Eco-Fachwerkhaus Schwarzwald: nature, animals, birds!

Your flat in our half-timbered house is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Black Forest, Kraichgau or to Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Our farmhouse is located north of the "Black Forest Nature Park". Nature invites you to cycle, hike and discover: orchards, forests, meadow valleys and high moors, gorges, streams & lakes! And vineyards. But you can also relax in our garden and enjoy local wine or craft beer. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat, turtles and sheep (not always on premise).

"Especially now, just get out of the city and into the countryside." The apartment is located on the top floor of a completely renovated house dating back to 1745. Modern furnishings, bright rooms, an open layout, and 92 square meters of space. It sleeps 1-6 people. You can relax comfortably on a small balcony. Access is via a separate staircase. We look forward to welcoming guests who want to explore our beautiful Kraichgau region or use it as a stopover on their journey.

Sporty ambitious runners and mountain bikers as well as walkers can explore the entire forest paths of the Turmberg to Berghausen, Söllingen, Karlsruhe-Stupferich and Thomashof directly from the front door without disturbing road traffic. The small, light-flooded one-room house (22 square meters, 4 meters high) is located in a disused quarry on the edge of the forest. Here you can let your thoughts run wild with views of nature and unique sculptures. It has a sleeping loft (1.40 m bed), a small breakfast kitchen, shower area with toilet and everything that goes with relaxing in seclusion.

Weekend house in the countryside near the city

You can enjoy nature without direct neighbors and are still in the residential area of Durlach after 200 m. The pedestrian zone of Durlachs can be reached in 5 minutes by car and only 12 minutes by car is Karlsruhe, the 2nd largest city in Baden-Württemberg. A wonderful place to relax and unwind!
