Swedish lake house between Vimmerby and Västervik

Just over 15 minutes outside Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 30 minutes from the coastal town of Västervik, you will find this place with its own garden and beach (shared with the host). The view of the lake creates conditions for wonderful nature experiences - all year round! In winter, lovely fires warm you and in summer, the lake cools you! With a canoe (rented by the host), you can experience Kalmar County's largest lake with only the sound of the paddles heard and have the opportunity to see protected animals, ranging from sea eagles to otters.

Stay in a rural setting in a large house with park-like garden. Suitable for one or more families to live together (in the same company). 10 beds are included in the basic price - if more are desired: ask in booking. Large kitchen with all equipment you could wish for. You have four bedrooms where you can choose how to distribute your number of beds (two downstairs in the file and two separate upstairs). You will have the entire house by yourselves. Located in the environment where some of Astrid Lindgren's films were recorded. Welcome with the request!

A small and nice accommodation in a quiet area. It's a small, cozy apartment on the second floor, and we live in the lower part ourselves. The base price is for 1–3 guests/night. Then there are 2 bedrooms, as shown in the photos. It is possible to book for up to a maximum of 5 people/night for an additional fee. The 3rd extra bedroom with 2 beds is available when booking for 4 or 5 people. Please ALWAYS enter the number of people who will be staying overnight. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation, with 10 minutes drive from Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is located in a nice surroundings on a farm with proximity to the forest and lake. The garden is big with plenty of room for play, but also quiet barbecue evenings. The accommodation with 8 beds + 1 (sofa bed) is fully equipped with a newly renovated kitchen, a smaller toilet on the entrance level and a bathroom with shower and toilet on the basement level. Here there is the opportunity for both relaxation and activity. Welcome!

Cabin in rural environment Älö, 15 min from Vimmerby

Red Småland cottage, surrounded by quiet meadows and green fields. Only a stone's throw away is Astrid Lindgren's World, where fairy tales and childhood memories live on. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature. On the farm, we have chickens and sheep that you can meet if you want. In the nature around the cottage, we have most Swedish animal species, moose, deer, roe deer, lynx, but also the sea eagle can be seen scouting for prey on meadows and fields. If you want to fish and swim, there are two lakes within a few kilometers.

Cottage in Djursdala - Bullebo

Stay at a charming little horse farm that offers a unique and scenic environment with its own garden. Located 15 minutes outside Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Here is a newly renovated red little cottage with an annex, which together can accommodate up to six people. A short walk leads to a lake perfect for evening swimming, there is also a child-friendly swimming area with diving tower that is about five minutes away by car in Lake Juttern. Outside the junction is the Sevedeleden trail, which takes you to the Djursdalarunda.

Stay in our charming little retro pearl of 78 sqm with large garden just next to Pelarne church. 5 minutes to Bullerbyn. 10 minutes (1 km) to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgrens Värld. The house has two bedrooms, a common room, a dining room, a kitchen and a new bathroom with a toilet, a shower and a washing machine. Two double beds (one large, and one 140 cm wide) and a single bed (pull-out sofa in the dining room, for children or shorter adult.). Guests clean themselves after their stay. Please bring your own towels and bedsheets.

It is part of an old Swedish farmhouse on a 10 hectare property located between the lakes Rummelsrum and Hyttegöl. Get to know the rich fauna and flora directly from the terrace or during long walks in the area. After a dip in the lake, enjoy a barbecue on the attractively lit terrace.
