We rent out our cozy farmhouse. Both day and weekly rentals. Private patio with lake views. There is a nice child-friendly swimming area a bit away as well as access to boat if you want to row out and swim from any of the islands . Possibility of fishing. The place has 5 (6) beds with the possibility of extra rooms. Rent separately . Kitchen is wel equipped. Cool freezer. Pour and hot air oven dishwasher. Toilet and shower. The place is located at our farm in a town. Close to neighbors but still single with no visibility.

Stay in the middle of the forest by a lake but only 13 kilometers (3 km gravel road) from Vimmerby. In the large cabin there is a fridge, gas stove and fresh water in cans (no running water) but there is lake water in the tap by the outdoor kitchen. The small cottage is an outdoor toilet indoors and fresh water in cans. The electricity is powered by battery bank and solar cells. Basu and boat available.

If you are looking for the authentic 'Swedish idyll,' this is the place to be! The Torp is even more beautiful than the pictures and furnished with so much attention to detail. Tomaz and his family welcomed us warmly, provided us with plenty of information about the region and always had an open ear. We had a great week and felt very comfortable! A highlight was the joint BBQ by the campfire incl. baking bread and collecting wood with the kids. We recommend the place without reservation and will be happy to come back any time!

We will have a nice week in Sitti Pia's cottage. A cottage on a hill overlooking the lake, around a lot of forests, you can pick berries, blueberries. Cottage as described, nice beach by the lake. Beautiful lake where we caught fish.

I had three boys aged 16-21 at the end of May. The place was like a dream. We arrived at night and the lake lay there, large, mighty and mysterious in the dark. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed four days to the fullest with SUP boards, boat, swimming, sauna, walks around the lake, bonfire and relaxation. It's really great to have it all to yourself. - The eldest son needed to have the annex / cottage to himself! We dream of coming back in the middle of winter and ice fishing🎣, winter swimming 🥶 and then sauna🥵!!

Great accommodation! There was everything you needed in the kitchen and a little more. The atmosphere and surroundings are strongly reminiscent of a bygone era from Astrid Lindgren's time and fairy tales, with a perfect distance to Astrid Lindgren's world. At check-in, Airbnb's app was not working, but Patrik responded quickly when we called him and helped us into the cottage. Would highly recommend the place!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The communication with the hosts was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. The house was spotless and very well maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home right away. The view over the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and the level of privacy was exceptional — it felt like our own little paradise. One of the absolute highlights was the beautiful jetty right by the lake — the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We’d definitely love to come back!
