Apartment is nicely furnished and spread over two floors with two bathrooms. On the ground floor is a double bedroom and a small bedroom with a bed with the possibility to set up a bunk bed. The kitchen is sufficiently furnished. A washing machine is provided, Wi-Fi is not provided. The apartment is centrally located on a small side street. The train station is not far away. However, the train traffic is not disruptive. You can hear the occasional train announcements from the train station. Overall, the stay was pleasant. Communication with the host was quick and straightforward.

Beautiful and cozy house with large indoor and outdoor spaces and a beautiful view of the sea, reachable on foot. Simone and her family were kind and courteous, from the moment of the reception until the departure. Recommended.

The rental is large and well-equipped, outdoor shower is appreciated. The rooms are spacious. The accommodation is very clean. Note, it can be very hot in the accommodation. Domenico is very helpful and pleasant. We had a great 3-week vacation. Car needed. Beautiful beaches.

Very well equipped house, spacious, with terrace, garden (common) and private parking in front of the house. Maximum availability and courtesy of the host (Valeria). There is no direct access to the sea but within walking distance there are the most beautiful beaches on the Costa degli Dei. p.s. remember to bring or buy everything you need for the kitchen and bathroom (salt, oil, detergent, foam bath, etc., etc., which are not available), which are not available).

The apartment, located on a small promontory in front of the sea, is small but equipped with every comfort, but above all with a magnificent view that fills your eyes. Everything is beautiful, superlative for Mr. Giuseppe's welcome.

Giuseppe's apartment is in a quiet area, high in Santa Domenica, and you need a car to get around. The Recidence is still under renovation so there is some chaos in the parking area, but surely once the work is finished it will be quieter. The little house is small but has everything you need to live there, the only important thing missing is the mosquito nets that are essential in a hilly area. As for the washing machine, it is important to know that it is only one for the entire building, sometimes we waited a while before we could use it because not always when the other guests used it they were present and often ended long before they came to retrieve the linens. At night it feels great, there is a very cool air and a pleasant breeze that replaces the air conditioning very well. I want to clarify that Giuseppe is an exceptional host, always responsive, super kind and helpful! Thank you!!

I was traveling solo and the area is very safe, especially for a solo woman. The house is in a perfect location and if you are traveling to Tropea, this is the place to stay—only a 15-minute drive. Beautiful, well-kept and authentic place. Lovely garden and pool with beautiful and clean view. Actually 7 minutes from the beach by car. The owners were very welcoming and flexible , they also made us find groceries at home and gave us the vegetables from their garden and the fresh eggs from the chicken coop! We absolutely recommend the place! Nb: it's important to keep in mind that the other apartment that accommodates 5 people in the same property is just 5 meters from our rooms and the tables to eat in the garden a few meters from each other :so great for two families of friends looking to join for the holidays

We were guests of Mr. Francesco alla Formaggera for a week. La Formaggera is located in a unique place for the landscape that surrounds it and a little enchanted by the saturated atmosphere of history that you can breathe in it. The house is simple, but delightfully furnished; the kitchen is well organized and equipped with everything you need and you can have lunch and dinner outside, cool. Far from the chaos, you can rest in the shade of the pines, surrounded by prickly pears and Calabra nature. The beautiful pool and its covered patio, much appreciated on warm days, are certainly a strong point. The sea is close and in the nearest town there are supermarkets and many other shops including the excellent Lagani dairy and the nearby pastry shop. The village of Badolato, a few kilometers away, is worth visiting.

My stay at the San Ferdinando residence was simply fantastic! The property is modern and well cared for, with all the necessary comforts to make your stay extremely pleasant. Marino has provided us with valuable tips about the area and local attractions, allowing us to live an authentic and unforgettable experience. Your care in making our stay perfect is truly commendable. I highly recommend the San Ferdinando residence to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing and comfortable vacation, with the security of being welcomed by an exceptional host like Marino.

Fulvia was very sweet and helpful. We could just ask her anything, and if there was anything we needed, she would take care of it. The house is very beautiful, but the kitchen equipment is a little sparse. Fulvia, however, helped us with what we asked for.

In all, Vittoria’s place was an idyllic home base for exploring eastern Calabria, but poor and confusing communication made us almost cancel our booking a week before our trip. We weren’t even sent the address until the day before arrival, but it was worth persevering, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peace, quiet, and solitude are key factors for us when booking holiday accommodations and the listing was so vague, we had no idea until we actually arrived whether we would be sharing the space with other travellers. As it turned out, we were in a spacious masseria, surrounded by citrus groves in which we could sit and watch the stars at night. There were two other families staying in the same complex, but we rarely saw or heard them, though future guests could be faced with all-night partyers or noisy children playing tag among the bergamot trees. It’s a risk to consider. Our living space was roomy, easily sleeping four or five, with two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a dining/lounge area. The main, upstairs bedroom was extremely hot, but we asked for a fan, which combined with the downstairs air conditioning cooled things off enough. We cook a lot on holidays and the kitchen was adequate but lacking in basic equipment such as a cheese grater and wine glasses and absolutely no essentials such as salt, oil, or water are provided. There were a few eccentric niggles with the property – we never could figure out where to put our rubbish, for example – but nothing that prevented us from enjoying the glorious surroundings. The masseria is three minutes’ drive from the agriturismo that is run by the same owner. The agriturismo clearly hosts many more guests than the masseria, but we were there during the Covid-19 crisis and few others were to be seen. Organic meals are served there (25 Euros for a four-course meal) but the one night we booked a table got cancelled because the restaurant was closed on Monday. We were offered lemonade, fruit, coffee, and crostata upon arrival and departure, and I got the feeling that they would happily provide anything you asked for. The star attraction for us was the glorious swimming pool, beautifully set in an enclosed garden area with banana trees, lounge chairs, and a spectacular view. Again, perhaps because of the dates we were there or our non-Italian schedules, we had the pool to ourselves throughout most of our stay. This may not always be the case, as the bewildering instructions for the pool specify limits for swimming times and number of people allowed in the pool. Now that we know the details of the place and some of the mysteries are solved, we would be much more comfortable booking and staying there again and would recommend it to other travellers looking for a lovely and well-located place to stay in Calabria.

The house is very nice, equipped with what you need to take a relaxing vacation, the residence is equipped with a pool surrounded by greenery, clean and cared for. The house is practically 2 km from the center of Tropea, there are supermarkets of all kinds within a mile. There are wonderful beaches nearby, especially the Riaci Bay.
