Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Cozy cottage in the heart of Tiveden

Källefall is a small farm located a few kilometers west of Tiveden National Park. A few kilometers away is Unden, which is a large and deep spring water lake. The soldier's cottage you rent is a charming place with a wood-burning stove, glass porch and newly-renovated kitchen. The ground floor consists of a kitchen, living room, toilet and a bedroom. In the loft there are two bedrooms. On the farm live two horses, and sometimes a cat and dog and myself, who then live in an annex on the farm. Booked for at least two days. Discount for 7 days or more.

The cottage is located close to the main house (see picture) but the plot is large. 140 cm bed, camping bed available on request. Good for families with 1 child, we have a trampoline and berry bushes. Approx. 5 km to Ösjönäs National Park, 25 km to the National Park's main entrance Between Tived/Sannerud, Tivedens Lanthandel (10 km) and Ica in Undenäs (10 km).

Welcome to our beautiful house on the headland, with Lake Vättern as your closest neighbor. This detached house with a large garden offers about 90 sqm of living space on two floors, with open plan kitchen and living room, bathroom, and two comfortable bedrooms, with room for 4-5 people. The attached guest house offers a bedroom with bunk bed and space for 2-3 people. The guest house has its own shower and toilet. The house is modernly decorated with furniture and amenities of the highest quality. June - August is weekly rental.

Small and cozy cottage in Tiveden

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. A personal little cottage with four beds that I alternately live in and thus I share my home with you dear guest. Close to Unden's clear water with the possibility of swimming. The national park is just over 10 km away with fantastic hiking, perhaps a trip to Sannerud, the old Tiveden general store now called Curry 23, which serves a sausage menu, drinks, beer & wine. About 2.5 km away, open Tuesday to Saturday 11:30 AM - 7:00 PM Many opportunities for experiences in Tiveden.

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all the amenities of our time but with saved details from the past. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's attractions are within walking distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are allergic to fur.

Here you can enjoy peace, space and forest right behind the house, with a hiking trail for beautiful trips or to walk your dog. There is plenty to explore in the region: Tiveden National Park, Götakanal, Lake Vänern and Lake Vättern, Örebro, golf courses, restaurants. For groceries, you can be in Hova or Töreboda in no time. Chilla is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Amazing view to lake Unden, the largest fresh water lake in Tived. Fantastic to swim in when it's warm in the summer. Amazing sunsets and a very peaceful atmosphere. Romantic. The area straight down from the cabin by the water doesn't belong to the property but welcomes respectful visitors.
