Stunning Gothic Chapel near Hay-on-Wye

AndrewRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely family getaway at the chapel over Christmas. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. Matthew and Graham were fantastic hosts. They were very responsive and accommodated a few small requests we had.

Daisy Lodge in Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Having stayed in many Airbnb’s over the years, I can honestly say that Daisy Lodge is up there with the best. The accommodation is beautiful. The lodge is spacious, modern, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could ever need. The location is peaceful and quiet yet only a 15 min walk from Stratford. Pam was friendly and responded quickly to any questions; the information pack she sent out prior to our visit was fantastic and packed full with recommendations and relevant information about the Lodge and the local area. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer.

Beautifully renovated rural barn conversion.

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely few days away in Hannah and Ian's barn. A lovely location with a stunning drive in over the mountains. Our daughter, son in law and two little grandsons came also, so it was a great spacious place for us to enjoy. There was plenty of space for us all and the boys loved their animal themed bedroom. The rooms were lovely and decorated and the beds were really comfortable. Super equipped kitchen for us all. We loved the outside space with the table tennis table. A lovely relaxing stay.

The Stables

HamishRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The Stables. Where can I start? Usually with a new rental I ask myself “What would a foreign visitor think of this place?” Well at The Stables it would be England is a great place and this is the best. 5star and I list. Mirror with night time light so no walking everyone with the fan. Wi-fi over 50Mbps in the countryside! Location to nearby Ledbury, Ross on Wye and even Gloucester and Cheltenham. Best shower ever in a decade using AirBnB. Easy dedicated and secure parking.Quality smart TV in all rooms. Last but definitely not least owners Sally and Sheila so so helpful as well as the most comprehensive folders on using dishwasher, etc. Best ever thank you so much for our visit.

5 room/13 beds option - Tan-y-Garth Hall Retreat

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Ahh! Peace and quiet and INCREDIBLE views!Janet was the most adorable host! She was so kind, caring and thoughtful and helped us all feel relaxed and at home. If Janet is a bath bomb - fizzy, fun and colourful, Derek is the aromatherapy bath oil - calm, relaxing, serene and incredibly interesting to talk with. The small dining room was huge (by family standards). So nice to have space for a large group to sit at one table. It’s not modern, it’s not luxurious… but we found it utterly charming. Unique and quirky. We used it for an extended family get together and the kids loved the vast, mysterious nature of the place. Ideal for hilly walking. Super pub a few minutes walk away. Great value for money!

Tan Y Cestyll, Beautiful Cottage with Stream

SophieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Stunning location, surrounded by the forest birds and the constant relaxing water. A family ranging from 7 to 82 years old, kids playing in the river, gentle strolls around the forest behind, a short drive to Llandovery which had everything you need, pubs, restaurants, quaint antique shops and castle ruins. The house and kitchen was well equipped, comfy beds and enough space that 9 of us weren’t on top of each other. Emma was responsive, friendly and helpful - definitely would stay again.

The Little Dairy - Nestled on a working farm

KimRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The Little Dairy is exactly as everyone else has described it. It was a pleasure to stay somewhere well-designed, spotlessly clean and well-cared for with plenty of space. Sue and Craig went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. We enjoyed the wood-fired stove! This is a good spot, away from the busyness of towns, if you're sightseeing or travelling around Shropshire and South Staffordshire. Half-an-hour from the Ironbridge Valley of Invention. Thank you, Sue

Luxury glamping wagon Hodnet - wood-fired hot tub

LyndsayRating, 5 stars1 month ago
These little lodges are a real hidden gem! Equipped with everything you could ever need, it felt like a real escape from the world. The lodge was spotless and we enjoyed a lovely glass of fizz in the hot tub (plastic of course!) the hot tub maintenence of cleaning and topping up the logs daily was a service we've never had when staying elsewhere before but it was great and very much appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Cathedral View -Romantic Country House 1 bed apt.

BlythRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely gorgeous place to stay in a beautiful, quiet, peaceful little town. The space is so stunning, very comfortable and the bed is one of the best I’ve slept in! Great location for exploring places like Coleford, Ross on Wye and the Forest of Dean, and the area itself is lovely to walk around and take in, especially the beautiful church. Super duper clean inside the accommodation, and having a dedicated parking space outside was a bonus. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the area, you will not regret it!

For a unique immersive Ludlow experience!

NickyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Roy was a great host , very responsive , messaged us quickly , especially as we booked our stay late. Apartment is stunning, lovely antiques, paintings- a gallery in the open plan kitchen lounge dining room upstairs. Downstairs , has a comfy bedroom with ensuite and hallway & toilet. Lovely pretty courtyard with outdoor seating , access from the back door. Everywhere has books about Ludlow and Leaflets on where to visit. Roy and his wife had thought of everything: fresh roses in rooms, kitchen well equipped , kind & thoughtful of them to leave fresh bread eggs , butter, yoghurt, milk, strawberries, granola, juice and & beer. We loved our stay , it truly is a gorgeous apartment in a Georgian house , in Broad street. 2 mins walk to shops & restaurants. Also Roy let us park our car in his private parking space behind his garden. Access to this was easy from apartment back door. The place was very quiet , and homely. We stayed due to a family wedding nearby , but will be back. Thanks

Recent Cotswold Barn Conversion near Bibury

TracyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband and I stayed at The Milking Parlour for three nights whilst visiting the Cotswolds. From the moment we turned into the farm, we knew we had arrived somewhere special. Ian has created a fantastic destination. We were utterly charmed as we walked in and took in the layout and decor. It really is the loveliest barn conversion and the location is so peaceful and relaxing. With a bedroom flanking each end and marvellous floor to ceiling glass windows that look out over the orchard, it is such a peaceful, well decorated home. Ian is an exceptional host. Very friendly, with wonderful suggestions for exploring the area and also giving us the opportunity to look inside of the other rentals tucked away nearby, should we want to return another time. And we do! I can’t recommend this property highly enough! This is a beautiful escape for a relaxing holiday, in a wonderful area and managed by a thoughtful, generous host.

Grange Barn, Ashford In The Water

StephenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
If I could own a bolt hole in the Peak District this would be ideal. The barn conversion has been really well done, provides authenticity with comfort and convenience. The place was immaculate, bed and bed linen all super comfortable. Bathroom all clean and shower pressure and temperature all great. Main room worked well with comfortable sofa, kitchen had all that was needed. Wifi was all good. The location is peaceful and private away from the main house with only fields and old barns for company but remains close to pubs and the village itself. Worth noting that the property has its own 'farm' track for access, the entrance to which is a turning off Baslow Road about 100m away from the turning into the village itself - it does have a name plaque 'Grange Barn' on the wall. We found the postcode in a Satnav gets you close but not quite to the actual turning. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

Luxurious caravan in Lyons holiday park, Rhyl

RachelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Nathan and Toby kept us informed every step of the way. The caravan was in a lovely central location and was extremely clean upon arrival. You could smell how freshly clean the caravan which was very pleasant. Nathan and Toby communicated with us to enable us to find the caravan with no problems and ensured that we had managed to find it and were happy with our stay. They were readily available should we need them. Thankfully we didn’t as we had everything we could possibly need. Thank you both for a very enjoyable stay. We had a very comfortable stay and will be back in the future.

Peak District Country Farmhouse

AllanahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved staying at Caroline's! We (family of 4 with a 7yo & 1yo) stayed with friends (2 adults & 2yo + dog) for a long weekend. The house was beautiful inside and out- even better than the description and photos! It was clean, with a well-stocked Kitchen (cafetiere, scissors, peeler), and Caroline had even left us some biscuits. The girls had a great time playing in the garden and with Maddie (Caroline's dog) who would make regular appearances. Caroline was so friendly and even made some recommendations for walks. The cows in the field nearby were a great distraction for the girls too. Our youngest kids were a bit small to go for long walks but there were still plenty of shorter walks and playgrounds nearby plus a garden centre with soft play. We had a lovely, lovely time! Caroline didn't forget any little touches, like cushions for the outdoor chairs and TV with Sky etc.
