Holiday rentals with a patio in Smith Mountain Lake

We had a wonderful stay while in for a wedding. The cottage is so cute and homey. It has everything you need for a great stay plus some thoughtful extras. I must also say the beds are so comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end our days. Highly recommend staying here.

great place, would stay again. tons of roomand everything was of high quality. parking was a little on the pricier side, but totally worth it to be staying in such a great neighborhoods. great proximity to a large number of bars and restaurants.

awesome area. was skeptical at first because as some people know downtown next to wasena is a bit sketchy, but overall was amazing and comfort level was awesome! pets are allowed which again, is another plus. thanks neil!

The description said recently remodeled and it was accurate. Very upscale renovations, the bathroom even had the seat warmer and bidet, the shower was sensational, plenty of towels. The kitchen was all brand new appliances and tasteful living space with large screen tv there and one in the bedroom. The bedroom is light filled with 3 windows. Very comfy mattress and pillows. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of free curbside parking right out front. Easy to walk to downtown Roanoke for restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend breakfast at Our Daily Bread-just two short blocks away.

My sister and neice and I stayed at Key To Stay's condo for 2 nights in February. I had previously stayed at that same condo in November. I originally gave this condo a great review, which is why we rented it again. This visit had a few maintenance issues, but they were eventually resolved and Key To Stay made sure to reach out to me personally to make sure we were satisfied. I do appreciate their commitment to making sure they improve the guest experience. I will definitely be staying here again after the wonderful customer service. The location is beautiful, the lake view can't be beat. The area has some great places to eat also.

This little apartment is actually a lot nicer than the photos suggest. Situated in a quiet neighborhood in the countryside, clean, cozy, and comfortable. Brianna is a great host, very responsive and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great weekend at the house! The host was very friendly and very quick to respond, and provided helpful instructions. The house was beautiful, new, clean, well stocked. There were plenty of community amenities, although we were bummed all tennis courts were closed due to repaving. With so many courts available it would have been nice to work on half while other half was open to use, then switch. But that was totally out of the owner's control so I didn't count that against it. Overall a great house, although we missed the proximity and direct access to the lake we had during our previous states at SML. But overall, if that's not something very important to you, you cannot go wrong with this host and house.

My son and I were in town to see a show at the Berglund Center. Brandon’s place was so close to the venue and was the perfect location to stay. It was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful, pleasant visit to Roanoke.

What a great place to stay! Although the space is large (it's a former carriage house, after all), it still felt cozy and comfortable. The hosts have included meaningful touches to make the stay extra special (wine, snacks, high end cooking staples) and everything is organized and easy to find. Worth every penny. If you stay here: *make sure to visit the bakery - superb! *the inside stairs to the bedrooms are fairly steep; we used the outside ones in the back since our pup is old and gets nervous about stairs anyway - worked out great!

We stayed at Stephanie’s place while planning to hike in the Blue Ridge mountains . It’s about 45 mins to get to main hiking areas (we hiked Mcafee Knob and Dragon’s tooth for reference ) . Location is east of Roanoke and not far from other marina type restaurants (20 mins ) . The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The lake was about a 3 mins walk down and was very peaceful and convenient to property . The location is quiet , and surrounding areas have a more rural feel . This worked well for our purpose and we really felt it was a peaceful getaway to disconnect . Downtown Roanoke is small but also some restaurants . Stephanie was very pleasant and responsive . I’d come back to stay again or recommend to a friend .

Great host. Very responsive. The place was extremely well maintained and very clean. Everything worked exactly as it should from the keyless entry to Internet access. The property is located .5 miles down a gravel road, which is rustic and dusty. The area is rustic as well. The price was a little high for a manufactured home but it was a holiday weekend.

Our hosts were extremely responsive to our needs and Gateway Cottage was very comfortable. The cottage was very well stocked. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Thank you Barbara and Phil.

We really enjoyed our stay, weather was not so great but we had 1 great day on the lake. Beautiful hardwood floors and spacious bedrooms! Great covered slip for our boat and great views from Condo. I would highly recommend 5⭐️

A very peaceful spot. The place was excellent. Very spacious and clean. Lots of fluffy towels and linens. Comfy beds. We arrived late and got confused with the two different locks in the dark, but management was very helpful and fast to respond, and we got in just fine. We looked in at the pool and gym one rainy day, but did not try them out. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it. Would stay again.

We loved Armand and Amanda’s place! They were very friendly and responsive hosts and incredibly flexible with check in and check out. They had great amenities and the view from the back deck was just stunning! I hope to stay here again. Thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful condo.

We had such a wonderful time at Barbara’s condo. It was beautiful, comfortable and super clean. Barbara was very responsive and friendly. We wish we had more time to spend there and definitely can’t wait to come back!

This was a great place to stay for our first time visiting SML! Beautiful views and very comfortable. Only 10 min drive to the grocery store, which is good for this area.

The condo apartment was beautiful. It's right next to the water. We loved the sunroom and hung out there a lot to play games. The host was very responsive and nice!

The condo was perfect for what we were looking for. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the deck overlooking the lake. The pool was great and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

The place was very clean and conveniently located to the Marina we rented a boat from. It had everything you could need during your stay and the view was great! We would stay here again.
