Perfect stay for exploring south Iceland and enjoy nature and the northern lights in winter. Beautiful cabin by the river Hvítá in a prime location in the Golden Circle. Near Gullfoss and Geysir and only 100 km to the capital city Reykjavík. The cabin can accommodate 2-4 persons. One bedroom with beds for two people. In the living room there is a pull-out sofa for two persons. The kitchen is fully stocked. The bathroom has a shower and the laundry room has a washing machine and a dryer.

Our newly renovated cottage is in the centre of the golden circle overlooking the Tungufljót river. There are spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers from the house. The house is a perfect base from which to explore the fantastic sights the golden circle and the surrounding area has to offer. All the main attractions such as Geysir (less than 10 mins drive), Gullfoss (under 20 min) and Thingvellir (about 40 min) are easy to get to from the cottage.

Unique location. You can see stars and northern lights when you're there. Many golf courses nearby. Geysir is 10 minutes away and Gullfoss approx. 15 minutes. The waterfall Faxi is in the land of the earth. Swimming pools at both Flúðir and Reykholt which are approx. 10 min drive. Fontana on Laugarvatn and the Natural Pool on Rafas. Grocery stores 10 km away in both Reykhotel and Rafas, there is also a wine shop on Rafas. From Selfossi 45 km.
