Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Solaro

Great house with a beautiful view. We spent beautiful days here in the mountains. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. However, you are dependent on a car, as it is about 25 minutes to a larger supermarket for shopping. We would come back.

We really enjoyed the house, which is very bright with a very well-equipped kitchen. It is a very nice house, with a beautiful sunset on the mountains that can be seen from the pool terrace. A small technical pool ladder issue following a previous rental earned us a small refund on the price paid for the unsolicited rental. Very good owners. I highly recommend this house to explore the Suf part of Corsica. For the children of the Plat Pays, of which I am one, the Corsican mountains are high, it is in our interest to hang on to the hairpin roads. I recommend the road along the coast, despite a possible traffic jam...

Excellent welcome from Michele. The house is a very well furnished traditional Corsican house, with a very nice little garden. Beautiful cherry tree that we enjoyed;-) All this in the tranquility of the Corsican mountains, far from the hustle and bustle of the coast. And the house is very easy to find, which is not always the case around here.

We could. It have wished for a more beautiful spot or villa to stay in for this family reunion holiday. The view from the balcony across the bay and surrounding mountains is spectacular, the neighbourhood very peaceful and access to all we needed and wanted to do couldn’t have been easier. The villa has been superbly renovated with every comfort to make our stay feel exotic yet warm and welcoming. Thank you so much Eric. We would love to come back again soon!

We had a great weeks stay at this property, thank you Charlotte! We all loved the pool, which was a lovely temperature. The house is perfectly located, 5-10mins drive from a beautiful beach and only 15mins from Cavu, a great river that we loved swimming in. Charlottes recommendations were very helpful, especially the restaurants, we tried a few and they were all delicious. She was very helpful and left us a pushchair for our 1year old daughter, and was very proactive in her messaging. We’d love to return one day !

The house is in a prime location above Favone. The house and the decor are very high quality and very tasteful. We felt very comfortable right away. In the village, there are great restaurants with very friendly and helpful staff. The house is also the ideal starting point for many excursion destinations. You are torn to and fro to spend the days in this wonderful house or to explore the area. From the terrace, you have a sensational view of the mountain ranges as well as the Bay of Favone. The communication with Lilyan was very good and extraordinarily friendly. The house was in perfect condition. Upon our arrival. We will return.

It's a quiet place, very close to a river, in a very quiet little village. Nathalie is a very friendly welcome and gives valuable and many tips on what can be visited in the area. Everything went well except when we arrived: since there were two address names, I put one on my GPS, but it wasn't the right one. It is absolutely necessary to put Piertrapola. This mistake cost us an hour more drive from Ajaccio, turning turns on tiny roads. I did not understand why there are two village names so distinct for this accommodation, especially since only one is relevant in the end... Otherwise, sorry for taking the mosquito plug!

We had a wonderful time in the historic house of Marie Antoinette. She was a perfect hostess, welcomed us very warmly, gave us good tips and responded to our wishes and questions immediately. The apartment is very, very clean, well equipped and exceptionally tasteful and designed with loving details. The large roof terrace with a view of the sea and the mountains is particularly worth mentioning, and from which the sunset behind the mountains is beautiful to watch. From the roof terrace, you can also watch the colorful hustle and bustle of the market square. We liked to use the offers in the village (village shop, two restaurants, a bar, etc.) The location of Belgodère is great. We were able to ride our e-bikes(!) to the beach or through the villages, on beautiful paths that were hardly used (spring!) and were able to take great hikes from there. We fully recommend the place.

The apartment is located on the ground floor and opens onto a nice terrace where you can have breakfast or enjoy the pool a little lower facing this incredible environment. Inside, there's everything you need. Pascal's welcome is very warm and his communication perfect. A little corner of paradise where we would gladly settle!

The place itself is wonderful and reasonably priced, and communication with the host was smooth at first. But for some reason, she decided to pick a fight at the very end of our stay about a trivial misunderstanding (about the exact place to leave the garbage bags) that she could've avoided by providing actual instructions in the house rules (there weren't any). That left a bad aftertaste.

I had an absolutely wonderful week in this beautiful villa! The setting is exceptional: the 270° view is simply breathtaking, a true haven of peace. The house is decorated with great taste, very well-equipped, and remarkably comfortable. Special mention for the heated pool, perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. Everything was impeccably clean when we arrived, and communication was smooth, warm and very attentive. A huge thank you to Karen, who is a very beautiful, caring and available person. You can feel that she puts her heart into offering an unforgettable experience to her guests. I recommend this address with my eyes closed and I sincerely hope to return soon. This was the third time we stayed at Calm and Charm in Porto Vecchio and it was just great to be back! We immediately felt at home! The house is beautiful with a large, private, garden and it's close to the lovely city of Porto Vecchio and the beautiful Palombaggia. Thank you very much for the great service, we'll be back in 2026!

The house with garden is beautiful and really offers everything your heart desires. The decor is elegant, each room has air conditioning and heating, there is even a working Swedish stove. We cooked daily, Charlotte has equipped the kitchen with absolutely anything needed for it. The house is situated in the mountains and those looking for silence and seclusion are in the right place. Unfortunately, there is no shopping in the village (no bakery, no grocery store, just a butcher). The nearest shopping is in Ile-Rousse, about 30 minutes away by car. The road there or to the house is quite curvy... We really enjoyed the house and our meals on the terrace as well as the sunsets and could only recommend accommodation!

We had a great stay at Valerie’s beautiful house. The house is spacious and very well equipped. We especially loved the terrace with the wonderful pool and the magnificent garden. The whole atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Valerie gave great suggestions when I asked about a patisserie to get a birthday cake, a good butcher for a barbecue, etc.. And Sahila who checked us in and out was very friendly and nice.

Exceptional villa facing the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio! Waking up facing the sea in this context is just magical! A sleek and very functional house! We were 13 adults without feeling like we were on top of each other, on the contrary, it is even bigger than it may appear in the photos. Swimming pool, field below for playing soccer and a petanque court + private access to the sea, great! In terms of equipment, everything is well thought out, a storage room with a second fridge and spaces that allow you to relax in the patio, both inside and outside! The large retractable bay windows, once opened, offer a huge living room. We had a great time for a little over 4 days, ideally located near Porto-Vecchio and 30 minutes from the airport, what more could you ask for. I of course recommend this rental where Cédric was able to respond proactively to the few questions we had! TOP

Amazing sea facing gem with everything you may need for a fantastic holiday. Loved how easy it was to communicate with Edith. The beach is very close by and the area is perfect to explore south Corsica. I loved that every room had its own private toilet and the two levels can give privacy for two families.

We had a wonderful stay at Sammy's house and enjoyed the days to the fullest. Sammy has created a little piece of paradise here and you can tell that he has put his whole heart and soul into this gem in and around the house. An excellent view over the valley, a wonderful and beautifully warm clean pool with a great garden and beautiful corners. The beds are very high quality and clean, as are the fresh numerous good-smelling towels. Incidentally, all furnishings in the house are of very high quality. Leaving the house was difficult and we would be happy to come back at any time. We wish Sammy and his family all the best and hope that all future guests will appreciate and respect this place as much as we do.
