A garden apartment in the house that I live in, of 50-60 sqm The house is located in a construction field about 9 km from the center of Voss It is good access by bus. Walking - and cycling from the city centre, and on to Skjervsfossen and Granvin. The apartment has its own entrance, kitchen with all necessary equipment. Bathroom, w/shower, toilet, washing machine and heating cables in the floor. Bedroom for 2, I can set up baby bed if desired. Sofa bed in the living room. Bed linen and towels are included. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. A uniqe, modern house with the most amazing nature just outside the door-step. The house has a view to the forest and river, and has big windows to let in lots of light and most importantly - the nature. The outside area consists of an incredibly beautiful riverside front, with a wooden deck with a log table and benches, fire place by the river and pitoresque seats overlooking the river and forest. The closest town with shops and restaurants are about 10 kms away.

A really lovely place with spectacular views that you can enjoy through big windows in all weathers. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The house is well equipped with most things you would need on holiday. There is beautiful countryside all around and nice walks are possible from the house. There is also a bus service to Voss from the main road close to the house and it’s possible to walk to the Skjervsfossen waterfall. We were very happy with our stay!

One of the best and most beautiful house in the area …. I highly recommend it …. It is very, very beautiful and supernatural…. The house is located on the high of the Foss area and the atmosphere is imaginary and near it is a small waterfall…. Quietness and peace of mind …. I highly recommend it for sure there is no better than this beautiful and quiet house and its ease of communication with the host …. The house is new …. Very happy in the stay

We found the apartment very cosy and homely. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with every kind of gadget. A short walk up the hill behind the apartment block and you have stunning views of the valley below. A great place to stay for 3 or 4 people.
