Welcome to insta @Frykstaladan. It is located 50 meters from the south end of the fairytale snowy lake of Fryken. This unique home has its very own style that has emerged over the five years that we rebuilt the barn. High ceilings and plenty of space both inside and out. Everything is new and fresh. Perfect place for rest and recreation. It includes bikes, kayaks and DRINKS (2 of each) and the proximity to sports and outdoor activities is good. Värmland attracts with its culture, visit the Lerin Museum, Alma Löv, Storyleader or....

FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Nearby you have paintball, go-kart & ice maps, moose safaris, long distance skates, adventure track ,tennis court, cross-country skiing, canoe or kayak rental. Ställbergs Rökeri where you can buy locally produced rapeseed oil, honey and smoked fish. About 20 min away there is a smaller ski resort, Fjällberget. 1 hrs to Romme! 10 min by car to Djäkens beach with sandy beach.

A uniqe cottage at a small farm 200 m from Hjälmaren. We try to walk as light on earth as possible. The environment is perfect for relaxing nature experiences. On the farm we keep, cows, chickens, geese, ducks a dog and a cat and bees. Possibilty to rent an inflatable kajak with 1-3 seats and/or a SUP. " Et veldig koselig sted. Cozy cottage on a lake plot

Here you live in a cozy log house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvik's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 min away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Upper Hill. Fishing from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (150kr/half day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license 50kr/ day.

If you are looking for a comfortable living in the middle of nature for you and your family, this is a nice choice. The accommodation includes one canoe that can fit 3 adults. Life jackets and paddles also included. Walking distance to the lake and river. Transport of canoe to other lakes can be arranged for a small fee.
