Historic Val Verde Hotel 1 bedroom Governors Suite

Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. This is not your sanitized chain hotel. It’s old with creaking and uneven floors. The walls aren’t all straight and the wood frames are over 100 years old. This place isn’t for everyone so join us if you are into cool history and squeaky but original doors. Clean and cozy but after 100 years you’ll see several coats of paint, cracked bricks and some parts of the property in full remodel state. We want to share our journey.

Little House on the Bosque

Located on 20 acres in rural New Mexico, only 15 minutes from Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. Resting on the banks of the Rio Grande River, the property abounds with its own wildlife---owls, turkeys, hawks, and deer as well as beautiful native plants. With no neighbors nearby, you can enjoy the beautiful night sky. We're not real fancy, but we're clean, comfortable and quiet! PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE YOU RESERVE OUR HOUSE THAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE WiFi OR CABLE /LOCAL TELEVISION.

Cozy cabin with Highlands

Relax, unwind, and unplug with a beautiful view of the Manzano Mountains in our cozy cabin. Mountainair was known as the “Pinto Bean Capital of the World” in its heyday and our land was used for dry-land bean farming. Remnants of homesteaders can still be found on the property. We now enjoy this beautiful location to raise Scottish Highland Cattle and can’t wait to share it with you! Our cabin will fit 2 adults plus a child comfortably with a queen bed and twin sofa bed.
