Farmstay holiday rentals in Sicily

Meine Tochter und ich haben 4 sehr schöne Tage bei Antonino und seiner Familie verbracht. Antonio hat uns viele tolle Tipps gegeben und war immer sehr hilfsbereit. Das Anwesen ist sehr gut gepflegt und wir haben uns direkt zuhause gefühlt. Es gibt jede Menge zu erkunden und tolle Ausflugsziele. Der Ort Cassibile ist gut erreichbar und wirklich sehr nett. Ein richtig gewachsener Ort mit netten Menschen. Es gibt alles was man braucht und Sykarus und Noto sind sehr gut erreichbar. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen, wenn ich auf Sizilien bin.

We highly recommend staying at Francesco's country house. It's very spacious and the view from the newly built veranda is wonderful. Don't be startled when Francesco wanders around the place as he is still very active on the land around the house. Thank you Francesco!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Andreas kleinem Haus. Wir haben uns prächtig erholt und die Lage ist top. Ruhig und zentral zugleich. In kleinem Nachbarort bekommt man alles, was man braucht. Wir haben gut geschlafen! Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet! Vielen Dank an Manfred, der uns herzlich begrüßt hat und ein herzlicher und freundlicher Ansprechpartner war.

Amazing place! We absolutely loved the house, the garden and the view. It had everything we need and we enjoyed having long sunny breakfast mornings on the terrace with sea view before starting our trips around the area. The location is a short drive from Sampieri village which has an amazing beach with good parking facilities, a few beach bars/restaurants and a small Despar supermarket (they also can make delicious sandwiches for you in the salumeria). The house was our base to explore the Southeast during our trip around Sicily and we visited Siracusa, Noto, Modica, Ragusa and Scicli, stunning! Our stay was in May and seems around that time there are lots of moscitos in the evening at every place we went to so remember to bring some spray, creme etc if you have issues with that like me. We had wonderful days and it was also very nice to meet our host Elisabeth in person on the last day of our visit. Thank you for having us!

From meeting us at the front gate to the last breakfast of quail eggs and chocolate cakelets and the send off with Chika's lemonade, we thoroughly enjoyed the sincere hospitality and peaceful garden atmosphere. Andrea's stories of his traveling life well lived and Chika's quiet gestures of intentional hospitality create travel joys during resting downtime at this "the way it used to be" airbnb. Bed was comfy, furnishings expressed the hosts' lives and values, conversation was thought-provoking and enjoyable but not intrusive if you want some quiet time. Andrea took me to buy red tuna in the market.Easy to zip into Trapani, 25 minutes to Segesta, 45 to Zigaro Reserve (cliff walk with exceptional beaches, make yourself get up early and take water and water shoes and borrow Andrea's mask and snorkel). We did not do this but if you are driving north from Agrogento, Andrea said that he likes the coastal town of Mazara which is south of Marsala.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans ce logement parfaitement conforme à l’annonce. Situé en pleine campagne, il offre une tranquillité absolue tout en étant idéalement placé pour explorer le nord-ouest de l’île. Les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse rare : accueil chaleureux, petites attentions délicates, fruits frais et même un frigo bien garni à notre arrivée. Le logement est typique, confortable et très propre. À noter, la présence de quelques animaux de la ferme, comme des chiens qui peuvent aboyer, mais cela ajoute au charme rural du lieu. Einfach magisch! Das Grundstück ist unglaublich schön – mitten in der Natur, mit herrlicher Ruhe und einer traumhaften Aussicht. Das gemütliche Haus ist bestens ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom liebevoll angelegten Garten, der zum Lesen und Entspannen einlädt. Immer wieder kamen Tiere vorbei, was den Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht hat. Eine ganz besondere Gegend – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Sehr entspanntes Anwesen direkt am Etna - etwas rustikaler aber mit sehr viel Charme. Wir waren mit Baby hier und haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und die ruhige Berglage genossen. Vor Ort gab es alles, was wir brauchten und auch die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Ende Mai war es dort auf 700m Höhe noch etwas frisch, weshalb wir den Pool nicht wirklich nutzen konnten. Ich denke am besten kommt man hier im Sommer hin, wenn es an der Küste schon zu heiß ist und man vor der Hitze fliehen will. Wir konnten den großen Außenbereich aber trotzdem sehr geniessen. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich und die Anfahrt von der Küste ist stellenweise steil, kurvig und zieht sich ziemlich hin - da hat man nicht sehr oft Bock drauf.. Wir haben auch deshalb nur jeden zweiten Tag Ausflüge gemacht und ansonsten viel am Haus entspannt. Andrea war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und obwohl er selbst in den Urlaub gefahren ist, sehr gut zu erreichen.

Without hesitation, I can say this was one of the most amazing stays/experiences I've ever had while traveling. There were eleven of us including children and the villa was absolutely perfect for our week-long holiday in Sicily. First of all, communication with the host was flawless and the hospitality was first class. The keyholder went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, and we received little treats nearly everyday which only added to our satisfaction. If there was an issue, the keyholder made sure it was immediately taken care of without question. Regarding the villa, it is spectacular! You can get lost in it while exploring the hallways and towers -- the kids thought they were living in a real castle. While it's not in pristine condition, the little imperfections add to the homely feel of the place. The infinity pool and pool bar are also highlights of the villa, and they're perfect for lazy afternoons and enjoying the views of Mt. Etna and surrounding countryside.

Wir waren mit unseren 2 Töchtern (7 und 11) dort und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Pool ist großartig! Der Check In war sehr flexibel, das Haus gut zu finden. Der Weg zum Haus ist etwas holprig, aber machbar. Wir haben Ausflüge nach Noto, Avola, Syrakus, zum Cava Grande und an einige umliegende Strände gemacht. Alles war traumhaft schön! Das Haus ist hierfür ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt. Unsere Kontakte vor Ort haben immer schnell geantwortet und gute Tipps gegeben. Auch der Check Out hat gut geklappt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Elisa and Nino were wonderful hosts. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond… We loved the animals (dogs, cats, donkeys, pigs, sheep, goats, cows, chickens) and the scenery was beautiful. They cooked us dinner the first night with wine (for a small fee). Would recommend for a quiet peaceful stay on Sicily :-) thank you

Gorgeous location, fabulous hosts - nothing was too much trouble. A really lovely family who gave great recommendations and were so helpful in general. The view is far better than described you can actually see the sea from the terrace. A great family break!

Just returned from a wonderful 11 days at the villa. The accommodation and grounds were more than enough room for all 9 of us (5 adults 4 children). The villa is super clean, nicely presented and situated in a beautiful rural location, which is very accessible from one of the main roads. We loved the large pool and there was plenty of room poolside for the kids to play football and have fun. It was also very safe for our adventurous two year old. Kathryn and her husband were first class hosts, providing us with useful information, sweet treats, and allowing us to pick fresh fruit from the farm. They were attentive to our every need. We also enjoyed using the barbecue, watching the sunset and having walks around the farm. Piazza Armerina is a nice, quiet little town. There are some good restaurants and people are very friendly. We also visited Taomirna, Enna and Caltagirone. It was a perfect getaway and we would definitely book again.

Mein Freund und ich waren eine Woche in der Unterkunft bei Magali. Wir waren direkt begeistert, die Wohnung war super ausgestattet, bietet hohen Komfort, und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Terrasse hat uns einen wunderschönen Blick über Olivenhaine zum Meer geboten. Vor der Ferienwohnung verläuft auch ein schöner Fahrradweg, in dem wir durch Iydilische Landschaften fahren könnten Richtung Porto Pablo (Wunderschöner Strand). Fahrräder könnten wir bei auch Magali mieten. Es gibt eine Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der nähe mit einem Penny, der reichlich Auswahl hat an verschiedesten Lebensmitteln. Magali ist ein super Gastgeberin, und hat uns bei jeder Angelegenheit weiter helfen können. Wir waren wirklich mehr als zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt, gerne wieder :)

My family and friends had a simply wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. We chose it because it was a little further off the beaten path and more “authentic old Italian villa” feeling than other places in Sicily. And it delivered exactly the experience we were looking for and more. The villa itself was spacious and yet adorable. Huge old and beautiful windows and doors to bring the outside in. Had everything we needed. The views and outdoor space around the villa were also so lovely and enjoyable. Beautiful little olive orchard. Terraces and outdoor entertaining spaces galore. The game room and pool were awesome for our kids. The pool is unheated, but warm enough to use mid April. But the best part about this villa was the experiences Rosario coordinated for us. We had 2 nights where a chef came over to cook us dinner. The chef turned out to be the neighbor, who cooked the most delicious Sicilian meals we’ve had. She also arranged a visit to a farm and limoncello maker. Amazing!

Can’t say enough amazing things about this place and the host, Cristof! We loved getting to know him and his girlfriend. They have such an amazing property, with quality food, and great staff. The breakfast that was included was huge and has so much variety. We opted to eat the restaurant both nights and loved it. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Petit studio très confortable pour 4 personnes. Situé en plein cœur de la campagne avec une magnifique vue sur l’Etna. Serene est très agréable et disponible. Nous avons pu acheter des souvenirs directement chez elle. Je recommande fortement ce studio.

Viviana and her mum were great hosts and helped us in every way they could. The location is superb, within a few minutes walk from a very quiet beach. The surroundings are beautiful with olive and lemon trees all over the place. We had one of the most relaxing holidays ever!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen. Schon vorab war die Kommunikation super und wir konnten auch vor Ort jede Frage stellen, haben Tipps für die Gegend wie auch für tolle Restaurant etc bekommen. Die Anlage ist ein Traum, die einzelnen Wohnungen sind wunderschön restauriert und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so benötigt. Der Pool ist fantastisch, der Blick auf den Ätna (gerade bei Sonnenuntergang) beeindruckend. Auch die vielen Informationen, die in jeder Wohnung liegen, sind hilfreich. Besonders interessant war die Beschreibung der Restauration des gesamten Anwesens - bewundernswert, mit wie viel Liebe und Mühe dieser Ort wieder zum Leben erweckt wurde! Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Villa Cozzo Coniglio ist ein wunderbares Anwesen in einer großartigen Gegend. Wir - eine neunköpfige Famile im Alter von 2 - 73 Jahren - haben hier herrliche 10 Tage verbracht. Jeder fand für sich den perfekten Platz zum Entspannen. Die Räume sind hell und geräumig und gut mit Schränken ausgestattet. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat einen wunderschönen Blick über das Vendicari Naturreservat zum Meer. Die Küche ist sehr großzügig bestückt und macht mit ihren warmen Farben Lust auf's Kochen. Auch lässt sich der Aperitiv sehr kommunikativ an der Theke - mit Blick auf's Meer - einnehmen! Der Pool ist absolut super und lässt keine Wünsche offen! Es hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen - wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Unser herzlicher Dank geht auch an Sara und Corrado, die sich um das eine oder andere Problemchen sehr hilfsbereit und schnell gekümmert haben.

Die Unterkunft war einfach großartig! Der Ort ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen und bietet einen traumhaften Ausblick – besonders die Sonnenuntergänge waren wunderschön. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Garten, in dem wir uns – je nach Jahreszeit – an den Obstbäumen bedienen durften. Schon bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir mit einer kleinen Leckerei begrüßt, und auch zwischendurch gab es immer mal wieder eine nette kulinarische Aufmerksamkeit. Was unseren Aufenthalt aber besonders gemacht hat, war die herzliche und überaus freundliche Vermieterin. Sie war jederzeit hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Ein späterer Check-out war kein Problem und wurde uns sogar aktiv angeboten, da zufällig am nächsten Tag keine neuen Gäste erwartet wurden. Insgesamt war es für uns ein rundum gelungener und erholsamer Aufenthalt. Vielen herzlichen Dank – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Davide’s flat is easy to find, just a 2-minute drive from the main road, yet perfectly quiet and peaceful. The apartment is beautifully decorated, modern, and well-equipped. Beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen, while basic, has everything needed for a week-long stay. Davide thoughtfully provides both pool and bath towels. The outdoor space is a highlight—immaculately maintained gardens and a lovely pool ideal for relaxing in the sun. Secure gated parking is available via key fob. The surrounding area is stunning, with Alcamo just 5–10 minutes away and the picturesque coastal town of Castellammare del Golfo about 12 minutes by car. It’s also within driving distance of Palermo, San Vito Lo Capo, Scopello, and the hidden gem of Guidaloca Beach. A fantastic stay—great value and highly recommended. A farm stay in the middle of the country, very quiet and peaceful, complete with pool! Perfect hosts, great breakfasts, very warm and welcoming hosts. Our accommodations were perfect, great farm / Italian style locations. The location great for day trips up and down the coast.

This little cottage is a gem. We liked its location in the countryside amid olive trees, yet close enough to town and Mt Etna excursions. We encountered unusually windy and rainy weather so we were very grateful for the wood fireplace and cosy feel of the place. Host Marco was always responsive and so very pleasant to deal with. This is a family cottage and it has a very warm and positive feel. Thank you, Marco, for sharing it with us!
