Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sintra

Parfait pour un voyage en famille avec 3 chambres et une très belle surprise avec une mezzanine très lumineuse afin de profiter de bon moment, cela permet aussi d’avoir un coin TV pour ceux qui le souhaite. Petit piscine agréable mais non chauffé à prendre en considération. 2 salles d’eau très agréable en famille et un chambre un peu séparée pour les enfants. Très bon accueil et conseil de la propriétaire. Proche de Sintra et de l’océan avec une vraie tranquillité. Je recommande

This is an extremely nicely and cleverly renovated accommodation. Nice and spacious and at a great location in Sintra. We deliberately chose a bigger place with two separate bathrooms as my wife and I were staying there with her father and his partner (both well into their seventies). Many many moons ago we had an Airbnb in the historical center of Sintra but this was way better and far more relaxing. Great to be able to park the car on the driveway! Yes indeed along a road but with the windows closed it was perfect; there was no hindrance. We slept with the window open and that was just fine. With a high hedge quite private and nice to sit outside also. Communication with the host was outstanding and all instructions very clear. We absolutely loved the place and can't find anything at fault really. We'd love to return. Access to Sintra or Lisbon or the coast is easy. Don't forget to grab a coffee at Pastelaria Gregório just up the street and to visit AdegaMãe winery. :-)

It was a pleasure staying at Ricardo’s place. The place is on the first floor of the house and has big lawns, fruit orchards and ample parking space. The view of low hills and sunrise from the balcony was beautiful. My daughter enjoyed the hammock in the balcony. Overall it was a very nice, peaceful and soul soothing stay in natural surroundings.

Probably one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Patricia was extremely helpful for whatever is needed and very flexible with check in times. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic experience

A great house with all that you need and very quiet location. Colares is an ideal location and easy for beaches/Sintra/Cascais and only 45 mins from Lisbon. Lee and Sabina very helpful/responsive.

Super fijne locatie en hele lieve gastvrouw! Appartement was netjes en schoon en zag er nog beter uit dan op de foto's. Bij aankomst was er brood en vers beleg en eieren klaar gelegd. Gabriela bood aan om later uitchecken aangezien we de avond ervoor nog tot laat een bruiloft hadden, super lief!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The house is stunningly designed. We especially loved the huge windows with stunning views of the garden. The towels and bed sheets were of amazing quality, the kitchen was fully equipped, the TV projector was amazing and the fact that the garden is so huge you that can go for a walk in it is mindblowing! And even though the weather wasn't sunny, the low clouds added a cozy atmosphere that made our stay feel even more special. Dinis was always responsive and available to answer any questions. The only thing was that while the listing mentioned parking on premises, it wasn’t available for us during our stay. This led us to park on the narrow, bumpy street outside. However, this was a minor inconvenience, and it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time here. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this place!

Sofia was a very proactive and friendly host. All key information were promptly provided days prior to check-in. Easy self-access with the instructions provided. Rooms were ready and property was clean by the time we arrived. It is a 10-20 minutes commute to certain shops at late hours, however, the privacy is worth its keep. There is supermarket super close by, for us was unfortunate due to the time we would arrive everyday at the property meant they were always closed, but those seeking a holiday, that would be no issue. Lovely spacious living room with doors that you see straight out to the swimming pool. As we were there mainly for business purposes, we did not manage to have usage of certain available amenities - but worth to those coming in for a holiday. Sofia was also always efficient in responding, regardless of time (unethical on my part to message pas midnight) nonetheless, she would respond right away. Beautiful home and an amazing host.

Lage: Hervorragend gelegen für wunderschöne Spaziergänge entlang der Küste. Ansonsten gelangt man auch mit dem Auto recht schnell nach Ericeira im Norden und Cascais im Süden. Der Sintra-Nationalpark lädt ebenfalls zu herrlichen Wanderungen ein. Wohnung: Top Wohnung, die hervorragend ausgestattet ist, allerdings etwas kleiner als auf den Bildern (für 4 Erwachsene wahrscheinlich zu klein, fur eine Familie mit 2 kleineren Kindern top). Sara: Einfach top!!! Super einfache Kommunikation und stets hilfsbereit. Remote Work: Wir haben von dort remote gearbeitet. Sara hat uns auf Nachfrage einen kleinen Schreibtisch zur Verfügung gestellt, sodass wir in separaten Zimmern arbeiten und Meetings halten konnten. Gute und stabile Internetverbindung. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die von dort remote arbeiten möchten. Fazit: Top, aber zugegebenermaßen nicht die günstigste Unterkunft in der Region.

This was a delightful place to stay in Sintra, full of character and cozy ambience. It lies in a great location for visiting Sintra's many historic sights, or just relaxing on the private back patio. Very comfortable bed with plenty of blankets and portable space heaters provided, if needed. Fully stocked kitchen if you choose to cook. Be aware there is no overhead shower with shower curtain, so you adapt just fine by getting in the gorgeous, deep tub and using the spray wand. Nice soaps and lotions provided. The tub "saved" me by soaking sore muscles after a full day of walking on ancient stones all day! Willem is a most gracious host and very accommodating to flexible checkout time. He and Riaan are great communicators through every step of the reservation process and for making helpful recommendations for ATMs, restaurants, etc. I hope to stay there again!

We loved our stay in Susete’s place! The apartment was beautifully renovated and decorated. The shower was as amazing as it looks in the picture and the bed was very comfortable! I definitely recommend visiting Sintra and staying at Susete’s place!

Silvina is a very friendly, happy person and goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable. Speaks some French which is a bonus if your Portuguese is non-existent. Parking was easy on the street outside the apartment and seemed safe too. Good base to explore Sintra, Mafre and Lisbon. Terrugem is not much of a town but it does have a Lidl and an Aldi for shopping. We enjoyed our stay.

It was my first time visiting Portugal, and this place was the best place to stay in. I visited my friends, and I can’t even compare their places to mine. It was very nice and clean, very helpful and respectful, responsible and proactive. Beautiful place with nice views and pool, also food was good, and I felt like home. Thanks a lot everyone, especially Armie, who was taking care about all needs.

Was für ein wundervoller Ort! Ich war mit meiner Freundin und meiner Schwester dort. Wir sind spät abends von einer Hochzeit gekommen und Ronny hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen. Beim Frühstück am nächsten Tag haben wir Johanna kennengelernt und konnten uns die Unterkunft bei Tageslicht anschauen. Alles ist mit so viel Liebe gestaltet und wir haben gemerkt, dass sie sich hier einen Traum erfüllen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ein besonderes Highlight war Spiky, ein Labrador. Wir haben unseren eigenen Hund sehr vermisst und mit Spiky spazieren zu gehen hat uns sehr glücklich gemacht. Wir waren leider viel zu kurz da, doch wir nehmen die schöne Erinnerung mit und kommen gerne wieder!

Luis & Beatriz are amazing hosts. The home was beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. The grounds were AMAZING and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time there and will look forward to returning in the future. We highly recommend this property for those visiting the Terrugem/Sintra area. The Oak Cafe was wonderful for brunch and you must have dinner at least 1 night at Azenhas do Mar, for the food and views as well as Mercado Saloio located in Sintra for the nightly music and delicious food and good service. The spa in Cascais is amazing as well. All recommendations of Luis & Beatriz Other places we found were the Marina and shops in Cascais as well as a wonderful little eatery for brunch/ lunch called Mugs Brunch and Cafe in Pedregal. Amazing views and delicious food. Thanks Luis & Beatriz for making our first trip to Portugal amazing. Looking forward to returning.

We loved this home- very convenient to Sintra and the beaches, wonderful cafe nearby, and charming comfortable home. Enjoyed the outdoor space for relaxing or dining. We would definitely stay again. Rosa was very kind and accommodating when our plans changed and we were able to book an additional night.

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! This is the first Air BnB I have stayed in where the rooms are even nicer than the pics! We stayed here with our adult children for 8 days and absolutely loved it! The property is nicer than some 5 star resorts we have stayed in. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet! Rui and Teresa greeted us upon arrival and were responsive anytime we had questions. There were restaurants within walking distance but also Ubers and Bolts were plentiful and inexpensive. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Rui and Teresa!

A house packed with character, personality and authenticity. The outside deck is unbeatable, best seats in the house for watching the beautiful sunsets with a glass of something chilled in the hot tub! Kitchen fully equipped for cooking in, or restaurants and kiosk bar in walking distance if going out. The coastal path runs by the door, so amazing hikes along the cliffs as you step out. We’ll be back!

This place was a great home base for us to explore the coast. It was a beautiful and comfortable space to come home to and offered good access to stunning coastal walks. Jose was very accommodating and offered us early check-in to suit our travel schedule which was very helpful.

A wonderful place. A peaceful setting, ideally located for restaurants, supermarket and beach. The pool is bigger then it looks on pictures. our children enjoyed the Airbnb. lots of space, secure grounds and a trampoline to keep them entertained. We enjoyed BBQs on the patio. The villa is cleverly designed so that nobody feels on top of each other. would definitely revisit

We were a family of five and had a really enjoyable stay in Ben and Laura’s house. The views and rustic charm were beautiful and the kids had hours of fun in the pool - if we are back in Sintra we would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it for groups, couples and families - it is a great base for exploring all that Sintra, Caiscais and Lisbon have to offer and beaches are only 12 minutes away!
