Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Sintra

We had not been to Estoril previously and did really enjoy the more local vibe in this area. Also a great beach for surf and a good walk to Carcavelos. The apartment was so nice and very clean, we were 3 friends staying and it felt right at home. We all slept very well and although both beach and train are near (good communications) it was super quiet at night and a calm cozy neighbourhood. Moritz and Francesca were more than helpful and responsive and also had good local recommendations. All of us could imagine staying here again - highly recommend! ✨

We had a wonderful weekend at Alexandra's apartment. The apartment itself felt very secure (located inside a gated complex), and had all the amenities you could need. The location was nice and quiet but still walkable to lots of supermarkets and cafes. Alexandra was an incredibly attentive host - lots of local recommendations and very responsive to messages. Thank you Alexandra!

We had a great time staying at Julie's apartment. It was a perfect size for our group of four adults and two kids. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the terrace in the evenings and being able to go to the Jardim do Estrela right next door!

What a great little basement studio tons of character, high ceilings, well appointed. amazing art on tiles (painted by Luis himself) to enjoy on all of the walls. The bed is firm but comfortable. This was really a treat to stay here. Would highly recommend anyone could stay here and feel the comfort of home

Great location and very well organized property for a comfortable stay. Lovely place with all the amenities needed. Walking distance to spectacular ocean views, restaurants and shopping at Casa de Gaia and Restaurant Lovit. VIP supermarket right around the corner. Great bakery with coffee and fresh Pastais de nata, just around the corner as well. $5 Uber to the heart of Cascais. So convenient!

The apartment is beautiful and spacious and looks exactly as the photos show. We were a family of 6 (4 kids and 2 parents) and there was ample space; with one bedroom to spare! Great to have two bathrooms and the utility room for me was so handy We worked out how to walk to the local beach and Carcavelos beach as well as get the train to Cascais. However Ubers are just as easy and inexpensive. All very easy and helped by Jonas's tip sheets Would definitely recommend and will be back again soon Thank you

Daniel is an incredible host! We arrived very late in the evening and he was so kind to meet us at that hour to show us all the amazing features of the home. His home is gorgeous! We made great use of the gym, sauna, hot tub and cold plunge, which is as an extra special highlight! City center and restaurants are a short drive away. Daniel’s restaurant recommendations were very helpful. Would absolutely stay again if we are ever in Portugal again. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful.

The apartment is perfect for a visit to Lisbon in the summer. Having access to the pool after the long hilly walks makes it a great place to stay. The apartment was well located to walk for food/drink etc . It is up a hill but so is most of Lisbon. Apartment had everything we needed and Natacha was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

We had an incredible stay, thank you Catarina! The place is very quiet - we stayed during Lisbon's saint's festival which was very busy right outside but somehow still quiet in the apartment. The electric blinds are great for locking out noise and light + the apartment is hidden on a hill away from the street. The outdoor space & pool was ideal for us too. The location is great and the indoors was very nice, spacious and clean. We would love to stay again. Catarina's communication was excellent and we were allowed to check out a little late to accommodate our flights. She also provided a cot and high chair for our baby. Highly recommend!

Cristina and Francisco are super hosts and the apartment is first class, especially for medium sized families like us (I came with my 4 kids). It has everything that you need and it is truly home from home. It is very spacious and the beds and pillows are super comfortable. The 2 swimming pools downstairs are lovely. There is a person there all day by the pool selling water and ice cream (takes cash). Me and my 4 kids made use of the basketball court and had a lot of fun there. The hosts are very responsive and so helpful with all our needs. Nothing was too much trouble for them and for this, they deserve the highest praise. The apartment was perfectly situated for exploring (Sintra, Cascais and Lisboa), beach hopping and great restaurants. All in all, this was the perfect summer holiday and we will book again for sure. This was our last stop in our 2 week journey through Portugal. It was a quick 10 min ride to the airport in the morning to catch our early flight. The unit was luxurious and the value is great. It would be an arm and a leg in the US. Train is a quick ride into old Lisbon. Host provided clear instructions. The parking garage was a big plus for our rental. Took a nice stroll to the soccer stadium and kids enjoyed the park in the building grounds.

Lovely stay, even lovelier host. Super friendly and responsive, and even sent a list of local recommendations for everything one could possibly need during a holiday. Would love to come back as it was such a special home and held spectacular views. Gorgeous vibes 🫶🏻🙏🏻

This was our second visit and Alice was as friendly, welcoming and hospitable as ever. The house is spotless, well equipped and comfortable with superb facilities across the site. The pool was fantastic, the locality quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be returning again.

Stayed here for a work trip and it was spot on. We were looking for a place with separate bathrooms and this one nailed it - super convenient. The space was clean, comfy, and made the whole trip way easier. Would definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house in Cascais! The location was perfect—just a 15-minute walk from the beach and the town center, which has plenty of restaurants and shops. The house was very cozy and well-equipped, with a spacious living room and a modern kitchen that made us feel right at home. We especially loved the garden, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine outdoors. The beds were comfortable and the house was well-maintained overall. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, always ready to help with any questions and provide great tips about local attractions. We would love to return here and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Cascais.

We had a great stay with Gem & Gary. They are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. It’s also just a few minutes walk from some amazing beaches.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison, dans une ville sympathique et un environnement calme. Mr Neves est très accueillant et professionnel. La maison nous a beaucoup charmé. Nous avions à notre disposition (dans la maison) tout le nécessaire pour pouvoir démarrer notre séjour et nous installer immédiatement. La salle de sport et ses équipements : une très bonne idée.
