The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

Bed linen and towels can be rented for DKK 75 per person per stay or you can bring your own. Perfect for a relaxing holiday by the sea with plenty of activities.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex.
