The proximity to the Skjærhalden town square means that you can stroll down to the hustle and bustle now that the seaside season is starting again for Easter. The annex is located on a residential plot, with its own patio and barbecue/outdoor furniture. Suitable for quiet people; no smoking or parties.

Relax with family or friends at this great cabin on Søndre Sandøy. Sunny cabin + annex. Amazing view! The wonderful island of Søndre Sandøy is a 15-minute ferry ride from Skjærhalden. The cottage is beautifully located on the hill of Røveråsen, about a 20-minute walk away, which provides absolutely stunning views over the fjord and the strait towards Skjærhalden, Kirkøy and Nordre Sandøy, AND first-class sun conditions from morning to evening. In the cabin there are 2 bedrooms with 4 beds, and in the annex there are 4-6 beds.

Generally good hiking opportunities. Whether you want to enjoy the quiet days or want to explore Hvaler, this is a nice base. Shops about 5 km away. We have 7 happy hens that partly roam freely.

An excellent starting point for hiking along the Kuststigen and enjoying the sea or a round on Strömstad golf club's nice park course. End the day with a swim in the hot tub jacuzzi under the stars or take the bus in to Strömstad for a good dinner and crowds. Days with bad weather are best spent in front of the fireplace.
