The cottage is a log cabin originating from Dalarna, located in the forest and with several swimming-friendly lakes with sandy beach only 7 and 10 minutes away by car. Child-friendly, quiet and private, trampoline on the grounds and great opportunities for both nature experiences, recreation in solitude if you want or training.

There are many nice things in our area. Not least all the nice Dala villages, fishing in the river, the beautiful mushroom forest, hiking, paddling, biking, etc. Avesta Golf is "our neighbor" and you have the golf course at a convenient distance from the property. In summer, we recommend "Verket" and "Avesta Art" where you can experience the magical mix of history, art and modern technology. Welcome to our nice little cottage in idyllic Sandviken on the outskirts of Sala. Here you live right on the edge of the forest and do not need to walk for more than a few minutes to reach two child-friendly baths with sandy beaches, where the largest has both kiosk, boat rental and jumping towers. Here you can also watch the sun set on the terrace at Salas best restaurant Måns Ols. For those who want to exercise, there are both electric light tracks and mountain biking trails nearby. You can also walk to the nearby silver mine.

Pick mushrooms around the corner, bask on the jetty, walk on the ice, pimp a perch, hike the utility trail or enjoy doing absolutely nothing. If you get tired of the peace and quiet, you can go to Västerås' largest shopping center in 40 minutes.

Stugan passar sig bäst för två personer men man kan bo 4 personer då de finns bäddsoffa. Man tar sig till Sala,Uppsala, Enköping,Västerås på mindre än 1 timme.

The cottage (‘härbre’ in Swedish) is one of several small outbuildings in a picturesque setting. The building is from the 19th century. The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.

Works as a self-catering for a long time but even if you just want to stay the night. Leas basement is tastefully decorated with high ceilings, fireplace, kitchen part, toilet and shower. There is a queen size bed (160cm) and a daybed for two. There's also Wifi and monitor with Chromecast.
