside your door and very dog friendly. All the big stores if you need them only 10 minute drive away. The hot tub was a nice addition too! We hope to return in the future

We had such a lovely stay! We arrived to lots of small additional touches, which made the stay very special. The hut was also incredibly comfortable and serene with it’s views overlooking the fields. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Such a lovely host also, would definitely recommend!! x

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Luxury Tree House. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures — spacious, cozy, and immaculately clean. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a definite highlight, especially in the evenings. Pam was a fantastic host — very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Check-in was seamless, and everything we needed was provided. We would highly recommend this unique property and hope to return again!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. So calm and peaceful and just what we needed to relax! We bought our dog who loved roaming around the enclosed garden. Beautiful well equipped cabin and hot tub.

Incredible stay. Nathan and Katie were the perfect hosts and created the most amazing little place to stay if visiting Alton towers. Highly highly recommend!

suz's place was amazing. clean, tidy and spacious. beds were comfortable and everything needed for cooking. the extra long dog lead was a godsend, with being able to let the dog on the lead and have room to explore. the hot tub was so relaxing. views were outstanding and we loved our stay here, would defo return

I had a lovely stay at the Farmhouse. The accommodation is beautiful and very comfortable and easy to find using Jennie's instructions. The surrounding area is very peaceful. Highly recommended and will be visiting again.

We found the Annex was a great location for us to reach all the areas we wanted and many more for another time. The over all setting is great and inside the Annex is homely and roomy with Laura and family very welcoming, including Otto and Olive. Warren and Rach

We had a wonderful stay, we only wish we'd booked for longer. The cottage was beautiful, exceptionally clean, spacious and had everything that we needed and the Aga was wonderful. It was quiet, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Victoria provided us with all the information we needed for the cottage and the local area and was available if we needed to make contact. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a wonderful break to celebrate our 20 Year wedding anniversary.

Such an astonishing and amazing place. Look even way better than the photos and descriptions. The first moment we step into this place we already decided to revisit here with our families next time. Will definitely miss this experience. We played piano all days long in the astonishing lobby and had afternoon tea in the elegant living room. There’s so much more to explore within the interior and exterior of this manor, wish we got longer time to stay🥹. Lama is such a responsible and lovely host, and our house manger- Charlie is also super helpful made us felt like home.

Jo place was really nice, the area was fantastic,the cottage had everything we needed . Jo greeted us on arrival which was nice and the cottage was nice and quiet which I loved,would definitely recommend staying here

We very much enjoyed our visit to Judith's barn in Kington, it was a great place to stay - comfortable, full of charm and character, and well-equipped. Judith was friendly, helpful and quickly responded to queries - we could not have asked for more and will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Olivet is a lovely bungalow in a great location and our host Helen was super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is well maintained with everything that we needed for our short stay. The decor is quite retro, a bit niche perhaps, but all rooms are very spacious. The local pub, the Red Lion, (5 mins walk) provides some hearty meals and great regional ales. We had a great time and would highly recommend Helen and Olivet if you are looking for a trouble-free and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

We recently stayed at Lake View Cottage and had a truly relaxing experience. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the lake and peaceful, natural scenery all around. The cottage had a lovely sense of privacy, making it feel like our own little retreat. The swimming pool was a big hit, especially with the kids—they had a blast! It was the perfect mix of comfort and tranquility. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy quality time with family.

The perfect escape! Farahnaz and Paul are really helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The Summerhouse is so secluded and cosy. it really is a proper escape from the "Busy Life" Shakurs on the corner is a great place to eat if you get the chance. Our third stay at the Shippon and our two autistic boys treat it like a home from home. So relaxing I didn’t want to leave. Our youngest loves water and animals so swimming, hot tub, fussing the lovely dogs, feeding Monty the horse carrots, all while being followed around by the chickens. He was in heaven! A great base for visiting family and lots to do nearby if we want to. This time we went to hoo farm, but we were generally all happy to stay at the Shippon. The Shippon is spotless and to cosy and comfortable. Our dogs love sitting on the patio watching the world go by and Newport dog park is literally a 5-10 minute walk and they love it. Thanks so much Sara and Phil, you are always so helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Easy walk to the pub across the fields and a lovely owner who was very responsive and willing to share her dogs with our children! Pool is a fab bonus and location is great for local villages and attractions, such as the Cotswold Wildlife Park. We didn’t want to leave and have already re booked!

Rosalind was a very friendly and communicative host. She offered a range of breakfasts and recommended some lovely local walks. The property was in a fab location with lots of nice walks/pubs nearby.

What a fantastic stay we had at Kate’s place. She was an incredible host, nothing was too much trouble for her. The pictures really don’t show how gorgeous it truly is & it’s so much larger than the pictures show. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back in the future xx

We had a wonderful weekend. Richard was a considerate host and very flexible when we were running late for check-in. The house and surrounding countryside were both beautiful and the pool was fantastic. We were a group of 4 couples, 4 infants, a toddler and a dog, so it could have been chaos. However, the whole stay was very easy and stress-free as all needs were met. The check-in was very thorough so we understood the quirks of the building. We would definitely stay again.
