Our no-frills shepherd’s hut sits by the Drava River and a big wild meadow, just 4 km from Ptuj, Slovenia’s oldest town. Nature lovers (and friendly dogs) welcome! A nearby road offers easy access. Enjoy a BBQ lunch by the river, then relax as the sun sets, frogs sing, and stars light up the night sky. For the full countryside experience, earplugs are optional! Our cozy studio apartment features a bright living area with a comfortable sofa, working space, high-speed Wi-Fi, queen-sized bed, and wardrobe. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, and refrigerator. Enjoy the beautiful modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, glass door, sink, and toilet, with towels and toiletries provided. Located on the Drava River in central Maribor, you’re a short walk from attractions, shops, and restaurants. Private parking is available in front of the house.

Come to the hill of love and stay in a lovely home

About almost 8 years ago we found a wonderfull place in the hills around Maribor. Sharing this special place with good people made us so happy, that we decided to built facilities to stay. So we started to renovate our little garbage hut and tool shed, building a little bath house and a bigger tent for families. By renting the small cottages, we can combine the joy of sharing this place with living a little bit of it.

The apartment is located near the wine roads as well as close to the city center, where you can walk through the old part of the city and also see the oldest vine in the world, along with other attractions. Nearby is Pohorje where you can access by car or gondola and enjoy the beautiful view of the city of Maribor. If you're transporting a few colometers, you can check out Prekmurje and enjoy the Prekmurje cuisine.
