Holiday rentals with a patio in Sidney

What a special space! From the moment we walked in we felt right at home and could not believe how beautiful the views were! We loved sitting on the patio to start and end our days admiring the peaceful harbour. The town also had a few nice restaurant options, a delicious bakery, and cute shops to enjoy as well! We were even lucky enough to briefly meet Astrid and Stephen who were both such gems, their love of the harbour and their home is very evident! I feel lucky we were able to stay at their space during our trip to Vancouver island and wound highly recommend this home!

Linda and Albert were fantastic hosts - friendly, helpful and respectful. The unit was utterly perfect - stunning view, very comfortable, and well equipped with lots of extra touches to make you feel at home. Gorgeous garden and lots of walking trails within easy access of the property. We loved our stay here, and would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely lovely in every way!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Easy, simple and a property that exceeded our expectations. The view is second to none. The place is very comfortable and well laid out inside and out. Everything was awesome and I’d highly recommend a stay. It wil not disappoint.

Incredibly immaculate place, looks exactly like the pictures, place was spotless and perfectly equipped, host was immediately responsive and helped us with all our needs. Location was great and convenient.

Nina has a beautiful and peaceful space! It‘s easy accessible with the car. Everything you need is there and she was even flexible with the checkout time. We would recommend and come back anytime.

The suite was beautiful, everything you need. The pillows on the bed were awesome! The location was excellent as we could walk! Highly recommend!

Nice place! Garden was amazing. The suite was very cozy and felt like home. Megan was great with responding to us and communicating. Overall we loved our stay. Two minor things to note is the suite above is also an Airbnb so depending on who’s renting that at the time you might experience some noise especially in the bedroom. Other issue is lots of insects and spiders which comes hand in hand with having a nice garden.

My parents stayed here while I was recovering from a medical issue. We live in the neighbourhood and this location was perfect for us. It was so good, now my parents would rather stay here than my place 😆. Thank you Russell!

Beautiful place with an amazing view! We really loved staying at Dan and Sam’s place. It was so peaceful to look out at the view of the ocean and walk down to the private beach. We even saw a family of otters the first day. The kitchen has everything you need, and the shower had perfect water pressure. We loved the motorized blinds in the bedroom. The location was convenient to do a day trip in Victoria (about 45 min to an hour). There was also an awesome restaurant nearby called Wild Mountain, and tons of hiking nearby. Highly recommend for a stay in southern Vancouver Island!

We had the good fortune to run into Jennifer when we pulled in to check in and had a lovely conversation. Her place is immaculate and the neighbourhood is really nice. We felt very safe in this area. Jennifer gave us some recommendations on where to eat and hike and I must say, the "local" Stoney Hill Trail is not difficult and rewards with spectacular viewpoints. I would say a must see if staying here. The Hand of Man Museum is literally in the neighbourhood and a quirky yet surprisingly comprehensive collection well worth checking out. Lots of eateries and things to do, easy to travel 'down' to Victoria or 'up' to Parksville and beyond. She is a very responsive host and was kind enough to go out and purchase some tower fans for each of the bedrooms when I expressed concern that the week of our visit may be hot. All around 5/5, don't hesitate to book. Thanks Jennifer, it was so nice meeting you!

We had a really good time during our stay with our 22 months old boy. The place was peaceful and clean. There was enough space for the kid to play.

Top notch. Large, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds. A little off-the-beaten-track, but beautiful location and very quiet. Close enough to Victoria and Buchart Gardens.

What a wonderful place. House was bright and airy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Lots of cupboard space in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. We were 4 adults and there was tons of space for all of us. It was a great experience and although it was a bit of a drive into Victoria it was definitely worth it.

I arrived to a vase of fresh picked flowers from the garden! It was a bright, beautiful space. As a single woman travelling, I was made to feel very safe in this home. Emily is an incredible host with a clean and quaint space. Will definitely be back! 💕💕💕💕

Excellent stay here! Private everything, no shared spaces except driveway. *note: Driveway is Not flat, it's quite slanted/FYI. Kitchen is GREAT if you like cooking, LOVED gas range/gas oven, only missing a Glass dish for oven/chicken/baking. Plenty of utensils, didn't really cook a ton so can't think of anything 'missing' TERRIFIC laundry on-site, just didn't see it at first, it's behind the closet door in the foyer. Shower/bathroom is Great! Has "rain" shower heads over your head, Handy soap/shampoo/conditioner etc on a corner rack so if you forget to bring, no worries ! Counter space is good. Lighting is good. This space was built into the rear space behind garage and butts up to a rock wall at the bedroom/bathroom. Daylight comes through but the only outdoor view is living room/patio. Patio has table and 4 chairs. Only negative would be the dull thud pitter patter of a 3 yr old running around ;-) very understandable, but mostly between 3pm/4pm and 7pm-ish. Overall, a terrific stay!

We had a great stay at Fatbardh’s place. It was comfortable and clean and an enjoyable 3 nights. I love the safety and security of the home. It’s close to my favourite sushi restaurant ever. The shoppers drug mart is nearby, too. You will love your stay here!

We loved our stay here. The location is great, we were able to walk to almost everywhere and there were so many great places to eat within walking distance, it was hard to choose! The building is very secure and safe. The bed was so comfortable, I think I slept better there than at home in my own bed. We would definitely stay here again!

Lesley's home is a great place for a couple's getaway. Great location with amazing views of the bay from the 15th floor. The walkability score is 95+. We had rented a car but didn't even use it. We were able to fill our 4 day vacation by walking everywhere we wanted to go. Great food, entertainment and shopping within a few short blocks.

We loved staying at Kevin's place. The location in downtown was awesome. The views from the deck were stunning and the place was a great size. Kevin was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We look forward to staying here again.

The space was beautiful inside and out. Very walkable to the wharf and anywhere you want to go downtown. I would definitely stay there again! Our host Tim was very friendly and responsive but honestly there were absolutely no issues. I would highly recommend!

This condo was perfect for our family trip, it was a good size for the four of us and the beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep. What we loved most about the condo was the location and the patio. We walked everywhere during the day and relaxed on the patio in the evenings. Restaurants are everywhere in walking distance with a convenience store below, a restaurant and Starbucks across the street. I’d highly recommend Glenn & Gillian’s place for a comfortable stay & location wise, We will be back!

What an excellent spot to stay in Victoria. Would suggest this spot for anyone to stay!!
