Holiday rentals with a patio in Six Mile Lake

This was my wife and I’s second time visiting Midland to attend the annual butter tart festival. Our previous rental unit last year was great as were the furnishing so the bar was high for this year’s Airbnb rental. In fact, the “Home in Midland” rental unit and the hosts exceeded our expectations. The rental unit's location was only minutes from the festival and most amenities such restaurants, waterfront and stores. We never moved the car during our stay since everything was within a short walk. About the hosts welcoming attitude and hospitality: Upon arrival, we requested an early entry which was granted without hesitation. We were also fortunate enough to meet one of the hosts (Shelby) she was extremely pleasant and assisted us in making sure we were in the right parking spot, which was well indicated. We walked up 2 flights of stairs to get to our unit and were pleasantly surprised at the space of the rental . The pictures online were absolutely on point and matched expectations.

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in After almost three years of Airbnbs around the world, this one in Canada tops them all. We stayed in both the Lookout (the little house) and the Pine Lodge (above the store)—and didn’t want to leave. The Lookout felt like a cozy sanctuary: garden, sauna, spotless, fully equipped. The Pine Lodge had a steam room (huge bonus!), comfy couches, a big dining table, and a fire always going. But what made it truly special were Krystal and Madison—the kindest, most caring hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like arriving at friends’, not strangers’. During a freak ice storm, they moved us to a backup-powered house and even brought us food. Just wow. Local tips: • Cawaja Store: best coffee, insane ice cream, and local broths, pies, soups. • Mums Restaurant: old-school diner, fresh, cooked-to-order food. • The Friendly Corner: lovely for sunny outdoor meals.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chantal and Sylvain’s place! From the moment we walked in, we were very impressed by this clean, cozy, and beautifully-furnished home-away-from-home. Our hosts thought of everything, and were friendly, responsive and helpful. Their place is complete with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, in addition to some additional thoughtful, special touches. We had fun playing some of the many available board games, and found it so peaceful to sit in their quiet backyard, surrounded by trees. We LOVED lounging in the beautiful hot tub. Next time we’re in Coldwater, we would definitely stay at Chantal and Sylvain’s place again! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The place was spotless, the check-in process was super easy, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the harbour. The host was very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic weekend staying at Gerard’s place! It was just as described from the pics and Gerard provided very clear instructions which made checking in seamless. The place was very clean, spacious, and right on the water! There was also a ton of things to do including kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, board games, a gym with weights as well as a fully stocked kitchen. We had a great time and would definitely come back again in the future!

Natalie’s place is excellent! The studio was super clean and very nice. We felt right at home!! It had everything we needed and was close to all the local attractions. Natalie provided a guide ahead of our trip with information about the AirBnb, as well as local recommendations for food and things to do. She was extremely kind and responsive. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Natalie!!

Decided day of to stay a night in blue mountain after camping. Wasn’t sure if we would be able to get a place to stay on a few hour notice. Dom & Christen replied and accepted with in minutes and let us check in a bit early. Very friendly hosts and a nice place.

Great place for a group of friends & family. Each of us had our own space to do things we liked - kids with the board games, gals with the books n jacuzzi and the guys had all the place to laze around and do nothing :) Definitely recommend to others and would be there next time to have the feel of the surroundings in winter

We had a lovely stay. The place was even nicer than we expected. This is the best air bnb we’ve ever had. It was really private and really clean, which was exactly what we were looking for. They provided so many little things which just added to the overall experience. Its the small things that go a long way. The place was really open concept and just really well furnished. Amanda's cottage was great for a relaxing getaway. The highlights of my stay were: - a beautiful lake view from the dining area, living room and upper deck with full sun until late evening - receiving great suggestions for local food and day trips - great response from Amanda and team - a day trip to Creemore - just a half hour's drive away - a beautiful kitchen for cooking - the decor and design books throughout the cottage - the extras provided

We went to this cottage for a beautiful romantic weekend getaway and we were happy we got that. The owner of the cottage Necker was very kind and helpful, absolutely loved the place and there was plenty of water activities to do. It was easy to check in, communicate and plenty of peaceful vibes. Recommended 100%, please go visit this cottage it is very well worth it. P.S: we loved the character of the cottage with little artpieces and wall art from all over the globe 🌎.

We stayed at this beautiful cottage for 3 nights with a group of 10 ladies, and it truly was a fantastic experience. Cottage was exactly as mentioned on the site, very comfortable and spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. From the cozy common areas to the well equipped kitchen and serene surroundings, everything contributed to a memorable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend this lovely place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home!

We absolutely loved our stay at Maya & Greg’s cottage. We spent the May long weekend here and loved the peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings. The cottage was exactly as pictured, there was lots to do, and the hosts were very friendly. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this cottage. We were looking for a quiet getaway as a couple to rest and recharge and definitely got that here! The place is stunning - amazing vistas throughout. The hosts put a lot of love into this place and it’s clear. No detail is left out. Everything you need is there and it’s really easy to settle in with the place being absolutely spotless. We’d definitely book again and would recommend to anyone looking for a Muskoka getaway. In fact, we just got home and we’re already looking to see when it might be available again. Our one night stay at Sabine’s was tremendous. The home is well appointed with plenty of space and easy walking distance to the village. Located in a second floor end unit, it’s a place you immediately feel comfortable in. There is a view of the slopes from the main room picture windows and a small deck area with muskoka chairs. There’s a sizeable fridge to store your beverages to drink while soaking up the views. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, and good sized master in the loft with king bed and en suite. Sabine was very communicative and left detailed instructions. Remote check in was a breeze. There is parking available. I would definitely recommend, and would definitely come back.

Loved our stay here!! Can't say enough positive things about our vacation here. Kitchen was fully stocked, clean bathroom and rooms, easy check in and check out and excellent cooling system as it was a hot few days. Amenities were great and welcoming for families, environment was peaceful and we also loved how the balcony backed onto trees and nature. Would 100% stay here again in the future. Thank you!

A wonderful spot with every convenient considered! The espresso machine might have been the highlight of my trip. The beach is very nice and close. The king bed is a very firm spring mattress, so something to consider if that is important to you.

Lovely modern place in a beautiful setting. Communication was great and the condo was very clean with everything you’d need. We wished we had more time to stay and explore.
