WELCOME to our newly renovated and modern guest house of 110 sqm, with colors on the walls, painted with environmentally and allergy-friendly paint. The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

You'll have your own entrance to the apartment. From the bedroom, there is an entrance to the TV room/kitchenette with the option of sleeping 1-2 people on the sofa bed. From the TV room, there is access to a private bathroom/toilet. There will be the option to store things in the refrigerator with a small freezer. There is an electric kettle so you can make coffee and tea. In the kitchenette, there is 1 portable hot plate and 2 small pots, as well as 1 oven. No frying is allowed in the room. Cold beer / soda can be purchased for €1. Wine €5. Payable in cash or via MobilePay.

Here you'll find peace and quiet and the opportunity for walks or bike rides in the woods and to the lakes. Nørre Snede is a 25-40 minute drive from Legoland, Silkeborg, Horsens and Herning. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and peaceful side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s and was originally an old stable, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg, and Skanderborg. The sky is high here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cat, chickens, and roosters are also very curious. We look forward to welcoming you 🤗
