Beachfront holiday rental in Silver Bay

We had a great stay at the Island Lake Getaway. Fishing was great right off the dock. We were able to use kayaks and pedal boats, and they also had lots of sand toys and games for the kids to play outside. There isn’t anything that could have made this a better stay than it was! We were so impressed with the property, and all the family who came to visit was also blown away by how beautiful it was. We usually book a hotel when we stay in Duluth, but this was so much better for our family of 4.

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

We had a very fun time and Keith and Sara were helpful when we had any questions. The area is beautiful and canoeing on the lake is a must!

Kelly was a great host! Super responsive! The space was perfect! Everything was clean, comfortable beds, beautiful views! It was such a nice space for us to hang out with our kiddos after long days of hiking. We would definitely stay again!

This is 3rd or 4th time we have stayed at Bailey's and loved it. The house is beautiful and she provides tons of ammenities. Love sitting on deck looking over the lake and watching the geese with their babies, ducks and babies and plenty of Eagles.

We had a wonderful time at David's Airbnb. David met us outside, and welcomed us. The cottage was really lovely. It was clean, and nicely furnished, with a beautiful view of the lake. The beds were very comfortable. The weather was perfect, so we spent the evening sitting outside enjoying the view. I would love to stay again.

This cabin is SO incredibly beautiful! And Lacey provided such thoughtful and thorough communication and accommodations - she truly thought out anything guests could need/want! We enjoyed a very peaceful, private stay here and loved the close access to the lake. Lacey is a fantastic host - I’m already looking forward to a return visit!

Comfortable & homey cabin with an amazing view. Peaceful & private. Furniture was comfortable & kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom was clean. Shower head was low, but there was great water pressure & plenty of hot water. Close to town if you want to venture out. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

The place was lovely! You can see the lake out of the back door. Couldn’t be closer to the beach. The front bedroom was also lovely. Thanks for hosting us!

Jessica was very helpful with our group and the condo was beautiful. We were so impressed with all the details thought of and how well stocked it was. It was a wonderful and comfortable stay.

The home was a great getaway for our family as we were looking for a place to relax. With a great view of Lake Superior, the place did not disappoint. It was nestled in pine trees and an open high ceiling living area, comfy sofas and a log house theme. We enjoyed the kitchen, the deck and grill. Having a pickle ball court nearby and using the Superior Shore Lodge facilities for a small fee was nice. Steve, as our host, was quick to respond with our questions.

The place was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. Also, it is incredibly close to one of the alpine ski lofts for Giants Ridge (literally right across the street). We will definitely stay again!

We stayed here with our four kiddos for a brief spring break getaway. While the snow wasn’t there this year we had plenty of spaces and places to spread out and explore. We would definitely consider coming back again!

This place was absolutely gorgeous! We were so happy with our stay & would love to stay again. The view alone was worth the price. We would happily just sit on the patio & listen to the Lake Superior waves. Everything was clean & organized. We had plenty of room for everyone.

This is a perfect location and a very nice place. Very good brewery on the first floor. Everything is walkable in canal park. Very kid friendly but I could see how it could be a romantic getaway as well. I would stay here again.

Staying at Jeff and Susan’s was as easy as it gets— smooth check-in, beautiful location with wildlife out the back door (deer routinely passing through the yard), timely responses to questions, and minimal checkout process. Plenty of spices and cookware to feel like a home away from home. Home was very clean and watching the sunset over the lake from the living room never got old. Will certainly be staying here again!

Had a great stay. Really enjoyed kayaking, reading by the water, and grilling. Tammy and John left us with a bottle of wine which was a really sweet gesture. Would not advise booking this place to be near Duluth (about a 40 minute drive) like we did, as we did not get to spend as much time enjoying the cabin as we would have liked. Hoping to vacation here again in the near future in order to fully enjoy all the cabin has to offer!

We had a wonderful stay! David was a great host. We had our dogs Cal and Mable along for the trip. Cal and Mable made a new friend Davids dog Jack. Jack was such a sweetheart. Good times were made playing in the lake and sitting around the campfire. I highly recommend.

This home’s location could not be better—it is nestled in the trees right on the lake and just steps aways from the ski hill allowing you to ski in and ski out! It was down a winding and hilly road that was easy to find with Marks instructions; I was grateful for the all wheel drive on our vehicle to get us there :) The house itself is also very impressive—it was beautiful, well constructed, clean and well stocked. Mark and his brother were super responsive and very friendly. We had a great stay!

Spacious, comfortable for our group of 5 except for the too short twin beds. Kitchen area perfect.

The cabin was beautiful! Clean, well taken care of, and lots of space indoor and outdoor for my family (3 kids, 8 and under), parents, and brother and sister in-law and their two kids (both under 3). I also brought my dogs and they enjoyed roaming the big backyard. The beach was wide, the bonfire with firewood was great for relaxing and hanging out, and the private dock was perfect for fishing and watching the kids on the beach/backyard. The water is shallow by the dock but we still caught some fish every now and then which was a pleasant surprise. We rented the owner's pontoon and we enjoyed using it to explore the lake and fish. Truly, this cabin was the perfect place for a gathering with family. Thank you!

This was our first AirBnb experience and everything went so smoothly! The cabin was inviting, clean and cozy. Nestled in the woods on a beautiful little lake, it was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We were just a short drive into town where we had access to a grocery store, gas station, shops and restaurants. The best part of our stay was our little slice of heaven on the dock. While fishing off the dock, our 5 year old caught a fish on his first cast! We watched the sunset and listened to the loons. We also had Carow Park across the street all to ourselves one evening. We played pickle ball and walked along the little beach; it was great! I would highly recommend this place to others, thank you!

We booked last minute and appreciated William making sure we found the place and got settled. The cabin was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the spot is very peaceful. The treehouse cabins is set back from the main house and views the lake through the trees. Being up one flight of stairs and surrounded by windows gave it the treehouse effect. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend!
