Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sigtuna

Karl’s home was beautiful! I stayed here with a group of friends during the marathon weekend. The home was spacious, light and decorated perfectly. It was very easy to get into the city, either by bus or cab, and the local shop was only a short walk away. I’d highly recommend! Thanks so much Karl

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Susanna and Krister's listing. The decor was welcoming and beautifully curated. The outdoor spaces were little slices of heaven we were eager to enjoy. Susanna and Krister were lovely and attentive hosts and we would love to stay here again!

Das Haus war wunderschön und Jenny ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit liebevollen Details. Die Umgebung ist toll und man kann zu Fuß zu dem kleinen Weiler Ulva gehen, um gemütlich eine Tasse Kaffee zu drinken oder bei einem der Kunsthandwerker zu stöbern. Während unseres Aufenthaltes war dort auch ein Flohmarkt und ein Oldtimer Autoclub trifft sich dort regelmäßig. Es ist sehr einfach nach Upsalla zu kommen. Staying at this lakeside house by Kroksjön was an exceptional experience. The cleanliness was impeccable everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The fireplaces were a highlight. Both the traditional wood-burning and modern styles created a warm, cozy atmosphere in the evenings a perfect way to unwind in the middle of nature. The private hot tub overlooking the lake was absolutely amazing. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by peaceful nature was incredibly relaxing and added a special touch to the whole experience. The house is surrounded by pure nature, peaceful, serene, and filled with the calming sound of birdsong. Wallbox charger for our electric car was a major convenience. Highly recommended.

Johanna är den bästa värd man kan tänka, omtänksam och välkomnande. Vi var där i två nätter för att ha 70-års kalas med barn och barnbarn. Den rymliga slottsflygeln och trädgården passade oss perfekt. Johanna hade pyntat och servade dessutom med is till champagnekylaren. Barnen älskade besöket hos dom ulliga och gulliga kalvarna tillsammans med Johanna.

Vår vistelse i Ekolsund var härlig. Huset var vackert och bekvämt. Huset har en stor trädgård med egen brygga ner till vattnet. Vår värd Daniel, var mycket tillmötesgående och mån om att vi skulle ha en god upplevelse. Jag kan varmt rekommendera att hyra Daniels hus.

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

We stayed with our two sons for five nights at Toms appartment and felt immediately at home. It had everything we needed, many things to visit nearby and just down the street. Tom and Sunnöve asked in advance if we feel comfortable. Our great plus was the rooftop terrace. We loved sitting there in the evening, having a glas of wine and watching the silouhette of Stockholm. Lovely and well-equipped apartment in a peaceful neighborhood in walking distance to the city center. I had a very pleasant stay!

Charming home with updated amenities in the perfect location to explore Stockholm. Bella was a very welcoming and helpful host. She provided information on all of her favorite places. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in Gamla Stan, einem äußerst zentralen Viertel, das es ermöglicht, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, die Küche bietet alles, was man für die Zubereitung eigener Mahlzeiten braucht. Es ist der perfekte Rückzugsort nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in der Stadt. Die Sauberkeit der Räumlichkeiten war tadellos und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Diese Wohnung ist ideal für alle, die Stockholm entdecken möchten, ohne auf Komfort und Gemütlichkeit verzichten zu müssen. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt! Danke Elisabeth und Nils für eure grosszügige Gastfreundschaft.

Nach unserem sehr einfachen Check-In haben wir uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen, bis kurz vor der Abreise leider über uns jemand einzog, der sich sehr laut durch die Wohnung bewegte. Bei dem schönen Wetter wäre es schön gewesen, man hätte es draußen noch ein wenig genießen können. Leider lädt der Garten wenig dazu ein, es fehlen ein paar Liegestühle oder ähnliches. Man gelangt sehr gut zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten in die Innenstadt von Uppsala mit vielen tollen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt bei Aneta, vielen Dank!

We had a wonderful stay at Anna’s house. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The place is incredibly peaceful, perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful walks through the forest just around the corner. The house itself is spotless, minimalist, and thoughtfully arranged. Everything was exactly as described. Anna, the host, is truly a ray of sunshine; kind, welcoming, and always helpful. We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Magnus was an excellent communicator and his place was as described. The location was great and we walked everywhere because the weather was beautiful. We did a bike tour, the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and ate a lot of great food! It was so nice to come back to a comfy apartment to relax. The washer/dryer was a nice benefit as we prepared for our next journey. Thank you for a great stay Magnus!

Das Haus ist ein Traum - noch besser, als wir erwartet haben! Tolle Aussicht mit Meerblick durch ein großes Panoramafenster vom Wohnbereich und von der Terrasse aus, idyllische Umgebung mit stilvollen Schwedenhäusern, absolut ruhig und in der näheren Umgebung viele schöne Ziele gut zu erreichen. Das Haus ist sehr gut und stilvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Hanna und Jonas sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter, haben uns selten im Urlaub so wohlgefühlt! Vielen herzlichen Dank!

Frida var fantastiskt både innan- och under hela vår vistelse. Svarade snabbt och var alltid flexibel med våra önskemål. Huset var vackert beläget och hade allt man önskade för en tjejhelg. Skulle gärna vilja komma tillbaka hit någon annan gång.

Vi var ett gäng vänner som tillbringade en helg i Birgittas underbara hus. Huset är stort, vackert, charmigt och ligger lagom avsides i underbara omgivningar. Som ett litet Toscana mitt i Vallentuna! Vi är så nöjda och hoppas kunna komma tillbaka igen.

Lennart and Chicki's house is a stunning stay. The view is just amazing and sitting watching the boats go by was so calming and relaxing. it's not far to drive to Saltsjõbaden where there are restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. It's best to have a car to stay here. The fact that it's slightly off the beaten path is the thing that makes it so special. The house has everything you need - comfy beds, great shower, big outdoor area, nice kitchen. Chicki was great to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂

Fantastic location and exactly as described. We enjoyed the sauna, the views and a fully equipped kitchen for a great weekend with friends. Absolutely recommendable.

Vi har haft nöjet av att få bo i Annikas fina hem under fyra veckor i juni månad. Huset är modernt med stora fönster som släpper in den svenska sommarens fina ljus. Det är rent och fint, mycket smakfullt inrett med kvalitet och stil. Samt mycket uppskattat med sängkläder och handdukar från Himla. Fantastiskt fin och insynsskyddad trädgård med både pool och intilliggande bastuhus. Vi har haft en lugn och skön tid i Annikas fina hus på fantastiska Resarö. Tips är att promenera till Paviljongen för att äta lunch eller middag, samt att besöka Vaxholm för restaurang besök, shopping eller för att ta er vidare ut i skärgården. Tar endast ca 30-40 minuter med bil in till Stockholm eller ca en timmes färd med båt från Ytterby brygga. Tack Annika för en utomordentligt bra vistelse i ditt fina hem som vi gärna återkommer till!

Let’s start with the knives, sharp enough to satisfy a Japanese sushi chef. Lena (ex bandy/ice Hockney star) and Cia were wonderful hosts and very accommodating. House matched the quality of knives in every way, clean, exceptionally well furnished with super kitchen equipment. Tea, coffee and other items provided, the homemade cakes were especially nice. Outdoor seating area calm and with a lovely view of horses. Hosts provided sturdy bicycles which allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings. A short walk to the sea and cycle to ferry. The generosity of the hosts made our trip and this stay one of the best Airbnb experiences we have enjoyed to date. We encourage anyone to stay with Lena and Cia for a true Swedish experience.

We spent a month staying in this Airbnb as a group of four. The house was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped. It is located in a peaceful area, yet offers easy access to various shopping options, restaurants, and public transportation. The host, Tommy, was very responsive and helpful both before and throughout our stay. Overall, everything was great, and we would definitely recommend this place!
